Awesome!. My 2 1/2 yo LOVES this app!! Keeps him occupied for much longer than a lot his other apps, and this one is typically the first one he goes for! Thank you for a great app! (And I haven't had any crash problems on iPhone 5 or new iPad, had an issue with sound, but it was fixed by turning my device's mute on then back off again, easy fix!)

Good entertainment-not education. Avokiddo Emotions – Playful learning for kids-- is an entertaining game for young students. You are able to pick from 3 animals, then objects fall down and students pick objects to interact with that animal. The animal reacts to the objects. While I can see the animal has emotions per say (burps, sneezes, shows happiness, anger and disgust etc.) there is no real teaching of emotions in this app. I would love some type of teaching element, like a multiple choice after the interaction, "What emotion did you see?". Without any type of question or learning tool, this app is really just an interactive game and does not really "teach" anything, but does provide for some entertainment and giggles. Also, cannot be used on iPad using iOS 5.1.1 (believe you need iOS 6 or beyond as it worked on my iPhone 5)

Emotions. Need a fun way to teach toddlers, young children, or children with special needs about social cues? This app is a great way to introduce the concept that a person’s facial expressions help other people know how they are feeling. Players, can add or take away a variety of props. The adorable characters react to these props in either positive or negative ways changing their facial expressions and noises they make. Children will love this app.

A+ App. Avokiddo Emotions – Playful learning for kids is an app to show young children different emotional reactions. This app can be quite entertaining for young children. You are able to pick from three different animals; a zebra, a sheep and a giraffe. After you pick your animal, the child is given a variety of objects that fall down. The child can click and drag the item to the animal to see the reaction of the animal. The app covers a wide variety of emotions which children can relate to. Also, most of the objects correlate to items children have or have seen. This makes the app very appealing. I feel it needs a slight tweak on the educational side. Perhaps a mini game to match the emotion word to the emotion expressed by the animal. Maybe even a flash card emotion matching game-- something to make it more than just a game. Overall I think this is a good app for young children.

3 year old loves this. She begs to play with it all the time and we have tons of other apps. I let her, even though I shouldn't, because I love to hear her giggling so hard as she plays!

Nice app for playing with emotions!. This is a great app for toddlers to 7-8 year olds to begin learning different emotions through play. Your child has an option to interact with a zebra, giraffe, or sheep. Once the choice is made, different items fall down to have the selected animal eat, wear, or play with. Used together with a parent, this is a great app for building vocabulary and learning emotions. Unfortunately, if your child is not already familiar with an emotion or object they will not be learning it through this app independently. My biggest wish is that there was a more educational component to this app.

5 star family fun!. Woke up this morning to an adorable 3 year old calling "mama" so sweetly. I swept her up into my bed for a snuggle. Got out the iPad to play Avokiddo Emotions for the first time and to our delight we giggled as we played with 3 new animal friends. Giraffe is my favorite, zebra is hers. And the background music is super fun. Thumbs up from mama and preschooler.

Just one thing. The one thing why does the animals lick the glasses it's weird they have different tastes too it's crazy fix it

Wonderfully Inspired!. Wow! I absolutely love this app! It is chock full of opportunities for open-ended play, imagination and learning! As an SLP, I see unlimited opportunities for teaching and learning! The app itself is hugely fun on it's own; with a little direct instruction from a parent or teacher, it can be utlilzed to address a wide variety of language and speech goals. Ideas: Talk about feelings/emotions and how you can recognize each, increase vocabulary, naming skills, prepositions, support turn taking and experiment with cause and effect. This is great for working on Wh- questions! I used this app with several speech therapy groups and the kids laughed and giggled and were totally engaged. This an app the whole family will enjoy, even adults. Highly recommended! If you like Toca Boca, you will love this!

Great App. Move the lever.. What a great App. One word of advice....move the lever that changes falling items from right to left (or give the option). Since many kids are right handed the lever gets hit accidentally too often. Simply moving to the other side would fix this.

Must Have App of the Year !!!!. This app, from the makers of Beck and Bo, is highly engaging and interactive. Your child can choose to interact with a zebra, sheep, or giraffe in fun, creative and very open-ended play. Once the child chooses an animal friend to play with, they are prompted to pull a level and multiple objects drop down (the number of objects can be chosen in settings). There are hats, glasses, food, clothing, musical instruments and more. The fun really begins here! As the child interacts with the animal of choice, they can feed, clean, dress, assist their animal friend with many tasks, and more. What they will discover is that the animals have their own emotional reactions to different stimuli, both positive and negative. This is a neat feature for kids with special needs, like my own child, does not like loud horns, which is true for some of the animals. One added bit of fun- some props will take the animal to a different "place". Example- the lei will bring out a Hawaiin background. This app is great for open-ended okay with no rules, creative play, great for children with special needs to work on interacting with others (even if they are animals), as well as to recognize emotions. The graphics are amazing, and the app will keep your child's attention! Highly recommended. Settings and I links to other apps are secure, and there are no ads or IAPs.

Awesome! But needs fixing.. I love the app! It's perfect! But it always crashes every 2-3 minutes! Please improve that! It would make a big change to the game and make it more exciting! Thanks! :D

21 month old boy loves it. It also makes me laugh as well. The newest hit on my (his) phone. And even better on mums ipad.

TIME TO CHANGE THE FILTER. Our pool has turned green from algae and our filter broke. We literally had to drain the entire pool. Then we had to take it apart and scrub the algae off the pool. Actually before that we attached a new filter to the pool and it didn't work so we decided to drain the entire thing. Once we got back from vacation we attached the filter, put the pool back together, and filled the pool back up. We also used algae clearification. It was a bright blue. IT LOOKED SO CLEAN! So if you ever get a nasty green pool, drain e entire thing FIRST!

Tons of fun with this animal trio!. The zebra, giraffe and sheep have become my new 'pets'! The Avokiddo app is definitely in the top 3 of my most used and loved apps! A wonderful app to teach and entertain children/students. Laugh out loud when you watch the reaction(s) of the animals when you adorn them with purple hair, a snorkel, blow a horn or bubbles, feed them an eggplant or a sour lemon! There are tons of objects and food that fall down she the lever is moved. The settings allow for vegetarian food only and to select the number of items that fall (5, 6, 7, 8, or 9). Turn off the camera snapshot option too within the settings. The Avokiddo Emotions app is also a great one to use in therapy/educational setting. Teach a student the 'how to" and develop some great language activities; following directions, sequences (first, next, then), and describing. Use the app for predicting what might fall down next and pay attention to the 'eyes' because they tell us a lot …… which is great for perspective taking activities! Watch the zebra, giraffe and sheep make faces and guess how they are feeling. This is an amazing app with superior graphics and sound that is sure to make you laugh out loud!

My kids favorite. My 4 year old and 8 year old play this game almost every day. I don't know why it is so appealing, but the designers must really understand what appeals to young ones.

It's a hit!!!. Bought this app for my almost 4 year old boy because we were traveling and he loves it! For the first time I can say he is a addicted to it and laughs and giggles all the time. It keeps him entertained and he only wants to play with this app. It looks so simple but kids love it!

Giggles to be had in this app.. I loaded this app on the I pad and my son found it on his own. I was hearing all these giggles out loud and mommy look at him. He was havign a blast with all the different sounds and looks. He loves the girrafe and the expressions he gives. Thank you for makiing an app that is not only good with teaching emotions but good for giggles as well. Fun learning you can not beat that.

Fun for two!. We loved Beck and Bo and now Avokiddo Emotions! As a parent with 2 kiddos and 1 iPad I was very pleased to see that both can play at the same time. One can blow the bubbles and the other can pop them. Also with one child on the spectrum the facial expressions are awesome!! This app is great entertainment and a therapy/educational tool in one. Thank you!!

So fun!. My 3 year old is obsessed with this app it was well worth the money I even enjoy playing with my daughter! Very cute game.

Avokiddo makes gorgeous, engaging apps!. My students love this app! There are so many items to introduce to the characters that they never get bored. It is an engaging way to introduce and discuss emotions with students with autism as well. It is worth the price for sure!

So much fun!. My 3 1/2 year old loves these apps!! He enjoys and adores all these fun animal characters! Very interactive and keeps him engaged. Animation is great! Absolutely loves their expressions! Constantly hums the catchy fun upbeat musical tunes! Eagerly awaiting new fun characters to play with!! Thank you!

FUNctional learning at its best!. Avokiddo Emotions – Playful learning for kids is such a wonderfully done app for all children, but especially those who struggle with processing the reactions and emotions of others. Through the use of animal friends little ones will practice fundamental skills in a fun and engaging way. There are no vocalizations to cause distractions and parents can choose to only have vegetarian choices available for their child to identify. Even adults will have fun playing this app:)

Absolutely delightful!. This is a great great app!!! In Emotions, you choose from 3 different animal playmates, then choose what you want to either eat, play, or wear based on what falls to the screen when you pull a lever. In settings, you can adjust the number of items to interact with as well as keeping the foods vegetarian. You can also save snapshots. There are so many different applications for using this app. From working on eye contact and reading someone's facial expressions to helping picky eaters learn that eating can be fun and it is OK to not like eating something. I like how there is not a lot of verbal input or "explaining" present, as learning about body language is something to be observed and imitated rather than talked about continuously. Also it is a great way to introduce playing with a variety of objects. I would highly recommend this app, based on originality alone.

My 2 and 4 year olds love it !. Love the many variations and tons of options to hold their attention. They laugh frequently and think its a lot of fun.

Loved it!!!!!!!!. My kids just love this app. I put it on right after downloading and they were playing for over an hour laughing and giggling away. The app helps with many things that my children don't even realize they are learning along with it. Apps that bring fun and learning can be hard to come by at times but this one has definatly done it! :)

Beautiful graphics. This game has really impressed me. The graphics, sounds, and interactions are awesome. There are a lot of items for the three animals to interact with. Simple enough for my three yr old to enjoy and entertaining enough to keep my attention. Good game!

5+ Stars. This is one of the rare non-educational apps I let my daughter play (2 yrs old). She loves the fun, silly and random things that happen. Love to hear the laugh when she plays. Avokiddo has the best apps for kids 2-4 please produce more - all 3 that are available are the best money I have spend on the overwhelming number of kids apps for i-devices.

Fun for mom and toddler!. My toddler and I love this game. We like the surprises that happen when the characters wear different clothing. My little one loves to feed them. I only wish we could get new things for it. We play it so often that we are used to all the stuff.

Fantastic Fun For Anyone. I download lots of children's apps and find a great many of them lack originality. But this app has originality in spades!!! It's just wonderful. I highly recommend it, especially for young children. But I'm 58 and found it just delightful.

Lots of giggling fun!. I had forgotten that I downloaded this, when all of a sudden I hear some serious giggling coming from my 12 year old who has special needs, and I realized he was off and running on it without any help. He LOVES it! My 14 year old also came running to see what was up and also got in on the action. 3 thumbs up!!!

BORING. My 5 year old daughter wants to know if she can get the money back haha. This is 4-5 minutes after purchasing and downloading. Best part about this game is that i taught my daughter about not wasting your (my) money on rubbish. Don't buy.

Wonderful interactive animations. My three year old loves it. The animations are clever and beautifully designed and there is a fair bit of variety, well worth a look.

Great but some crashes on original iPad. My 4 year old daughter really enjoys this game but is frustrated when it crashes on our iPad 1.

Brilliant App. This is one of the best apps we've downloaded for our 5yo. He has autism and struggles with recognising emotions. He loves playing with Avokiddo emotions and really seems to understand the characters expressions. The music is really cute too and doesn't grind your ears after half an hour of listening to it! Great app. Can't wait to see what else you guys come up with!

AWESOME LEARNING APP. my not quite 2 year old and my 8 yr old step son with a disability learning emotions play this non stop... My 8 yr old has learnt what upsets people and when someone dislikes something and reactions... My 22 month old has been playing this for the last 6 months and LOVES IT !! She has learnt so much (but she is advanced for her age eg can count to 20 and a-z for the last 6 months also) but plays this app non stop ONLY DISADVANTAGE in which both my kids get frustrated is the pull leaver is too easily touched and if you child leans hands while moving things it hits the leaver and they loose what they are playing with if it was changed a little would be much better as they like to play with some things more but loose it too quickly by knocking it so maybe a hold down feature that makes a surprise sound each time would be great if they can learn the leaver easy then they can learn that 80% of kids are right handed so would get touched easy :) apart from that awesome app and own the other 2 can't wait for more from AVOKIDDO :)

Great App. This app was recommended to me by 'Smart Apps for Special Needs' and it is my 3yr olds' favourite! You have a choice of 3 characters, control a lever to drop down different items to then decorate, feed, entertain - give them a musical instrument to play -and watch their reactions and emotions. Different hats mean different themed backgrounds etc. Then take a pic and use it as wallpaper. I have a 6, 8 and 10 yr old who also laugh and enjoy playing this. Thanks for adding some girly items - look forward to any more additions.

Sound does not work on iPad 2. Do not buy this, the sound does not work for iPad2 and maybe other devices. If you charge money for an app it should work, that simple. Huge fail.

Love it but keeps Crashing!. Please fix this, I love it and my daughter loves it but the longest it has stayed on is 3-4 minutes. Please, please fix so I can give it 10 stars.
