Disappointed. Was excited for an affordable option. Pictures are pixelated after background is removed making objects look stained. I opted for the year subscription and cancelled almost immediately. Now I’m out $27+. Dont waste your money or your time.

Great white background tool app!. It’s a good app for any kind of project background you need. I highly recommend it!

SCAM - do not download / you cannot cancel. This says you can cancel anytime, but it is a lie. It says “hop on over to the App Store” to cancel, but that is not possible to do. I see from many other users who experienced the same issue, the response in review from Ereasy is to go to a provided link - No Chance I am trusting that link. Don’t do it. Will NOT spend $480 a year on something I don’t want. I downloaded this to erase the grim background of my parent’s hospital room and am disheartened by this app’s dishonesty. Ereasy - you must make cancellation simple, transparent, and in-app.

EZ PZ. I’m enjoying changing backgrounds of photos with this app! I needed a headshot for a media event and found a good photo but background was not acceptable so this app allowed me to switch between different backgrounds! EZ

Easy graphic design. I used this app to help my little son make a Father’s Day card, and it worked perfectly! We removed the messy background from a cute picture of them together and added a new one with a message. Great tool for quick edits

Mediocre image editor with scummy monetization .. App is clunky and mediocre. You have to pay to use it, they’ll let you design your first image but won’t let it save unless you pay for it. Not worth it at all, manipulative way to monetize and does nothing very good, and no unique features outside basic photo editing. Don’t download this.

Pointless app. I downloaded this app to make a photo have a transparent background. Super easy task and the app did it well. What do you mean I have to pay to SAVE it in my camera roll? I’m not paying for that it’s honestly ridiculous. Like now what am I supposed to do with the image? Stare at it for a couple minutes before closing the app? No I wanted to actually be able to use that image. Whats the point of removing the background then, of downloading the app?? This is so dumb oml

You have to subscribe to use. This app doesn’t allow me to even remove background on ONE photo! What I mean is yes, you can do that but to save it to your photos or share it you have to subscribe. I’ve tried avoiding this by screenshot yet it shows up blank on the photo! Edit: the owner is very nice But I do believe that instead of having to pay you should be able to watch adds

Easy to use. Simple, easy to use and does the background removal well for quick posts. The the weekly subscription is nice for occasional use. Could use more features to manipulate image, and background cropping etc…

DO NOT BUY!! DOESNT WORK AND YOU’LL BE OVERCHARGED!!. I wanted to try this app and there was an initial offer of .29¢ for the first week. I chose that option and was immediately charged the weekly $6.99. When I used the app and tried to use the erase option, it doesn’t erase things like it shows in the app, it blurs theme and leaves a dark blur instead that sticks out like a sore thumb! I will continue to give this app 1 star repeatedly until I’m refunded my $6.99. That’s RIDICULOUS!!!

Cash grab. Ridiculous that I can’t even add a colored background for free and that it has to be transparent. I’d understand making patterned backgrounds or other photos as a background cost money, but a plain color? I deleted the app asap, I’ll find something else lol.

What’s the point if you’re not wanting to spend $. I wanted a transparent background and I get done editing the parts it missed and I go to download it and the free one I can download is the same picture I had before the transparent background and the one that wasn’t free was the one I had edited? What’s the point??

Not working. I easily removed my background and added several others but now every time I go to download for a Christmas card. It erases the new background. Ridiculous!!!

This is dumb. It lets you put in your picture and edit it but when you try to save it you can’t unless you pay for a subscription. Disappointed.

Horrible. It said you can cancel at anytime. So, I joined and immediately changed my mind, followed instructions on how to cancel. When I did, a notice popped up saying they can’t cancel it! Said to go to sp store. Went to so store and there is no way to cancel. So, now I have to call my credit card and put in a dispute. I hate to download apps for this reason, but this one sounded so easy to cancel . Now one simple click opens a door to endless aggregation. Shame on you!

FUSTRATED. I downloaded this app because I needed a blank background for a school id photo. In the app I paid around 50 cents to use the tool I needed, there weren't any instructions on what I needed to do but for the most part what I had to do was self explanatory but ended up getting a editing job I could’ve did myself in photoshop. Regardless after that I made sure not to sign off for a subscription and even went to my settings to cancel the subscription they automatically put me in. Which was a free trial so I shouldn’t have gotten charged. I was continuously charged unknowingly twice for 10 dollars, so 20 dollars all together for not even opening the app. The thing is I don’t even care about the money they stole but now it has become a problem because not only is the subscription cancelled and I haven’t used the app since July, which was for a day. I now can’t download any apps free or not without putting in billing information because they’re charging me for another 10 dollars. I have reported this to apple and have been waiting to hear how they’re going to handle this situation.

Quick & Easy. This APP saves me so many hours in Photoshop just to remove backgrounds. You can add solid colors or even gradients, and the best part... There are themed backgrounds for different seasons! Everything is really well thought out, but most importantly, the automatic background removal is super accurate and works perfectly. Definitely recọmmend it :))))

WHY!?. I mean why do we have to pay money to download our picture ? I tried every way taking a screenshot a screen recording but nothing worked it just showed blank. I know they need money to keep the app working but I rather adds than nothing.😒

ONLY GOOD FOR ERASING BACKGROUND. So, obviously, the Main reason for getting this is to remove the background. But if you want to do Anything else… like, say, combine two different images into an AI background- there is seemingly no way to do this. For example- I am trying to make a little advertisement for my kittens to get new homes. So I needed several photos to add together…like I said- there is No intuitive way to do this. Secondly, and Just As Irritating- you can not make adjustments to the SIZE of the image you remove the background from. You can adjust the Color (saturation and the like), but NOT THE SIZE...which you would Think it’d be the First option to Change. I really Wish I could add the picture that I’m stuck with to this review - it is this HUGE kitten in front of this pumpkin patch arch. IF there is a way to make adjustments on this app- it is Not easy to find. Also- you can’t save your work into the app. So if you want to go back and make adjustments- Good Luck. Ugggh I’m so frustrated I didn’t pay for Canva instead. 😖🙄🙄🙄 😖

Didn’t take my review seriously. Again as the title says. I got a response from the developer and albeit they were nice, they didn’t really address the issue. Nowhere does this app state that you can’t save anything without paying. Maybe it’s not false advertising but it’s most definitely a shady business model. And from other reviews I’d say most people would agree. Do better. Stop scamming people. I don’t have a problem with paying for a service, an app or what have you. It’s dishonesty that irks me. And this developer is dishonest. This app is a scam.

Trick. App tricks you into thinking you can remove the background for free so you’ll put the picture it and it’ll take the background off but in order to save it, you have to get a subscription and if you screenshot it blacks the screen out. I would rate 0 if I could.

App is Disappointing. So I decided to actually pay for the year plan because I had pictures that I needed to work on. To begin with, there is no information anywhere on how to use the app. From what I can see( again no instructions), there is no way to save any of the backgrounds / creations you create. So, if you are using the AI, it will have to be a different background for each individual thing. The last thing is, a lot of times it makes you close out before moving on to the next picture. That is annoying if you are working with any amount of pictures. Now, this is my review so far, it could be that the app does not give all the information to work with. I did like the fact it was very basic and does look like it has a lot of potential once updated.

Can’t do anything without paying. The app itself may be free to download and you can mess with the background in your photo, but that’s it. To save or share your photo, a subscription is required. If someone uses it a lot maybe it’s worth it, but I literally needed to adjust one photo and won’t be paying for that.

Please dont download this app.. This app is probably the worst image editing tool I’ve used in a while. I’ve also read some other reviews of people saying that “You have to buy a subscription to even use the app” as well. This is a scummy cash grab, please don’t buy this dumb app. The developer response doesn’t help either. They always say the same old “Oh, we allow you to edit your images!” BUT the thing they leave out is that you aren’t even allowed to SHARE or SAVE the image!!! There are other services that do the same thing for ABSOLUTELY FREE. Don’t give anything to these shady people.

You have to pay a membership to use. You will not be able to save anything you do without paying for the monthly subscription fee. It will show you what your image will look like then when you hit save, it offers you both plans with their fees. You can’t even screenshot your photo because it comes out completely blank then. Waste of time.

Scam. This app will not let you unsubscribe if you choose to do so. Would not recommend. I have tried to unsubscribe multiple times and have gotten nowhere. I have contacted the app and followed all the protocols to unsubscribe and it still won’t let me. This app has also been charging me for things I have not been purchasing. All in all it’s a total scam!

Easy & Exceptional!. I was able to select my photo and within seconds the background was erased! I then selected a background color and voila my photo was ready to hang!!!

If your broke like me don’t buy it. If you don’t have money this may come as a bummer while reading this. You have to buy to do basically everything even when I removed the background to export to my gallery I needed to buy it. Please dont buy it so you don’t have to waste your little time on this earth on something that didn’t work

Deceptive. Was charged 0.5 dollar a week. Then a month later I wanted to use it again, and I clicked the 0.5 dollar a week option I was given, only to realize that I was charged 10 dollar a week for two weeks in a row (not only the introductory offer was not applied, it renewed automatically for another week). Lost 20$.

Cancelled it. Just needed to change a background in an image for a friend. Then I tried to cancel. The app tells you they “can’t cancel subscriptions directly” and directs you to the App Store, where I found no cancellation option. Turns out the best way to cancel is in your iPhone settings, by clicking on your name, then the app, then cancel. Just so everyone knows how to cancel easily.

Piece of cake!!!. Spent a frustrating hour trying to edit out the background of a photo to use for company ID. This app did it in about 10 seconds with superior results!

Horrible app. The developers responses to all the reviews are saying that it’s tools are free to use but exporting an sharing is paid. Ok then what’s the point of the app at all? Just to try and get you to pay? I feel like the app is an ad of its own sitting on my Home Screen. Please do not waste your time with this app.

It works good. For some reason when used in Canva it stops providing a transparent background. It's a Canva issue. The background shows transparent in my camera roll.

Deceptive and not free!. I wanted to replace a background in one photo. This doesn’t include “in-app purchases” you have to pay for it to save anything and the worst part is that it roles you into a subscription. I will never subscribe to anything again that charges you if you forget to cancel and that you have to jump through hoops to get out of. After spending all of that time one photo only to find out I couldn’t even save it, I cannot recommend this app. May be good for photographers who will actually use it regularly

Really? I just want ONE picture.. You can’t screenshot it and you can’t save it unless you pay for it. You can at least make it free to do one or two a day. I mean, really. I wanted to knock the background out of one picture. Everyone, get ProKnockout and you can do a BATCH cut for free once a day. This is ridiculous. How do you expect us to want to pay for your service when you can’t even hand us ONE free one- even just to see how it works, what we can do with it, or even what it looks like?? App creators need to realize that people buy apps because they get hooked on the free versions and end up wanting more options. It’s not that difficult to understand. I’m not paying for an app without knowing if it’s worth it.

Save?. Ok, so this app was amazing, it removed my background in seconds but there's one small problem. See I was done with my piece and wanted to save it but, I HAVE TO PAY TO SAVE? Yea that's a little dumb. But besides that great app!

Background removal doesn’t work. It takes all of your writing away with the background. If you don’t have the most basic logo it won’t work. Definitely wasn’t work the 20 something cents it wanted for the trial.

Don’t waste your time, zero out of ten. This app is horrible. Couldn’t upload any pictures. Wasn’t even able to click on the “get help with technical issues” button. I’m so annoyed I was charged for the 7 day trial because I can’t even use the app. Please save yourself the headache and find another app.

This app is awful. And I’m not the type to complain.. Let’s start with what I needed to do. I needed to put a transparent background onto a photo… literally impossible. I had to use so many different apps to get a background I liked and when i had to do all of the work to get the image the way I wanted it… I COULDNT EVEN SAVE IT WITHOUT HAVING TO PAY A RIDICULOUS AMOUNT TO SUBSCRIBE. For 1 picture, this is absolutely insane. I have to do all of the work because this app doesn’t provide all of the tools needed to get the image the way I wanted it and the catch of it all is… when I went back to actually pay for it, THE IMAGE WAS GONE! There was no “drafts” area, no “unfinished projects”… all of the time I spent working on that singular picture, was gone. I’m not going to pay for an app that requires you to pay for everything you want to do AND pay to save the picture.

Can’t cancel my subscription. I only needed the app for 1 photo. I needed to subscribe and pay money to do anything. I did that, and now i can’t cancel my subscription. It told me to go to the app store to do so, now that i am here i don’t see anything allowing me to cancel it. this is ridiculous

Subscription Trap & Predatory App. This app subscription is very misleading, dishonest, and predatory. You think you’re signing up for a week trial for $.50 yet you will be immediately charged $11 for a subscription. I’m on a fixed income and only had a certain amount in my account and thankfully was immediately declined when they tried to sign me up for a subscription without my permission.

Not that great. Makes you sign up for a trial and then gives you a bunch a dumb back grounds that you can only access once you type in a description. they are all pretty much are horrible images…

Doesn’t work. Stole my money. App literally doesn’t work. iPhone is completely updated and deleted and tried to download again. The part where you choose the picture from your camera phone is stuck on the bottom of the screen and can’t be selected to the app is literally useless. Thanks for stealing my money smfh

Bad. Cant do anything free

So Hard to unsubscribe. Although you make it sound easy to unsubscribe through apple, it was not possible. I had tried every way to unsubscribe but you still debited my account. I spent countless wasted time and still no success. Eventually it was my complaint to apple and then PayPal who went In batting for me, and finally I got recent debit refunded. Fingers crossed I’m not debited again next week. Extremely unhappy.

Stay away from this app Update: The company responded to my review with a very generic “sorry and thanks for the feedback” comment. I hope they take the feedback and make changes to improve the experience. At the end of the day, it’s still a poor app and gives the user the impression this app is just a money Grab.

Useless. Never had a more useless app. After free trial, you cannot even use it whatsoever for the purpose it was downloaded for, or any purpose at that. Should be removed from the store, one of the worst apps.

Watch out for multiple charges!. App worked great but they triple charged me every month for many months before I canceled.

False Advertisement. It’s a given that we ALL believed we could save the low quality image or perhaps endure a minute long advertisement. Instead we are REQUIRED to have a subscription on a FREE Apple Application. The fact alone it’s Apple Editor’s Choice showcases Apple’s lack of vetting or downright negligence. If advertisements of this app don’t advertise you can’t save the images in any form without a subscription then I’ll file an official complaint against it and pursue an audit.

Not actually free. This needs to be regulated by Apple better. “Free” with in “in app purchases” should mean you still get to use some of the features. You can’t do anything or save anything without purchase

I did 7 day trial. This app erased everything except what was near the target of the picture. Then, it won’t let you just save it…it will give you a new background

Dishonest app devs. Lie about 49 cent per week price in app. Apple charges you 9.99 per week. Stay away as I had over 100 dollars in bad charges from this app. Lucky apple refunded

Disastrous app. The app freezes down nonstop. It does not allow to select photos, but it automatically selects a photo. Many times remove the center objects, no erase the background effectively

Was auto-billed $10 a week for this mediocre app. Got me for $80 bucks before I cancelled. Definitely my mistake for not noticing or canceling immediately. Subscription click bait 101.

Overcharged me. I subscribed to the 1 week trial that was advertised as 0.38$ and cancel anytime before trial period ends. I cancelled a few days before the trial ended, yet they charged me the full 9.99$ and not the 0.38$ trial that they promised. Basically stole my money.
