Cute & Simple. This app is very basic but fun to check when you’re just wanting to view the current temp with a kitten experiencing your current weather conditions. Raining? Shows images like a kitten looking out a rainy window or maybe wrapped in a towel. Hot? Kitten sunning itself or laying in a shaded grassy area. My favorite is when there was a thunderstorm & it showed me a wide eyed cat peeking out from his safe spot under the covers. I have a lot of more detailed weather apps but this one I keep around simply for funsies & cuteness.

Awesome! 4th Review. 5th review: Well over a year and I still love the app. And still can’t afford to upgrade. *sigh* Recently, the app began using only one of my local weather stations. Unfortunately, it’s the one further away so I can only use it as a reference. The other one showed wind speed and rain better. Ah well... 4th review: Still want the upgrade. This is the absolute best weather app for the cat lover. 3rd review: Still awesome. Even more kitties have been added to the free part. I truly wish I had the discretionary funds to upgrade. Cool app with cute cats telling you the weather. If you want something other than a boring weather app with cute pictures of cats and kittens too, then you need to download this app to see all the pictures. The app is free to download, but if you want no ads, you can join Meow Prime. I love the free version and they do occasionally give you a new freebie of different cats to change the scenery. If you love cats, you need this app which does show you the extended forecast and weather map if you swipe up from the bottom and you can even add your own kitty if you subscribe to Meow Prime. Aliso Viejo, CA, BAD KITTY TEMPS. I have become very disappointed in the weather kitty temps given for Aliso Viejo, CA. I have used “the Kitty” for several years and it has been spot on , up to recently. It used to be within a degree or two of my 2 outdoor thermometers. However that has changed. It is generally off by 5 degrees now and today it was off by 10 degrees. Real temp 93*, Weather Kitty said 83*. Come on, pay for an accurate report system. Stop contracting cheap. You get what you pay for. Drop Aliso Viejo from your cities if you are going to provide bad info.

Love this app!. Easy, reliable, never crashes. Early on I added my own kitties, plus one that passed away age 11 a couple of years ago. So sweet to see each of them for a specific weather condition. Love the weather detail, ease of adding cities around the world as I travel extensively, and now have an excuse to see my kitty pics every day. Agree I would like to see actual local temp on the icon and maybe option to show both F and C for certain cities. Excellent app, thanks!!

Wonderful App. This app keeps its wonderful updates Update: Still love this app. Accurate and adorable kitties. Accurate weather and adorable pictures. Plus, I upgraded and can put my own weather pictures or use a variety of different cats and kittens the app provides. I love the saving of pictures this app lets me save and have them ready any time, any where! Time slowly warms up and apps get so large they disappear from client use. Not this app. Weather Kitty stays and gets better adding new and excessive kitties to the program. Thank you!!!

Love this app!. Being a cat lover, when I saw this app, I knew I had to have it. The cats are adorable and the variety is great. Also, I check the weather on this app several times each day -- it is my favorite source for accurate weather reports. Keep up the good work. I’ve noticed white text on white background — very hard to read. I still love this app and love the new cats! Great job. I love all the new pictures you've added. They make me smile when I start my day.

Missing only 1 thing. I had been trying to find a weather app that I like this entire year. I have tried several, only to be disappointed with poor ease of use and missing weather details. I tried the Weather Kitty with a great amount of pessimism. I have found, not surprisingly, that I love the kitties, but quite surprisingly, that the weather details are to my satisfaction. Ease-of-use could be improved if I did not have to add a city (minus the location in which I currently reside) to my list in order to see its weather details. Additionally, and more importantly, I would like to see weather radar predicted over a future timeframe.

I absolutely love this app. We lost our first cat Sweet, Silly, affectionate Cassie a black tuxedo kitty with gold highlights on ironically St. Patrick’s Day of 2017. She was 15. Which I know y’all know St. Patrick’s Day is also the patron feast day of Gertrude Of Nivelles, Patron Saint Of Cats. Katerina Her Sweet, Silly, Compassionate sister who is also her litter mate passed away on February 7, 2019. We know that since Cassie crossed the rainbow bridge with Gertrude Of Nivelles, Katerina Crossed The Rainbow bridge with Cassie. So it’s all around a heart warming story and every time I think about it since my family and I miss them, knowing that they crossed over with a buddy always makes me feel better that they went peacefully. We are currently waiting for this covid-19 virus to boil over before we get two new kittens. In the meantime I have this kitten weather app which fills in the void of not being able to hug a cat. At least I can see one. I will always have this app on my phone and iPad at all times. Here’s just a suggestion, if you can this app should have a connection to iMessage so you can send your cat fan friend or family member a cute kitty photo/ a notification when lightning is in the area and in the app/ a way to see the weather on your Apple Watch with a kitty in the background and a widget with a kitty in the background if you can.

Weather Kitty. Fun and informative. Just what I need and no more. With cats! UPDATE: I have noticed lately a disconnect between the icon and the precipitation percentages. For instance, on a given hour the icon will be a full sun, but the precip will say %50. Then, there will be the opposite, where the precip is down to single digits but the icon is a T-storm. It's just weirdly confusing in a way that it never was in the past. I'm hoping it's an adjustment that can be made because I generally have found this to be quite accurate. It differs from my Weather Channel feed because I think the weather sensors/station data is collected from another location, farther north.

Weather with a smile. I love all things depicting cats in a positive way. Such fun to check the weather each day of my current location and then see the weather that family and friends are experiencing in the towns I have added. I love the hour by hour forecast, then move down to 10 day forecast. The Icing on the cake is the weather radar at the bottom. So much one-stop info delivered with a smile-inducer. Every person I have shown this to has downloaded and made it their go-to weather app.

This app is amazing. This is great for kids and adults. this is much better than the app that you get on your phone. i love this app. also comes with a radar so you can look and see the weather wherever you are whenever, and it automatically goes and shows you the weather where you are. you don’t even have to say your location 100 times or type it. Love the pics, weather not always accurate. Love looking at the kitty pics but the weather does not seem to be that accurate. Today it says Los Angeles has clear skies which is not the case at all. It is overcast and smoky. Air quality is terrible. There should be an air quality warning. The other day it said 99% humidity which usually only happens when it’s raining or drizzling at the very least. It was maybe 70% humidity. Also the radar is much less useful than it used to be. I don’t want a radar that stops at the current moment, I want one that shows predictions as well. Glad I did not pay any money for this app. Will continue to enjoy the cat pics but will double check actual weather/temps with other apps.

Suggestions to make a perfect app better!. 5 stars all the way! This has been my go to weather app since it first came out. It’s accurate and has a wonderful user interface with lots of detail and it’s adorable and I truly do recommend this to my friends! However. I have 2 suggestions that would make this app even more perfect. 1) the weather app that comes on the iPhone can display info on the lock screen. Weather kitty needs this feature as well so I can quick glance at the temperature. 2) have lil bub as an in app purchase rather then as an entirely separate app. Id be willing to pay the 1.99, it just doesn’t need to be separate in my opinion.

Fails often. Like today. For Fairfax VA, it says it is currently 49 degrees. Correct. Today’s forecast is high 32 low 14. Wrong - it’s going to be in the 60s today. A hint as to why I should not trust the 10-day forecast is that today is Monday and tomorrow is labeled Thursday, so it appears that they are using an old forecast due to an error where they could not get the right one from their upstream provider. Instead of providing a bad forecast, they should blank out the forecast if they had a problem. This is not the first time this has happened. Sometimes, the forecast is way out of whack (telling me it’s going to snow when the temp is in the 70s) but there have probably been instances where I did not notice the problem because the forecast was “reasonable”. The programmers are evidently too busy finding new ways to sell their in-app purchases that they don’t have time to make sure that what I am seeing is correct (e.g. if their provider gave them bad info, blank out that part of the screen instead of passing the garbage info to me).

This app is great! But... Ok, I think this app is really good but why do we have to BUY the cat themes?! The reason I gave this app four stars is because I love this app but as I said, why do we have to BUY the themes? I mean, the cats are cute but I don’t want to spend my money on that. I just wish they were free. I’m sorry creators, I really want to join the family but I don’t want to spend my money. And can you please update that? At least lower the prices? Otherwise, it’s a really good app about the weather and I love the cats! Thanks!

My ideal weather app. I have been using this app for years now and absolutely love it. It is perfect and I have never been able to think of anything that could make it better. I also want to recognize the creators. I know the app is having a bumpy time right now and they're clearly working hard on getting things up and running again. They were also so friendly when I emailed them. Plus. I had a good giggle because Roger is my friend's cat's name. I won't be getting rid of this app and I will continue to patiently check in to see how things are coming along.

I love this app!. I love cats. And I'm always checking the weather. With this app, I have both! The weather is very accurate. It doesn't just give you the temperature and conditions; scrolling down gives you a 5 day forecast, an hourly forecast, current radar, and almanac info. It's so cute how the cat/kitten pic that shows up matches the current weather condition of your location. Love this app - would definitely recommend!

This is so adorable. I love, love, love, love cats. I found this by sheer chance and downloaded it, I have not been disappointed, I have this on my iPhone and iPad, and if you have not checked in on the kitties, they leave a cute note saying they miss you, which of course, I always go see them. My nephew even has this, he’s a cat lover, after I showed him the app, he got this as fast as he could. The different cats/kittens for each day are super cute. It’s the only thing I use to check the weather!

Adorable and useful. I only have the free version, and the ads for that are quite visible, but I’m not complaining. I understand that that’s what I get in return for it being free. This is a very cute app. I have a total of four weather apps on my iPad, and I like to use all of them, but Weather Kitty is my go-to. This one has a nice clean interface once you get the hang of pulling it up from the bottom. At first it was not working for me and was very frustrating, but now that I know how it’s done, it’s quite easy. The information seems accurate. More so than some of the other apps. I like that they give you a lot of information, but also the short, easy to read descriptions as well as the ten-day forecast. Pictures are cute. Would be fun to have some animated cats as well. – By that, I mean videos of cats, not cartoons.

Surprisingly a great app. I really like this app because of the facts that it is actually well done showing all the data you could possibly need and also the fact that it is regularly updated. I originally downloaded this app as a joke but now I try ink I use it more than the apple weather app. Another thing to like is that you don’t have to have the “meow prime” to get more backgrounds but instead you can just watch a small commercial/advertisement which are usually skips me after 5-10 seconds and get the background you liked. I actually added a bunch of cities I don’t need to see the weather of just to see more of those backgrounds. Overall a great app and probably better than what you use right now, so you should defiantly get this app

Awesome. Unlike most apps that make you watch something before they let you use it this one just puts a small one in the bottom of the screen you can see it but it does not effect the app so much so far it’s been pretty accurate to and you can get weather from all around the world with a simple swipe of the finger the best part to me tho is that you get to see different cats they seem to change with the time of day like at night you may see a cat sitting on a apartment windowsill over looking a starry night sky they seem to cut out and paste cats here and there but you don’t mind so much because it keeps it interesting if your looking for the weather with cat pics in the back I’d have to say this is the one you’re looking for it’s pretty awesome!!!🐯🦁

Weather Kitty Fan!. This is the first time I’ve ever written a review before, but this app is so wonderful I had to tell other people that might be missing out! If you love cats, and I mean all cats, you want this app even if you don’t care about the weather. Don’t bother waiting, just buy the big version. It makes me happy just looking at the different kitties. I don’t really care anymore if it is gonna be hot or raining, just bring on the cats!

Worth the download 😺. Overall I love the idea of seeing a new kitty every time you check the weather, but having to pay for all the themes is annoying so if you could at least make add your own kitty free five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. I also like how you can see what the weather’s like in other cities or towns, like right now I have Belize City on my weather kitty app which (just guessing) is like on the other side of the world. Just kind of a cool thing to know what it’s like in random places. And if you have a friend that lives far away you can see what their weather’s like. Nice convenient app with accurate weather. Overall good game!

Love this app. I got this app because my 6 year old granddaughter loves to check the weather allow over the world on the regular weather app. I’m not sure how I stumbled on this app but when I saw the kittens I had to try it out! I found this about the same Time My granddaughter was waiting to adopt her first very own kitten so it was perfect! It was her 2 favorite things in 1 app, weather and kittens! After I showed her the app she was so happy I had to purchase it to unlock all the different kittens for her and now I’m pretty obsessed with it myself!

The Best Cat pictures ever!. I love this app! It has the best cat and kitten pictures. I open it several times a day just to see what the picture is. It always makes me smile! It has multiple themes where you can choose the type of cat pictures.I love the creativity of the cats doing human things! Whether it’s flying a plane, cooking dinner or sitting in a hair salon! It makes my day! Also the app is user friendly and the weather info is easy to read and formatted nicely! I highly recommend this app to all cat lovers. It’s well worth the price!You won’t be disappointed!

Extremely Accurate forecasts. I have tried many other weather apps and this is by far the best one. It shows me exactly what I want to know on the first screen and I just need to scroll down one screen to finish seeing the hourly forecast. You can scroll to see the daily forecast at a glance. Very well thought out for the person on the go that doesn’t have a lot of time to play around with an application. Well done!

My Own Pets!. I love the option for a few extra cents , to add my pets in place of the kitties I don’t know. Also, this app is so user friendly and accurate. I depend on it far more than the weather apps offered by my local news stations. I would appreciate it if you guys didn’t try to get me to pay for some other option. I choose to use my own photos of my own cat. I am not interested in your other themes.

Best weather app out and enjoy the kitties!!!. This is the most accurate weather app I have found yet!!! Where others tell you it's going to snow or rain and this one is always right!!! I depend on this one and it never fails on the temperature either! Best thing about it all the kitten and car pics! There so adorable! Not often enough but they throw ones out there you can download and add for free! You can go according to the seasons on how they dress them up!!! They are amazing with the back grounds. You can change them up so it never gets old. Keep adding more please! Also for those who have had the app for so long offer more free ones! That would be nice. Get them to do a survey to get them for free! I so want Grumpy cat but just can't afford it. Even lil Bub!!! I even want to add my own cat but they charge you for that one. Love the app except.... This is a great app, taking the phenomenal Weather Underground and making it better with cats! That being said, I do miss my old cat weather app because my cats matched the weather at least! I had a snow blizzard the other day and the cat was on a beach! Taunting perhaps, but I actually like snow and would have been happier to have been met by a kitty in the snow. I even bought all the extra cats but they don’t match them to the weather. I have to change to the particular pack myself. It would be ideal if they matched the weather to the cat of whatever packs the account has.

Cute kittens - problem. Fairly good weather app, fun graphics. Obviously paying for this app would bring more choices and ability to post own cat pics. I like the fact that they do change cat pictures from time to time. Simple to use and informative. Update: PROBLEM today as I scrolled down page, a small white notice appeared in middle of ad, stating my iPad storage nearly full, and inviting me to tap it to make more space. A quick check in Settings revealed, of course, that my memory is only 20% full. Not good.

Weather Kitty. This is the best weather app I’ve seen. The many cats and kittens and their cat-egories are absolutely adorable. I look forward to seeing which photo will come up every day. The weather information is very good, too. There is so much more information in easy sections than any of the other weather apps I saw. Seven days with high and low temps, humidity, varied icons for the forecast, a short synopsis and this changes from each of the days you choose. I love the hourly temperature and icon chart, and the moving map of the last few hours. Seeing the sunrise and sunset tomes with phase of the moon is very cool, too! You can watch the changing of the year. Really, really great!

5 Star Review. I think that weather kitty is a good way to get your weather and see a new kitty depending on what weather it is outside. I very much enjoy weather kitty. Especially because the weather is much more accurate than the past apps I purchased to find my weather. Not only does weather kitty have spot on weather, but it have more than weather, it has what type of moon it is, and what time the sun rise and sun set is! It also has the most enjoyable, “live forecast.” I lo e weather kitty! Thank you so much for making such a precious app

Love the kitties!. The kitten pictures always make me smile – which is the main reason for the four star rating. The images often do not match the weather. For example, I am looking at rain out my window even as the app says it is clear! Since it has been raining all day, it’s not simply a time lag in getting the correct information. But weather forecasting is notoriously inaccurate, and always has been! So maybe I shouldn’t blame the app.

These kittens are the best!. Any time that I’m having a bad day or just need a smile, (or maybe just want to know what the weather is or is going to be), I go straight to the kittens in the Weather Kitten app! I just love all of the kittens and all the different season and holiday themes that are available. These kittens are guaranteed to warm your heart and day! The weather forecasts are spot on also. Thank you for continuing to bring new and precious kittens to the app! They make my day!

Good hyper local weather app. Four to five stars - They sped up the loading time of maps which was my only complaint. Plus I had an issue that support helped fix. He communicated good and stayed in touch until the issue was resolved. Pleeease support, in the next upgrade, add the ability to place a pin on the city of our choice. Do this two person American small business a favor and subscribe. No matter how hard the Big Guys try, they’re not accurate at a hyper local temp. If you want to know the temp right now in your neighborhood this app beats the Big Guys hands down. The radar map shows more data than the other apps. I’d use it all the time if it didn’t take so long to load. It is so slow that, when I used it, I just knew that it would time out. It didn’t but that gives you an idea of it’s loading time. The cat photos alone are worth installing the app.

Love this app!. I really love this app! I'm a Mother of Cats (GOT reference) and I just think they're beautiful and they make me so happy. Not only do I get to ogle beautiful kitties, but this weather app is by far the best weather app I've used. The basic weather app that comes on iPhones doesn't have a radar map which really irks me. I live in Michigan and weather is very odd here and the lakes effect precipitation and also where precipitation goes so it's just very nice to have radar to check specific areas. I believe I also tried the weather channel app due to the radar map available but it kept freezing making is useless. The Weather Kitty app rarely glitches (all apps have occasional glitches) so it's the most reliable weather info source. It's also laid out in such an easy way. Sometimes I don't understand the design layout for apps. I don't have to scratch my head using this one.

Highly recommended!. Been using the free version for a year and I still love it! Easy to use, all the information you could possibly need about the weather at your fingertips. Seems to be accurate from what I can tell, and always makes me smile when I use it! The ad banners don’t really bother me, and you can go right past them when you scroll through the different information panels. If you like this app, check out the other weather apps from this developer, especially Li’l Bub!

Good but not what I thought. I thought that the photos would correlate to the weather experience. So if it were raining the photo would be one thing if the temp was cold or hot the photo might indicate as much but that’s not the case. If it were, when I was IN the same place as one of my saved locations I would expect the same photo to be there but it isn’t. Cute? Yes! Accurate? Sure! But disappointed that the photos don’t tie in the weather as I thought based on the images in the App Store. I actually downloaded three of these from the developer and found the same for each.

Love the kitty weather app. Love this 🐾pawsome🐾 weather app. I create cat memes for Facebook or friends. Comes naturally for me to pick out cat images to correspond to season and particular weather. I tend to pick out adorable and fun pictures as I do have a big selection of images of cats and kittens to choose and edit from. Meow! Improvements: add more seasons in Add My Cat department as I do enjoy picking out pictures for summer, and want to create more pics for the upcoming seasons like fall. Want to see fun and witty pictures in my selections. Otherwise, keep on purring with this wonderful app!!!! 5 meows rating!

Life Changing. This app has changed my life in ways I cant explain. It's changed the course of my every day routine. Everyday I wake up and check Weather Kitty, and only Weather Kitty, and it stays that way all day. The app store seems completely useless now, the preinstalled apps on my phone seem useless now, I've deleted everything off of my phone that isn't Weather Kitty; why would I want any app that isn't Weather Kitty? This app brings a new joy into my life that isn't possible with anything else. My life feels important now that I'm using Weather Kitty.

Love it. My only complaint would be that you cannot expand the screen and it is extremely tiny. I have very poor eyesight. Also wish I could add Oymyakon, Russia as one of my cities. No matter how cold it gets here, you can always look at Oymyakon and be glad you’re not there. Love all the kitties and it appears more accurate than weather channel which decided to go commercial. Ugh! I added my own kitties. Very cool app Love the addition of the Siamese. It’s all I could hope for. ❤️

Weather Kitty. We have been looking for a new Weather App after the the developer for our last app dropped support. We have cats. Been using it for a couple months and I’m always happy to open the app and get to see the new kitty pictures. We paid for the upgrade and would recommend if you can afford it. I would love to have weather alerts based on sites. We communicate regularly with family across the country and would like to know if they have extreme weather alerts.

Won't restore purchased skins after reinstalling. Edited: thanks for responding, got my purchases restored when apple fixed something in the next iOS update! Works again! I accidentally uninstalled this app and had to reinstall it. Now my purchased skin "Grumpy Cat" is gone, which has happened before (even though I didn't uninstall the app) but I previously was able to hit the restore purchases button and got it back. Now I get a message that says my Apple ID could not be found as if my purchase was lost in their system! What's worse is they aren't answering emails when I use their help button either.

Very cute and great for cat lovers. I am writing this app because it would be a crime against cats if I didn’t. This app is very simple and it brightens up your day with sweet kittens, and if I can do anything to increase the positive promotion of cats, I would download this app and tell all my friends about it. I love cats. I have a 10 year old baby kitten who I love dearly. this app is perfect and somehow even more comprehensive than the original weather app. This brightens my day even when depression gets me down. I hope you enjoy it as much as I’m enjoying this beautiful app

Wow❤️🦄👸. I love ❤️ this app!!!! Especially how when you want to look at the weather you can see cute kitty's as well... But there are a few problems, it's not very interesting. Like i don't go on it a lot because it's not very interesting. Maybe you could put a text button so I could ❤️😌😆😁😜text my friends That's basically the only problem but I know some girls want to make some of there own cats and so do I.. Accurate and Adorable. I use and trust this app more than the Weather Channel app. I find Weather Kitty to be more accurate than the other apps I’ve used, and I love seeing Lil Bub’s sweet little face when I check the weather. Plus, Weather Kitty doesn’t crash nearly as often of Weather Channel and it doesn’t constantly have useless and unnecessary alerts like Weather Channel. I know I’m not the only one who hates seeing that little red “alert bubble” all the time. If you’re looking for something else for up to date and accurate weather info, this is perfect. Or should I say, purrrrrrrfect. (I couldn’t help myself.)

Lost photos in update, excellent customer service. I unfortunately lost my user uploaded photos in the update, but in going back and finding those photos I realized you could upload a ton of photos for each particular type of weather. I contacted customer service to help me when my photos disappeared, and they contacted me within 24 hours. They were extremely helpful, and now because I had to re-upload my personal photos, I discovered I could add so many more making this app even more wonderful! Don’t like cats? You can upload whatever photos you want, have the weather posted over your grandkids face if you so chose. This app is fantastic!

Weather Kitty gives me a good feel for the weather!. I need Apple weather to say the temperature and the basic weather but Weather Kitty lets me know how I’m gonna feel about it! For example Apple usually tells me it’s about 4+ degrees colder than it will actually feel with my coat on and moving. This morning it was snowing but also rain was forecast and it said about 34 F. So not bad but the kitty was as if singing and dancing in the rain like Frank Sinatra! The night before it had been rainy and cold so the App had showed a wet Cat happy to be towelling off. Maybe it’s just coincidence but today it was like, “You go girl!” We weren’t yet plowed & it wasn’t great for driving but it was a fine for a walk! I did use my ice attachments and maybe a walking stick or 2 wouldn’t have hurt but it was fine. Thanks, Kitty(I know I could just look up Real Feel too)! I was slightly careful…but the mood! Weather Kitty has it.

In app purchase. I have had this app for some years now. It functions great with all the relevant information you'd expect and want from a weather app. The one thing I'm not happy with is that I purchased the Grumpy Cat in app purchase, I loved it the pictures are awesome, I love that cat! Also with this purchase the adds were removed "we all hate ads." I now discover the developer of this app have reverted me back to adds and basic theme and released Grumpy Cat as a seperate app that I am expected to pay for again if I wish to remove the ads...... Not Happy!

Great app, couple of minor adjustments needed. Great app overall, but if like me you have several locations, it is frustrating that you cannot change the order, and that you cannot delete locations at the end of the list (as it will not scroll that far).

Weather Kitty is cool.... I'm not a fan of cats, but I have a soft spot from Grumpy Cat and Lil Bub, so I like this app for that alone. However, aside from Grumpy and Bub, this is a great app, and it's pretty accurate weather-wise. On the odd occasion that something has gone awry with the app, the two-man company has set about resolving the issues as quickly as possible. My communications with the guys has always been positive, and they're responded promptly to email queries. Weather Kitty is undoubtedly my favourite weather app.

Amazing app! Cute and Accurate!. I love this app! It’s really reliable and so cute! The only feedback I have is that the kitten picture packs are expensive. Although most of them are $3, they’re a bit expensive. Best app ever!. I love kitties and I have for a very long time. I found this app while I was on google looking up cat pictures. A picture of this app was there and the description was "Weather kitty" and I wanted to investigate so I downloaded it and became in love! It shows cute cat pictures depending on what the weather is like! I show my dad these every time I go on this app. The only part I don't like is that you have to pay money for different cats. Love this app. I find this app funny and cute, even adorable. There are a lot of cat pictures with different themes. It’s a fun weather app, shows information for the day and week well, has radar too. It’s a great free app. When I had a question, the small team that created the app responded quickly. I also purchased a subscription to support the small team’s good work.

Makes My Day. I get a serious kick (like, a surprisingly big kick) out of how they match the kitty pictures to the weather. You have to look at the weather forecast, so you might as well have fun doing it. Accurate weather information and it's way less buggy and ad-filled than some of the other weather apps out there. Want real cats, not AI. I've been using Weather Kitty for many years and I really liked it. I bought the autumn kitty theme pack years ago and I've always enjoyed it. But the last month or so I've noticed that there have been AI cat images in among the photos. Setting aside the ethics behind AI artwork, I just find it kind of unsettling to look at. I like seeing cute photos of real cats—I don't want human-made illustrations, either, but AI ones are even freakier. I wish the app would go back to only using photographs of real kitties.

Too darn cute!!!. This app is not only adorable, but quite useful as well. One of my favorite features is actually the average wind estimate, which switches to maximum upon tapping. A new kitty pops up every time I open it, and I also see different cats for each of my selected cities when I swipe. In my opinion the small charge for an ad-free experience is well worth it.

Still Weather Undrground. I am a sucker for cute kittens and this app immediately drew my attention! My default weather app is Weather Underground and when I read through the frequently asked questions, turns out this is actually a part of Weather Underground so I am double happy. This gives all the same information but it just makes me a little happier when I open the app each time!

Cute but unreliable. Lately the app has been incredibly buggy. When you open it up it will display the current temperature but the week forecast is completely wrong. And not off by a few degrees but “from the completely wrong season” wrong. For example today the current temp says it’s 72 and sunny but when you pull up the forecast it says it’s 27 and cloudy and tomorrow is 24 degrees and snowy. We may have had a long winter but no other weather forecast was is calling for snow tomorrow. This used to happen rarely but now it’s so often I had to download another app.

Current conditions are not accurate. I love the interface, the cats, and how much info is displayed, but as I was standing in pouring rain, the app told me I was in heavy snow. This type of inaccuracy has happened every day but the first day I downloaded the app. The radar section also showed snow when there was rain throughout the region. The rest of the forecast seems to agree with my other weather apps, but for gauging what the weather is like before I go outside, this app is useless.

By far my favorite app on my phone!. Weather is the most adorable weather app for cat lovers!! I have two cats myself and I just love seeing weather kitty’s pictures. The only ads are if you don’t have premium and would like one of the free themes (Except for the ads at the bottom of the screen).The pictures are the cutest in the world!! I would 100% recommend this app to anyone who loves cats!!🐈‍⬛

Grrrreat!. This app uses Weather Underground for forecasting, and I find it to be more accurate than Weather Channel app. Plus the kitties are adorable and they show them in the current weather (sunshine, drizzle…). Also, it shows you the weather where you are at the moment, then you can just swipe left or right to switch between cities you have stored - SO EASY!

LUV ❤️🐾 THIS KITTY APP!. This is the cutest weather app. It has all the weather details I need well organized with just a quick swipe up. You get extended forecasts and can tap on the day to get its detailed forecast. One improvement I'd LOVE to see them make is putting the Sun & Moon section below the Radar section. That would give the weather info the perfect flow and visual effect. Hope you can include this in your next update. Thanks for a 4-paw app!!! 🐾🐾

Fun pix, accurate weather still 5 *. The pictures are always cute, though obviously most are staged. The great part is the weather prediction, lots of detail, several days out, and really more info than I ever thought of asking for. I especially like the daily, hourly forecast. Update Nov. 25, ‘17: still love it. I tried other apps lately, funny sayings, smart aleck, etc. The weather part always stinks. Humor is nice, but accuracy is crucial.

Love Weather Kitty!!. Every time I use it I enjoy it and the weather application is very easy to use! I like being able to check on the weather in other parts of the world at any time and I love the different themes of the different cats and kittens. Today I just discovered they have the ability to recognize no kill shelters! Outstanding!

Fairly accurate weather plus ... kitties!. The weather data is at least as useful and accurate as any other I have encountered. It's a convenient way to get hour by hour weather information. And the ability to pick locations around the world is both fun and useful when you are traveling. Plus, you know, kitties always make bad weather news better!

My Favorite App!. This app brings me smiles every day. I love all the cute kitties when I check the weather. The app is accurate for the weather and has many different kitty themes. It has 7 day forecasts, 24 hour breakdowns of the weather, moon phases, sunrise/sunset times, and allows you to save multiple cities. I have a yearly subscription and love it. Well worth the cost! I recommend it to every cat lover I know

Cute as a button. Love love love this app. Being a cat lover at the present time I have 4 cats of my own. Also I lost track of how many strays. This app not only has easy to get to and accurate weather forecasts. They have the cutest photos of kittens that I have ever seen. So go ahead what do you have to loose download the app and then you will be a push of the finger away from the forecast and you will have a cute picture of a kitty on your phone. 😻

It’s good but umm. I downloaded this app and it was sooo cute although in allergic to cats butI do NOT care. I love the app although it only tells you the weather for that time. If you don’t like cats than don’t download this app. Oh and if you want to change the the pic it makes you wach adds like 3 or 4 and so I did and it said they changed but when I look it didn’t change so that was a waist of time and my life. Later like a week after I got it the app started to charge me 20$ a month so I deleted it. This is my iPad but my moms account so I can’t buy anything on here so ya don’t get this app for those 2 reasons bye #cute app 😍

This app is the best. This app brings me joy because I am obsessed with my cats and it allows me to look at them several times throughout the day while checking the weather. The weather predictions also seem to be much more accurate than the iPhone ones so there is that added benefit. Finally, it gives a lot more detail in the hour by hour weather patterns.

Love it but it needs severe weather alerts, warnings. 4.5 stars. I really wanted to give this app 5 stars because it is just so precious-but it is lacking a severe weather alert/warning feature which is critical to our area. It’s really important to us that we know when a tornado is about to destroy us...we need time to get to our safe place. Then we can admire the pretty kitties (if we have a signal)! Also, for what I paid to acquire all the kitties, there should be a severe weather alert/warning feature!

Super cute. You have to pay for extra themes and to take away ads but the default theme is pretty cute so I’m fine without it. Also if you cash out, you can add your own cat! That’s so cute! It seems to be accurate so far, at least for today so hopefully it stays accurate for my area. I also like that is uses your location to give you ads from businesses in the area, as much as I hate ads I like to support my community and local businesses.

All the Pictures. I always love looking at this app and seeing the adorable cats, but I wish there was a way to see all of the cats in that theme at once. For example, if I pick the winter theme, I would love to be able to go somewhere where I can see all of the cats in that theme at once. Also, I hate that you have to pay for the themes. I understand having to make profit, but I hate how late the themes show up free. This app is amazing though and super cute!

Weather Kitty is the most accurate.. Sometimes my wife will pull up other weather apps to determine if the driving or flying is going to be ok that day, and her apps are usually inaccurate. I rely on Weather Kitty for all my weather knowledge. If I were going to take off from an aircraft carrier in a fighter jet, I would always check with Weather Kitty!!!

Love the app but having an issue.... I absolutely love this app and that I can see the dearly departed Grumpy Cat, and her über sarcastic thoughts! The issue I’m having is that, ever since I got a new iPhone, the “Tap to see that day’s forecast” doesn’t work ☹️ I’ve tried uninstalling/reinstalling and making sure I’ve got the app updated to the latest version. It worked just fine on my previous phone 🤷🏼‍♀️ That’s the only reason I’m giving a 4-star rating, at this point.

My Tween daughter has the weather puppy app and I have the weather kitty app. They are easy to read and we can count of the hour to hour and weekly spread forecasts to be very accurate for our region. I love this app!. I love cats. And I'm always checking the weather. With this app, I have both! The weather is very accurate. It doesn't just give you the temperature and conditions; scrolling down gives you a 5 day forecast, an hourly forecast, current radar, and almanac info. It's so cute how the cat/kitten pic that shows up matches the current weather condition of your location. Love this app - would definitely recommend!

Cutee 🐱❤️. Honestly the cats are adorable! The photoshop for the cat pictures is a little, uh, well I think not much time was put in, even though I'm still amazed a two-person company (I think they said that on the meow prime poster) made all this. Sorry if I'm wrong about the two person part. The 7-day forecast gives me a good way to make plans. I recommend this for an absolute cat gal/guy like me.

Accurate and fun. This weather app is consistently accurate. I like being able to get a quick summary of the weather forecast in word and graphics for each day in the upcoming week. I also also appreciate the hour by hour forecast for the upcoming 24 hour period. AND the cats are fun — especially the seasonal or holiday themes!

My Own Pets!. I love the option for a few extra cents , to add my pets in place of the kitties I don’t know. Also, this app is so user friendly and accurate. I depend on it far more than the weather apps offered by my local news stations. I would appreciate it if you guys didn’t try to get me to pay for some other option. I choose to use my own photos of my own cat. I am not interested in your other themes.

Love it but please add more radar features. I love this app! I replaced weather underground with it because I'm upset by their constant new features making it more bloated and the discontinuation of storm radar. This pulls data from wu so it has their accuracy but a much nicer presentation. Kittens! So cute. Please add a future radar option and storm tracks. Weather underground's API hopefully allows these because it's one thing I miss, but this app rules.

There is just one problem with this app. I like the app and all the kittens are cute but there is one problem. I can’t figure out how to get the times. What I mean by that is that I know that the high will be 62 but I don’t know when so I will not know when to go out and enjoy the warm weather and probably miss it. It is still a good app all together, just thought I would mention that. It might be there and I am oblivious to it but I cannot find it.

Wonderful App. This app keeps its wonderful updates Update: Still love this app. Accurate and adorable kitties. Accurate weather and adorable pictures. Plus, I upgraded and can put my own weather pictures or use a variety of different cats and kittens the app provides. I love the saving of pictures this app lets me save and have them ready any time, any where! Time slowly warms up and apps get so large they disappear from client use. Not this app. Weather Kitty stays and gets better adding new and excessive kitties to the program. Thank you!!!

AD Choices. This app runs Trump adds trying to get you to take a very biased and stupid quiz about how “unfair” the president is in the news. Wants me to throw my phone across the room, Clearly this app takes money from their campaign. Deleting today. Update The app did send a message saying how to get rid of ads and flag the trump ones. They said they can’t control the ads they do not select them made me feel a little better. Will redownload. Updated for 4 stars. App still needs some work in general.

Love Weather Kitty!. Weather Kitty is awesome! It brightens my day when I see the silly kittens! It’s like opening a present everyday! One thing I would change is the fact that the same cat pictures pop up. I’m not mad, I just think you could change it. I totally recommend Weather kitty, if you like cats, and are always checking the weather, this is THE app for you!🐱❤️

Purrfect! Love it! Adorable and accurate!. I previously had 3 other weather apps on my phone and have been comparing them all to decide which one is the most accurate and which one I’ll keep. After a few days of comparisons Weather Kitty wins! It’s adorable with the different kitty pics that change throughout the day and it’s so easy to use. Now that you’ve added weather alerts it’s purrfect!

Kitties and puppies and weather—oh my! 😍. I have downloaded both this app and its sibling, Weather Pup. They make checking the weather the best thing ever. It’s so cute and I may or may not keep telling everyone and whenever I check the weather, I can’t resist showing the picture to whoever is near me. The only thing better than being prepared for weather and its conditions is also having your day brightened by a cute animal, rain or shine. 🤗

Irresistible kitten and detailed weather. The kitten pictures are all adorable and always bring a smile to my face. The weather details include today’s forecast and temperature, forecasts for the upcoming week, percentage of humidity and more. So much cooler than the weather app for iphone. There are ads, but they are small and at the bottom of the screen, and they don’t get in the way and can be minimized to not show at all. It’s 100% free.

Aliso Viejo, CA, BAD KITTY TEMPS. I have become very disappointed in the weather kitty temps given for Aliso Viejo, CA. I have used “the Kitty” for several years and it has been spot on , up to recently. It used to be within a degree or two of my 2 outdoor thermometers. However that has changed. It is generally off by 5 degrees now and today it was off by 10 degrees. Real temp 93*, Weather Kitty said 83*. Come on, pay for an accurate report system. Stop contracting cheap. You get what you pay for. Drop Aliso Viejo from your cities if you are going to provide bad info.

Easy smiles during hard times. I have a page for everyone I love on this app. Local weather is an easy conversation subject when speaking with my elderly relatives. Sending my little nieces and nephews the occasional screenshot through their mom or dad’s phone let’s them know I’m thinking of them, even though I’m not there. Reaching out and connecting with family & friends just before or after extreme weather shows them how much I value them in my life; that I pay attention to their safety beyond Covid. And the kitties!!! Such joy! Heartwarming. Palate cleansing. A lovely distraction from real life. Even if it’s just momentary joy, it’s still joy. Each furry face, every whisker and pose I see gives me a moment’s grace away from grief and heartache.

Themes. I love the app! I just don’t think we should have to pay for all the different themes and should be able to pick any theme we want to use. I I know you need to make money too especially in today’s economy and inflation it’s horrible I know. I also know that you share certain seasonal themes during the year I just wish I could pick any one k wanted to use w/o having to pay for it. Otherwise great app I love the cats 🐈

Better than weather app on my phone. like the title says the kitten weather app is better than the ios weather app built into my phone. Not only are there kittens but it also gives me weather information that isn’t available on my other weather app, this is THE BEST weather app out there! and it comes with kittens!!

Love this app!. Easy, reliable, never crashes. Early on I added my own kitties, plus one that passed away age 11 a couple of years ago. So sweet to see each of them for a specific weather condition. Love the weather detail, ease of adding cities around the world as I travel extensively, and now have an excuse to see my kitty pics every day. Agree I would like to see actual local temp on the icon and maybe option to show both F and C for certain cities. Excellent app, thanks!!

Cute Weather Wake Up Call. A feature I like about this app is the wake up alert. One meow alerts me that it’s 5 AM. I use the alert as my morning alarm and check the weather then. The photos are sweet and tune in to your weather. Sleeping cat photos for night, wet kitties when it’s raining, cats running in meadows when it’s sunny. If you like cats, this is a nice weather app to have.

Latest update is sloppy and annoying. The latest update has broken parts of the app. Text In the top panel is overwritten by the forecasted text making it hard to read. When I start up the app it briefly goes to Ft. Lauderdale, even though that has never been in my list of cities. Sometimes the forecast doesn’t match the data in the next 24 hours panel. I have reached out to the developer and got an acknowledgement email a week ago, and since then, crickets. I’ve used this app for years. I’m sorry to see it go downhill. I may have to delete and move on to something better with better support.

UPDATED REVIEW. this app is adorable! before when i wrote my first review, the info for my city was way wrong. however, the developers responded quickly with some information about how to make sure that i’m receiving the best reading for the weather outside. i followed their advice and now it seems to be working fine. thanks for the tips guys :) this app is really cute and it makes my day seeing all these adorable kitties alongside my weather!
