Wonderful app!. This app is the best it allows you to create your own audio books! Just some advise it’d be great if you could add a loop button.

Best app for school. If you’re a person that prefers someone to read a paragraph to you into of you reading it in your head or by yourself, then this is the app you want to download. Currently, I just downloaded this app so I wouldn’t have to read two paragraphs on my own, and it is free to use! So that’s a plus about this app:)

Lags and crashes. The app is just what I was looking for, as text to speech helps me read school materials much faster with better focus. The 2x speed feature was my favorite part, but it asks you to pay $40/mo to use it. It isn’t worth it because the app crashes and freezes up my device when i try to scroll alongside the text. I restart the app and upload my file again only for the reading to begin from the top. I can select for it to begin reading where it left off after crashing, but it also has a pretty rough, laggy and unresponsive interface so selecting the portion of text you want the app to start reading from is difficult, on top of the fact that it’s one of the features you pay $40/mo for.

Very scammy.. I was very excited to find an app like this. As a person with adhd, reading for extending periods of time is very difficult, and having this tool to help with school would have been a life saver. However, in order to use 90% of the features, you have to pay a monthly fee of 50 dollars. 50 stinking dollars. Are you kidding me. At first, I thought this wouldn’t be a problem, I thought you could listen to the picture copies just without certain features. But no, you’re stuck on one speed, and every two sentences an add for the full version pops up. Twice. It stops you from listening, and you have to manually shut it off. The button to stop the pop up is intentionally small. I understand that the devs should get a profit from their work- but this is just shameful. Don’t get this app. You’re better off using text to speech.

My thoughts so far. Have only used a couple of times now used for old magical and Kabbalah works which trap my brain a lot of the time while reading this app has helped stay focused I am enjoying it

Awful. There’s no way to easily access you account information or check on your subscriptions - and with the price point this seems like a scam. The app itself if un useable, it wouldn’t read for more than a couple minutes before crashing or just pausing. Please do not download this. Other apps do the same thing without the scam.

Crashes. It is not worth $40 a month because it lags and crashes my phone! While is reading the pdf sometimes it would skip a whole page also

Scam/Keep Looking. It gives you a free-three day trial and after your first day, your trial “has expired”. From there the only prompt to come up is there premium option for $50 a month (which come to find out when I went to cancel was that it comes in 4 different premium packages broken down to as little as $5 for a week). After paying the, premium month deal, it would only read one of my four pdf I was hoping to get read out loud. Of that one, it only read 3 of the 14 pages. It would stop randomly and you are only able to fast forward one paragraph at a time. Always starting at the start of the pdf no matter what. When trying to find the pdf through the app’s web it bugged out and the app would close. More frustrating than anything that I paid for a month long and can’t even get through a whole file

Crashed my phone multiple times!!. I loved the idea of this app and the voice was really easy to listen to, but it kept making my phone crash, freezing up, and making me start documents from the beginning. I wanted to love this app but it just had WAY too many bugs.

It would be great. I’ve been on the hunt for apps that improve my news intake. This app has a lot of things I liked in comparison to other ones of tried. First off, the premium voices are sooo much nicer than the robotic ones offered by other apps. However, the premium price for this app is BONKERS. $50 a month? In this economy? Who came up with that? Absolutely not. I’ll take the robot voice. And I hate the robotic voice…so I just won’t use it at all. I also just don’t really like the aesthetic, it’s a bit loud, I like some of the more understated ones I’ve seen in the past.

Can’t move marker so it always starts from beginning. In theory this is great but in practice it’s awful. I am half way through the PDF I want to listen to but the “drop market to listen” feature doesn’t work. And yes I am a premium user. If this feature worked I’d give it 5 stars.

It’s okay. I’m giving the app three stars because it is very laggy and randomly stops in the middle of reading constantly. Sometimes it makes me start from the beginning when it stops. It’s an okay app but the pricing is what’s making me cancel. I don’t think it is worth $10 a week for how much it lags and quits on me. With improvements to the usability I think it would be a lot better.

Not happy!. I enjoyed the app when I first got it but I had to cancel my subscription because the app continued to shut down on me as soon as I opened my file to have read. What’s worse is the subscription is $49 a month. I am not happy about this at all!

Seriously $50!?! A MONTH!!!. I would understand per year. But for you to charge $600 A YEAR! Get a grip on a realist price point. At this price this is a scam. You guys have to realize that people quit buying newspapers over being charged 75 cents per paper. And y’all are expecting people to pay $1.65 per day. Like if this was anywhere between $1.99-$4.99 per month I would consider it. But the prices as they stand are scandalous!!!

I messed up.. I downloaded this app for my classes, so basically I used the tree trial thinking it would be free of course I wasn’t using my head. Found out it charged 49 per month. I tried deleting the subscription and tell me WHY it’s not letting me delete it. Worst thing is it kinda went to my fathers account (very bad) and imagine seeing something charged you 50 bucks without knowing u didn’t buy something and apparently someone else did, yeah I know scary. So I'm basically talking to the developer right now, I need my fathers money back. I did NOT mean for this to happen whatsoever so if you can help me out with that then it’ll help a lot, like ALOT.

Very helpful in listening to PDF files while driving or in flights. Very helpful when it comes to listening to PDF files or Websites. Many of the websites or PDF files are pain to read through a phone or small tablet device due to the small screen. This app helps in overcoming that problem by reading out the content of webpage or pdf file.

A great alternative to consume information on the go. I find this app very useful to consume information while doing other activities and the ability to change the pace . I strongly recommend it.

I love it. I’ve been looking for a Text To Speech app like this for a long time all the ones that I found either I had to pay for or didn’t have the specific voice that I want. although one problem it’s not a big problem it’s not a problem that you should look out for whenever I choose a new voice It will play automatically. that’s it

Overpriced trash. App crashes all the time, over priced, can't identify columns and reads across two columns often, has failed many times to open a url and read, failed many times to read pdfs or even upload and open them, the voices are not great, pauses very awkwardly if reading columns. I'm mad I paid for this.

Scam. This company is frustrating me. I wouldn’t think apple would market scam apps. This app didn’t even work for me. I got it to listen to a speech I was preparing for while I laid in bed. It would read any pdfs I tried. I told me after the 3 day trail it would be less than 10 bucks . However since it didn’t work I canceled my subscription before the 3 days. I was still charged afterwards for 50 bucks! What the heck! I have sent 4 emails as well as have tried to call and they phone listed doesn’t work. I found another phone number listed for them and it went to a weird RSVP confirmation voicemail box for who knows what . Do yourself a favor and just use Mac for reading pdfs. This company will scam you! I am going to report them and report on my credit card. Or if you like it then have a problem don’t count on a response back.

Best one so far!. I’ve tried about seven apps so far, including one I just paid $20 for (don’t ask me why I did that without sampling the voices first 🙄), and this one is by far the best. Natural sounding voices as far as AI’s go

Solves my Dyslexia issues. I can’t read fast enough due to dyslexia. Now I can just to websites and my books rather the boring reading. Can you guys please add more voices? Your voice is so natural but I want a British accent.

Great for about 20 minutes. Crashes my phone about every 20 min. Difficult to justify the cost with the level of effort required to through one pdf.

Awesome much needed app!. This a much needed app for people with busy schedules and need for multitasking, Loud app helps catch on work, news, articles, documents! I always prefer audio rather than reading. So this is app enables exactly that!

Doesn’t work when offline. Decided to try out this app and absolutely loved it at first. I travel a lot and like to listen to articles, books, etc while I’m flying. But if there isn’t a constant internet connection, this app doesn’t work and keeps asking to check the connection. I’m not sure why that’s necessary. Especially for pdf files or ebooks downloaded to my phone. The voices are very nice and the sentences are read w/ fluidity as opposed to sounding robotic like most apps. I may have considered paying the requested amount had I been able to use the app offline.

It’s simple, it works and it’s a clear. Pleasant surprise! Download an app get what you expect, it’s free and it does a great job.I’m able to listen to things while I’m riding my bicycle and that’s the true pleasure as I can learn while I get strong. Lovin’ it.

It does whats needed. The price is outrageous, 50$, i forgot to unsub from the free trial in time but it pauses a lot and changes setting you cant change back randomly. If i hadn't accidentally spent so much money on it id stop using it

Read back stops abruptly. When the app is reading a website back to me, it will stop abruptly. It’s not paused and the app is still running, it just stops speaking. I can press the pause/play button and nothing happens. I can even shut the app down and start it up again and it will still stop abruptly. I love this app but could you fix this issue please?

Love it but not worth the $$ due to all the glitches. I love this app. Giving it 1 star because it will close app unexpectedly when reading I cannot get through the few pages I want to read because app closes and when I open it up to continue with it, it will do the same. I have already deleted saved files but Im still having the same issue. It’s very irritating and frustrating. I already reached out a few months ago but nothing has been resolved. Very sad but I will no longer be using app, as I cannot be throwing my money away with this app and all its glitches.

Overpriced with bad trial version. The trial version gives you full features to read only one page! After that it harasses you mid page to buy the $50/month version. Wayyy overpriced! The voice is robotic and makes a lot of mistakes, at least when reading from a photo of a page. That function is what I downloaded it for and it’s not up to par.

Scammers. No one get this app and support these scammers please. I paid for a month then cancelled (it says my subscription expires March 26th). Yet, even though I paid I am bombarded with ads that still says I have the free version. It won’t let me do the premium features even though I bought premium and it says I have it for another month. I hope I get a refund from these scumb*gs.

App shuts my phone down every 3 pages. I really like this app but I would never pay because it shuts my entire phone down. I was desperate and went through it anyway but for a total of 150 pages the app really did shut my phone down 50 times. No app has done that before.

Eh. It started off going well but then the glitches came. It would stop suddenly and skip parts. It was an okay app but could be better. I definitely wouldn’t pay 50 dollars a month for it.

Bug fix?. Great experience but crashes constantly even after update

I wish I didn’t burn up my phone and kill my battery health. I absolutely love reading fanfic and this app made it 10 times better so I could be able to work and listen to my favorite stories but for some reason the app makes my phone extremely hot in my pocket and I even try just leaving it out on the table while it plays the still extremely hot and when I check my battery health it was at 98 and now it’s 95 which is terrifying. Love everything about it quite literally don’t have a lot of problems besides the fact that it killed my battery health.

Horrible for long documents. I got it go read a book but it takes forever to load. If you want to skip to a section you need the paid version for $50 a month which is horrible. I did the trial but even then, if i tried to skip to a section of a document it would never load and was stuck on a “please wait” message.

Help with Canceling subscription. Enjoyed the free subscription but can’t figure out how to cancel it before getting charged $50. Help please!

App keeps shutting down. The app shuts down after it reads one page then continues to automatically shutdown as soon as it loads after 3 more times of reopening it just to read the next page. This happens after every page.

Slow and unreliable. After many attempts, i have only had one good successful upload of a document, but it takes so long for the app to process each attempt, you would have better luck waiting behind a line of 80 year old grandmas at the DMV that all forgot their reading glasses.

Crashes a lot. I prefer audio books over traditional reading. Thought this would help with my assignments, however all it does is crash. It may read a page or two then it says disconnected or it’ll just stop reading. I’m using the paid version as well which is severely over priced for an app which is not very reliable. I’ll just use my laptop and let google read it to me.

Couldn’t listen to what I downloaded app for.. I wanted to multitask and listen to some classes online. Got the website over and then read the initial page but in order for me to go into my Academy, I have to sign in the sign in uses Google for me to sign in the button is there, but nothing happens I couldn’t sign in, I could sign in with my Apple ID no problem and the app itself that I use for my academy that’s not allowed just regular email sign in. I’m not sure if this app does not allow Social sign it but I sure hope to see if that is the case that it changes in the future, because so many apps have Social sign in now since everybody can cross post. I was frustrated and finally just gave up.

Stalling, Selective, Exhausting. Delete! App wont read stories outside mainstream media narrative and kept stalling even when reopened and reinstalled and I have to cell phone issues with connectivity so DELETED

Studying. Super helpful I find myself easily getting off task while having to read something I have little to no interest in. This app helps me read off sections of my textbook for one of my courses

It’s a good app. Very easy to use compared to the other apps I have tried! I have ALOT of readings for school and this app helps a lot! The only big concern is the monthly subscription it’s way to expensive. I really hope someone comes up with a affordable app!!

Love it😻. This is a good app for when you miss school. I can’t keep focus very well at home. So when I had work to do I felt I could not focus or read so I downloaded this app, scanned the text and it read it to me. I love it five stars👍

Opinion. Having this app is so helpful to multitasking. I’m having a little difficulty though navigating the rewind. It may be, me, The navigator. I find every time I want to back up it starts me back to the beginning. But in all fairness I’ve only been using it for a few hours. I guess I’ll know in three days whether it’s worth the monthly fee.

Horrible. Unless you’re absolutely willing to spend $50 on this app every month it just doesn’t work the way it supposed to. You can press the import button 1000 times but it doesn’t work but the mom and I agreed to pay them to $50 today it worked just fine.

Getting kicked out. When I scan what needs to be read, it’s starting to get out of the app after each page. For paying this much a month, I was expecting this app to work a lot better. I could be saving more time at this point just reading my books on my own. This isn’t helping with my school.

Web turns into podcast. Turns every web page and pdf file into podcast I can listen to instead of reading slowly. I scan my book with camera and just to listen to it with the app.

For the cost it isn't what I would expect. For the amount yu are wanting to charge a person for a subscription - it isn't the best. I would expect for such high pricing it would be more fluid with use and not so chunky in way of being able to listen to text. It should also be easier to start listening to text from a specified section of text. If it was cheaper in terms of sub then maybe I would stick with it as being able to listen to text is my preferred method due to my adhd and autism - it helps keep me focused on the subject I'm reading about and not skip ahead or not absorb the material correctly.

Awesome app. Awesome app! Nothing beats listening to your books while doing a morning jog.

Freezes and shuts down frequently. The app has potential but for the price it’s got too many major bugs. Wish I could get refunded. My main concerns: 1: Taking a pic of the page of words will sometimes rearrange the sentence or add in random “a” or “is” and you have to edit. 2: when listening to the documents it will just freeze and I have to shut the app down and start it all over again. Frustrating because it won’t just start from where you left off. 3: The app just closes randomly, especially when trying to edit the issues in the capturing. Way too many major bugs. The voices sound good for listening but can’t get further than a couple mins without these issues. :(

Accuracy. I just don’t understand why the voice is so noticeably AI and makes random stops where a human wouldn’t make a stop. The voice also detect things wrong and skips many lines jumping around the whole article. Take this feedback and improve please 😁.

Overpriced gouge. App is overpriced and unaffordable for me. The free voice is cutting and awful on purpose, unusable and constantly nagging for $50 a week remove this trash.

Good but TOO expensive. This is wonderful but to pay $600 for a yearly subscription is OUTRAGEOUS! This is not feasible. I hope the subscription cost decreases soon. Until then I will find a different app that does the same thing using AI.

Great app. Just discovered the app, a great idea. Works beautifully.

Garbage. Flat out garbage. Can’t pause and play at your convenience without it freezing to the point it freezes your phone completely. Don’t recommend at all.

you can tell the put no effort in the software. the ai will missed over half of the words or sentences even if clearly scanned in. the adds also defeat half the purpose when it makes me not want to pay for this subscription when the free version isn’t even worth the download. very disappointing and cause much frustration when i needed a basic paragraph read to me for an assignment.

Awful! Super glitchy on PDFs. I got this app to read pdf files to me in the car (book chapters) and it would glitch and skip a paragraph ever time it got to certain super common words like “often.” Completely unacceptable for a product that costs this much per month!

Was good until….. It just completely stopped working for me. It will get to a certain point where it would just refuse to read.

The app kept stopping over and over.. When I try toWrite a review on the app it will not let me send. I had to continuously stop and restart the app it would stop in the middle ofA a sentence and I would have to restart the app over and over again

Read4Me. This app is horrible. It’s has a good job with getting the words on the screen but it’s always mixing it up and I can’t read properly because of it. If you can read backwards words, this app is for you, but if not, do not download it.

Cannot copy of the text. It reads very well but does not copy all of the text correctly so some of the words are not correct

I do not like it. I do not like it because When you click on the camera to take a a picture of the page everything is wrong like every page there is a lot of mistakes I would not download it :((((
