Was great but stopped working well for me on iPhone 11. Don’t know what happened but the app updated and a lot of the cool features stopped working. Hope it gets fixed.

Not a Catholic Bible!!!!. The only difference between a Catholic Bible and a Protestant Bible are the Old Testament books like Tobit, Wisdom and 1 and 2 Macabees. If those books are not there, its obviously a Protestant Bible. Why did you lie and waste my time?

Loved until it stopped working!. When you pay for ad free you will still SEE ads! Also stopped playing audio and there’s no HELP. Some kind of scam?!

Wrong Bible Delivered. I ordered the Douay-Rheims Bible, but received the King James instead. Still trying to get it resolved.

Missing books, there is something wrong with this don’t trust it. I downloaded this and looked for Sirach so I could read on my iPad where I had left off at home in my Bible. No Book of Sirach. This cannot be an approved Catholic Bible.

Not a Catholic Bible. This Bible is misleading. It is not a Catholic Bible. Example: checkout Numbers 24: 24. I would be wary about using this.

Not a Catholic Bible. All books are not included. Missing the Deuterocanonical Books

Visual impaired. Finally a Bible I can read since my vision has been affected by cataracts and it’s to soon for surgery. Even giant bring Bibles were hard to read and heavy to hold. If they have book marks I haven’t found them yet but will continue to look. If there are none, adding them would be great.

PRO HAS ADS - REFIND REQUESTED - NEVER RECEIVED. This is not a Catholic Bible, the lifetime version continues to have ads after almost a year of my requesting refunds. No money back, continued ad‘s, and NOT a Catholic Bible. These guys are a rip off. Do your homework like I did NOT and invest in a real catholic Bible app.

Won’t open. Getting frustrated, try to open the app and it sits for a lil while then just exits back out. I even just paid for no ads now I can’t get into it. Spiritual warfare grrr

What’s with the computer voice?. Is there an option for a human voice to read to you??

Real wierd app. So I got this app and there’s these wierd numbers all over the PAGES and I don’t know how to get it off its just a copy print I guess. And there is some “missing books”.

Chapters. All chapters are blank. If I touch the data field where the chapter should be that one chapter will appear.

Good Bible app. Good app when you don’t have a Bible in hand 😂

Ok. So I like this app just to read not audio because it’s like the voice of Siri. But a few books have random numbers in them.

Catholics - please find another bible app!. This app does NOT contain the deuterocanonical books. The app is easy to use; however, it is NOT a Catholic bible. A few app do exist that contain the real bible - not this Protestant, weak book.

Recording. Horribly done. It sounds more fake. Like not real by how it’s spoken.

NOT A CATHOLIC BIBLE. This does not have all the readings that a Catholic Bible does. Don’t name the app after something it isn’t. You only confuse people.

Sad. I don’t know if I trust bible apps that require you to buy them or get apps. I spiritually struggle with the idea that with all this pain in the world, the suffering, the manipulation of Christians by leaders that claim Christ but follow the world, that we can’t get an ad free bible app. I know the company needs money, but more badly than the world needs access to a bible. Can volunteers not sell prayer cards for you? I mean, the devil only needs one distraction electronically now to pull us away from the moment we might conjoin with the Holy Spirit. What if that distraction got the child the would’ve unified the churches again?

White blank screen. I used this app and even paid to remove the ads but now it won’t open and is just a blank white screen.

At Last. I have tried to read the Bible from cover to cover before but this is so well organized and easy to use I feel confident about this time. Because of several surgeries my eyes tire easily and when that happens I switch to the app reading aloud to me. Very nice.

Glitchy on day 8. On day 8 the readings keep automatically exit out of app when you press on Judith chapter 17. Then when you look at your percentage done with Judith, it says you’ve read 100%. It doesn’t make any sense. Big glitch that needs fixed I would say. I would like my money back.

Broken. Broken most of my life I keep on going got faith and hope god has taking me on the ride where he want me to do right. 30 years of marriage has finally got to the end picking up the pieces is hard but god knows what he is doing all this time I will keep going no matter what focus on my job and god in my Life . Thank you Jesus I love you so much

Crashes. Horrible app. I cannot do a quiz, the Play Now does not work. I cannot view Quotes, that crashes the whole app, and those ads! Crap! I opened the app and saw an ad first, not the Bible, what a greeting. No thanks, I have already deleted this one.

Need a human voice. I like hearing the Bible being read as I read along. The robotic/mechanical voice is very distracting. That, plus it also calls out the number of each verse which isn’t necessary. I grew up watching religious movies with a lot of English actors. That sounds like a nice choice…😁 Otherwise, it’s a good Catholic Bible app.

Regular NIV bible, not catholic bible. This app is nice if you are looking for a regular bible, but it is not a Catholic bible, it is missing the additional 7 books required to make it a Catholic bible.

Surprised with inappropriate messages.. There are some very inappropriate “quotes” That I was shocked to see on a catholic bible app. The attitude page has nothing to do with Catholicism or growing in your faith.. I was excited to share this app with my family, but that won’t be happening, I don’t understand why these things are necessary. We have enough worldly, ungodly influence in our culture today, I was hoping a specifically Catholic app would be safe! I think the rest is great if you would remove the vulgarity in the quote sections and use your talents for good and virtue, helping us grow closer to Christ. Looking forward to hopefully seeing that change! God bless!

Useless. UPDATE: After I pad for the FULL lifetime the Bible stopped working. I’m still waiting for my FULL REFUND I paid for the lifetime add free and now it doesn’t open at all. I will expect a FULL REFUND otherwise it’s sad to say the app who makes a Catholic Bible just stole my money. What a shame

Great Bible!. I really like this Catholic Bible. I hope one day it will find its way into the print market. I would like to see it in a genuine leather edition, with fine, high quality India Bible paper, gold gilded edged pages, ribbon markers, presentation sections, words of Christ in red, referenced and indexed, etc.

Distracting gambling ads. There was literally a digital slot machine ad that popped up when I opened the app. Less than 5 verses later of reading Luke, I get Levi's jeans popping up in my face, which seems sort of ironic considering the traditional reputation the Duoay Rheims gets and the modernist reputation of jeans. Instead of getting distracted yourself, this app does it for you, so maybe it's of higher value than I'm giving. I think one star is quite generous though.

Needs a new voice. The voice reading the scriptures sounds so mechanical and robotic, it tends to be distracting

Not actually the NJB translation. The app description claims this is the New Jerusalem Bible translation, but it is actually the “Catholic Public Domain” translation instead — quite different, and nowhere near the awesome literary and emotional power of the NJB. Too bad, as I would have happily paid the lifetime no-ad price if this actually had the NJB translation.

Not intuitive. Finding the scriptures is well organized but I’m not able to copy more than one paragraphs to share directly from a copy. Does not have selections of spiritual background.

Not based off the Catholic Bible. While this app appeared to be a great resource for when I don’t have access to my bible, I am rating it 1-star because while it is listed as “a holy catholic bible” app— it is NOT the Catholic bible. It is missing the books from it. I would not download this if you are Catholic and want access to all of scripture.

Voice. It would be helpful to have a real voice reading instead of computer voice.

Audio Bible. I thought it would be people reading the Bible, it’s automated with no inflections. Disappointed and will delete app.

Reading Plans inaccurate. I choose the reading plan 180 days and it went smoothly till day 76 missing chapters of Tobit. Day 79-97 has chapters that don’t exist. Esther is missing chapters too! Was really loving this app and reading plan until I reached these days.

Not good. I bought the ad free version and it was a waste. Every time I turn a chapter an ad would pop op and had to wait to clear it about 2-3 seconds. When you are constantly doing this is very bothersome. Email the company several times to no avail so I deleted the app. Wasted $7.99.

Bible reading. I am reading Bible from this Catholic app. I go through the whole Bible twice. Very good app. Need to improve is sometime it stopped automatically. Very good!

Thank You. I am thoroughly enjoying the NABRE. It is so easy to read and, as we know, His word is food. The only thing that I wish is that there were no cookie ads, but I understand that the advertising is needed.

Can’t find some of the books.. I cannot find many books and passages of the bible, which are famously removed in Protestant bibles. So this seems to be a Protestant bible, rather. The bible was canonized through the councils of Rome, and that’s how we have the New Testament as it is. And it’s wrong to remove passages, which anti-Catholics did during the reformation, despite that the bible was always catholic beforehand. And this app which presents itself as “catholic”, seems to not have the books which Protestant bibles removed. Please fix this error

Color font messed up. Instead of having the color fonts, the code is in there in front of the words. It makes it challenging to read
