Tropical Storm Nicole. This app is really cool and easy, measuring ahead of the storm from Polk County Fl. We live in rural area so news station don’t always mention our location,,, would definitely recommend!👍

Good app, provides accurate wind speeds. Generally, this is a very good app. The wind speeds usually are within a couple knots of those indicated by a Kestrel. I don’t see the app replacing a kestrel but if your kestrel fails or you don’t have it with you, this is a great alternative.

Hurricane Nicole. Just like the previous user for hurricane Ian suggested, the speed maxes out a little under 30 mph. Would suggest people to get an adapter for iPhone that can register it rather than using this app.

Hurrican Ian. Got this when Hurricane Ian was headed our way in Florida. Used it as the storm approached, then several hours later when it was nearly upon us and the wind was really whipping outside. Gave the same wind speed results both times, so a waste of a buck.

Handy. Great to be able to measure without an extra attachment. As others said it would be good to toggle to mph. Also I believe it is averaging the readings which is goos but the description does not specify.

Works well. Could use moe info though.. I bought this for use sailing, more as something of interest than something to rely on, since you really need to rely on how the boat is handling and not on a number on a screen. The app is impressive and gives what seems to be a realistic measure of windspeed. It seems to give a stream of instant readings so numbers flash on the screen in a flickering array, clustered around the speed. Only when you save the reading do yiu get a single average number. I guess that is how it is designed. It would be helpful if it had some instructions. It also seems to operate well in any direction so you do not need to point it into the wind. Again, instructions here would be useful. But for the price it remains a good tool and a great bargain.

Please add MPH. Just downloaded the app and it seems to work fine. Would like to see miles per hour added as I take reading on land, not for surfing or boating.

Change. It would be good to be able to toggle from knots to: mph,FPS & fpm. Thank you.

Charges. This app was previously downloaded on another device in my iTunes account. I am getting charged $0.99/mo and unable to cancel this charge through the app. The email I contacted hasn’t responded.

Wasted my dollar. Doesn’t save mph setting, doesn’t zoom in to location. Don’t waste your time. DELETED.

Function. I’m a trucker looking for an app to read wind gusts. If you have an extender I can mount eternally on big rig somewhere that would be great, but of course there’s the fact that the truck is in motion that may throw off reading. If you include a line graph that shows current readings and archives data that would be great. I’d pay a pretty penny if these features are included.

Awesome App!. So I recently downloaded this being a little skeptical but for the most part it seems fairly accurate and the map idea is genius! I’ve been looking for an app like this! Couple ideas maybe update it even more to make it more accurate but other than that amazing app! All make sure to share this with my weather geeks.

How do I see it in mph?. Don’t see how to convert knots to mph?

MPH not KLM. Not user friendly not having MPH Cumbersome!

Perfect for what I wanted!. Those reviews complaining about not having mph should re-download it now. You can switch between knots, mph & fps. I love the ability to post on the map, it’s so easy just click map after capturing your wind speed. I knew the weather apps were reporting way low numbers and I was able to prove it. They said 17 but it was really 20 with 23 mph gusts. The best money I’ve spent since Pixy Sticks were two for a penny!

Without MPH it’s useless to me. Without MPH settings it’s useless for me

Units. Needs to be able to be read in m/s

Doesn’t have metric measurement. Just bought this app. Discovered when using it that it only has imperial measurement. Either add metric or I’d like my money back please!

Disappointing. The wind speed readings are always high. At first I thought this was OK outside, but then found that it reads 5 - 6 knots inside where there is no wind at all. Not very good.
