First Rate. I took this app to the range a week ago to shoot a 6mm BR Norma. When I started to use it I was amazed to find it was picking up the ambient temperature, pressure and wind direction from my iPhone. The results it gave were absolutely spot on for every checked distance from 100 yards to 800 yards. I have now configured it for all my rifles and is now the only app for shooting on my iPhone. Great job guys, I love it.

Good App. Overall this is a great app and I've compared the ballistic table to my rifle's DOPE out to 1000 yards and it's good to go. The Mover Feature is whack though but I think it's a glitch. When I figure a walker (3 fps) at 300 yards, the white rabbit says the mil lead is .1 mil (which obviously is off). I played with it a little and the right mil lead (.78 mils for my rifle /Army mil-dots) is figured at 30.0 fps. I checked my mil leads and it seems the decibel point is off on fps on the Mover Feature. It caps the fps at 73.3 (which should read 7.33 fps). Square this soup away and I'll rate this app a 5. Overall it's an outstanding tactool.

There’s ZERO support but decent app. If it’s not working or you need to restore to a new device or phone, it won’t work and you can’t reset your password. They don’t update the app (notice two years of no activity) and don’t respond to their email - directly or website form fill. This app is way too much $ to have zero support. So all my custom data is lost in their likely non-existent sync servers. Overall the app is good. But considering zero updates or support, get something else. It’s not worth it. Better options out there that actually read their support emails. Very frustrating.

No more updates. What started out as the standard of ballistic calculators has become abandonware. No updates in the last 4 years. Spend your money elsewhere.

iSnipe Ballistic. The best sniper ballistic apps and comparable with others on their owned specs, such as; Mil Dot Ballistic, and Ballistic AE, all top 3 Sniper apps. Per Marine sniper view this apps is currently a five (5) star, I can store many ammo ballistic data, firearms, ranges, etc. and add or make changes when necessary. the accuracy are within sniper kill zone. Sergeant, Sniper, USMC

Best when backup servers were working. Use to be the best app, period. But after they stopped updating and I’ve lost all my data for couple of my rifles it became a worst in the App Store.

Add a Barnes bullet. Can you add the Barnes 6.5mm 120 grain Match Burner to the bullet list?

No support. I purchased all of the reticles a couple years ago, but can no longer access any of them. The developer’s web site is gone. There is no support for this app.

Correction needed. I give it 5 stars. Easy to use. However, I have a safety concern. NATO 7.62 is listed under .308 Winchester as "Government." Since metric ammo is listed as, for example, 6.5 Swede and NOT lumped into .264 Remington but is listed under the 6s, not the 2s, while the pressure differences are not significant, SURELY .30 cal NATO should be listed under the 7s, especially since the pressures between .308 and 7.62 NATO are dangerously different!! My second observation is that the calculated results of the current ".308 Government" loads are WAY off. The BCs indicated need correcting. M80 BC is WAY higher than .1002!!!! Inch drop at 1000 yards is not -9xx, it is more like -38x. The other "govt" load BC listings are also way far off. That being said, the program works well and I reccomend it. A safety issue and glitch in the data base need attention in my opinion.

Lets See an Update!. When I first purchased this it was the most expensive app that I had ever downloaded. Pretty sure it was twenty dollars. After the first time that I used it I was pretty sure that it was the best twenty I had ever spent. Fast forward a few years and I am disappointed that it has not been kept up with. It is a shame that it is missing so many very popular bullets and factory ammunitions. Granted, you can plug in the data for anything you want, that just gets a little annoying.

Awesome app. This app is awesome. Pre loaded with data from tons of factory loads. Greats for reference and comparisons. Is there any way that when you enter the load menu to choose a cartridge that next time you enter the load menu again it can bring you back to that cartridge instead of back to the top of the cartridge list? It would make comparisons for similar cartridges or different loads within the same cartridge much faster than scrolling back though. Either way. Amazing app. I use it every week as a reference tool not just for the ballistics calculations at the range. Thank you for the updates.

Great app but has a bug. I tried removing app and downloading again. Nothing. Tied restarting phone. Nothing. All seems to work except loading the weather. I get an error message. Tells me to be sure I am attached to the internet, which I am.

Great app. I’ve been using isnipe for well over 2 yrs now. I absolutely love it. My only complaint is that I wish the app offered more reticles to download. I recently started using the ATN X-Sight ll. The app for that scope is great and you can do many things with it but I find isnipe to be more accurate when it comes to factoring in changes in wind speed, temp, etc. I get that data off isnipe, then I carry it over to the other app and enter the data manually. Anyway great app. I’d totally recommend it to seasoned long distance shooters as well as beginners. It’s a great tool in my bag of goodies that I use to keep ppl safe.

Won’t load current weather.. A few years ago this was the app to have, it is since fallen behind!!Even though I am sitting at home on my Wi-Fi I am unable to load current weather conditions. Keep getting the same message. Unable to reach Weather provider please in sure you’re connected to the Internet and try again later. Can’t reach anyone at customer support either, email address is not recognized for support. Another awesome company out of California. Guessing they’re all getting baked on medical marijuana and too stoned to reply !!!!

Weather import. App still will not import weather data. No reply from developer. Don’t buy it!!!

Adequate. This has worked ok for a long time but seven years since an update is discouraging. Also, the picture it provides when you use purchased reticles is not accurate.

This app doesn’t have up to date ammunition’s. Very inaccurate.. This app isn't accurate. The weather will not load.

Fair first version. This app. has the basics of calculating drop tables covered, and would probably be fine for shooters that want to shoot at ranges out to 400 to 500 yards. Some options needed for true long-range shooting are missing, thus garnering the 3 star rating from me. My thanks still goes out to the authors for this important first step in bringing ballistic software to the iPhone -- Thank You. There are many features necessary for true long range shooting. I routinely shoot at distances between 1000 and 2000 yards. At those ranges you need to input information for altitude, barometric pressure (both corrected and un-corrected would be nice), temperature, humidity, different ballistic coefficient drag functions, target speed, and unit conversions (MOA to IPHY and MILS). Not to mention the need for adjustment of click values for forementioned unit conversions. Control over output data displayed and organization of the output data into columns of my choosing would also be (in my opinion) an essential feature. If my second paragraph confuses you, this app is simple and will probably serve you well. Long range shooters will likely agree with my overall assessment that the app lacks essential features required to make shots at "stuff really really far away". I hope this review is helpful. Updates??. I’m assuming no one monitors this app or updates anything about it anymore?? I haven’t had a single update in YEARS! The weather section on this is about as useless as they come! Cuz it never will connect to the weather and change anymore! Yet again something that could be fixed but no one updating a thing! Other than those few things I’ve always used and loved the app! Guess I’m gonna have to get a different one now!

Good app. It’s a reliable and easy to use app , but it needs updating none of the new calibers are in the database. For example any of the Nosler’s 26 , 28 , 30 , 33 Hornady 6.5 prc and 30 prc.

good app, but 1 BIG variable missing!. I like this app. It's quick, it's user-friendly, it seems to be accurate. It's easy to understand. You don't have to be a mathematic genius to input the necessary data to get good output. THE ONLY THING MISSING is to be able to change your target type and target size, and scope magnification. This would give you a more accurate representation to match what you're actually seeing, for more optimum shot placement. The weak point in this app is that the DOPE it gives you is a generic NRA style paper bullseye of unknown scale... The matches I shoot, are mostly steel, and steel targets vary by size and shape. It should be easy to update this app with a selection of common targets of different sizes.

Excellent App, Excellent Support!. Excellent App! Performs calculations taking into account temperature, baro. pressure, humidity, altitude, angle to target, etc. Capable of outputting measurements in mils or MOA and has a rather extensive library of factory rounds to choose from. Support is top notch and responsive. To the person complaining about barrel length not being on the app: Barrel length is not a factor in determining ballistic performance. Muzzle velocity, however, is. Barrel length is arbitrary and irrelevant. However, a factory load will be slower on a shorter barrel than it would be on a longer one. Get a chronograph, test your equipment and input your results. You'll find iSnipe to be an excellent ballistics computer.

As good as any portable dedicated ballistics device. For $5.00, this app will give any portable dedicated ballistics device a run for its money. It will definitely get you on paper, cold bore. From prior comments I see requested features such as "Angle" have already been added, to give true ballistic range. Keep the features coming guys...(temp. humidity.. multi-directional wind and Earth rotation for the super long range freaks, LOL)... and thanks for making it affordable. Hope you have a ton of sales.

Weather not working. Been using this app for many years. Unfortunately i have been experiencing issues with the weather data not being retrieved. Hope there is a resolution soon!

Great app with two problems. Would love to give it five stars but since it does not have more reticle patterns (I would love to see Vortex Viper reticles) and I have a 6.5 creedmoor and I'm wanting to do long distance shooting but it bottoms out on app at 1000 yards wish there was a place for rail MOA data 20 MOA 0 MOA, maybe it's not possible to add that into equation, but only having handful of reticles makes me give it 3 stars.

Great application! Highly recommend it.. I absolutely love this app. It's made my range sessions a whole lot more fun. I've tried a couple of other similar apps on here but this one imo is the best out of the bunch. It's simple & intuitive to use and it's loaded with features. I used to do things the old school way either using mil-dot master or a calculator along with a pen & paper; now, this little application does it all for me. With all that being said, there's only one thing that I feel like it's missing. A simple mil-dot calculator to estimate range... (ie. I enter the size of a target manually, then the size in mil, to which it gives me the distances). Don't get me wrong I like the camera distance calculator but it's range is limited. Despite not having this one feature, I can still without hesitation recommend it. I've written the devs about implementing a mil-dot calculator and let's hope they listen because they have a great app on their hands.

Severely outdated.. The bullet library hasn’t been updated in YEARS.

Excellent. Great product. Nothing better for the cost. Allows you to get a feel for what different ammo can do for accuracy. Recommend to anyone with interests in guns and ammo. 6years since an update. Come on. Time for update and some more ammo loads.

Poor App. Does not contain data on Hornady ELD-X bullets.

MUST HAVE!!. Finally used this after leaving my DOPE book at home and was very surprised. After zeroing at 200 all I had to do was input the ballistic info and it was spot on. For a good gun, good scope, and mediocre ammo plus a decently accurate shooter it will get you within strike range even at 1000 meters. I was right on at 6,7,8 and 900 meters then a MOA off at 1000 but just walked it in. If you want to shoot and take the somewhat confusing math out of it. You will not be disappointed. And a hint. If the round your looking for isn't on the list just pick a round with the same grain weight and be sure to input the correct muzzle velocity and your cookin! GET IT!

Excellent Dynamic Information!. As an iPhone developer myself, i know the work that went into this app. Excellent job. Not only does it cover the basics, but it also picks up the weather and location information and applies it to the calculations. I have another apps that checks wind speed from the speaker and this app is spot on! Location and Weather applied to calculations can make up to .8 MOA difference in the adjustment up past 500 yards. There's even a distance calculator. Well worth every penny!!

For serious shooters. Excellent but the data for gov't issue is horribly inaccurate. For example the m-852 at 500 yards does NOT drop 107"'s. Probably the most difficult part of a shooting sequence is determining the actual drag function of a bullet. This app gives excellent cross referencing to a multitude of factory loads for those who load to match factory specifications. Reading wind still requires a degree of experience, however this is the best civilian bullet trajectory app I have thus far used.

Not best choice by far. Have to buy reticles. Only ones they offer are Nightforce.

Reticle choices. I have had this app for about 2 years and still only one choice for reticles. Please listen to your followers and install more choices like Vortex.

Great. Great app so far, I've only used it once but plan on using it again today. I agree with one of the other reviews on that it needs to factor in where u dialed in your zero, elv. Barometric pressure, humidity, and so on. That way u could make a quick adjustment for a rezero. The app is very easy to use and I found the tutorial online a big help. It explains how to and what it all means right down to saving multiple guns ammo and ranges. I would recommend this to a friend.

Great App. I somehow missed this app when I was searching for ballistics apps and bought Ballistics FTE by Jonathan Zdziarski first. I WASTED my money on that app and would never have purchased it if I had found isnipe first. Both apps give ballistics data but isnipe goes a step further and helps me to convert the data into a useable format for quick holdover info when targeting with my scope. The number crunching is fine but the whole point is to put it to use in the field. isnipe is quick and to the point and gives me usable info without my having to do additonal calculations on my own to convert tables to holdover info. If you like looking a gee whiz tables buy Ballistics FTE, if you want an app that provides a practical solution to help you hit the target buy isnipe.

Govt. load data is off.. The load data under the heading "Government" has M80 going subsonic before 500 yds, and .50 BMG ball after 700. Load data for same cartridges under "Federal" seem to be more accurate. Otherwise, great app.

Weather portion isn’t working. It won’t update the weather for me….

Needs update badly. This has been my go to ballistics app for several years but is in bad need of an update/refresh. There have been so many developments in new cartridges and bullets that this app is nearly obsolete.

No updates. Developer abandoned the app. No updates and weather will not update. Don't purchase this app. Apple should remove the app immediately.

Very good program. I use this program for work and it is fairly accurate. Just like anything else, you will need to play with velocity, BC and other variables to match your load to the dope. This can only be done with a lot of testing and training, however, once you get your load dialed in, the software is great. My complaint is with the weather portion of the app. There seemed to be a problem somewhere between actual altitude and density altitude. I would like to see DA added in the program, so that I can compare my DA with that of the app.

Solid program. User friendly program with many options

Good app. I've been using this for almost 3 years. Make sure that info you are plugging in is accurate and you will be on the money. Several times things didn't jive and my bullet was not landing as predicted by the app. I rechecked my settings and realized that I made some errors in the data entry. As soon as I corrected my data input it was right on target accurate. Temps are not always correct. I always bring my portable weather station with me. Ranges can be hotter or colder, wind stronger, etc. than the nearest weather station were this app gets its info. Double check your weather readings against your hand held weather station.

Macorkadile. So far seems like a great app. As most say... it gets you on paper & within a couple of shots your on target. Having your local weather integrated into the calculations is a major plus. Very happy with the whole deal.

Best and easiest ballistic app by far. The easy to use interface is what really sets this app apart. The ability to input the cartridge, adjust corrections based on real world DOPE and then plug in a range and dial for first round hits is stellar. Would love to see ongoing support and maybe a few cheeky factory ADI cartridges from here in Australia as well!

M. Used it for field class target shooting. Extremely good at helping to train new shooters also.

App worked great until IO7 update. This was a great app worked faultless however will not work properly on ipad2 or iPhone 4s will not allow entry of distance, which is a shame as I used it all the time, I hope a fix is being undertaken for it, many emails sent but no response so hopefully they are working on it.

Great !. I like this app best, put in accurate data and it will give accurate results. I shot a 9 at 800 meters with my first shot ever at that range. Excellent !

Isnipe. Great app to get u on the target within 2 shots. Great for rounds that drop off quickly and learn there drop without wasting heaps of rounds. Dialed in a 1700m shot and was only 30cm off target. Once ya chrono your rounds u can not miss unless u stuff it up. Enjoy

Sniper. I have been testing this on the range out to 1600m, using a Accuracy International L115A3 and so far so good, looks to be a good addition to the sniping community.

Snipers and range shooters. One of the best programs you could get. Great for your spotter or when shooting alone. For fast accurate targeting I highly recommend this program, even for military use to double check. Keep upto date. Sierra projectiles would be great.

Print. It's a fantastic app . How do I email or print the ballistic info from an apple mac ? We all know it's a great tool for the serious shooter !

Bug. Since the last update, the app have a bug. It lost some information on velocity and power of impact. I hope its gone be fixe on next update.

iSnipe is awesome!. ISnipe is a terrific ballistics calculator that allows me to compare hand loads vs factory loads by inputting measured muzzle velocity and specified BC to instantly get a ballistics solution for my location. ISnipe is one of my most used apps.

Awsome!. The recent update takes this app to a new level! Just perfect.

Better ones out there!!!. Half of the bullets that are available are not listed on the app. Mosley fore instance has more than 3 available bullets for the 7mm Rem Mag. I use Strelok now and love it. This one has more reticle options than iSnipe has bullet options.

Awesome. Has everything I need. Any factory load I've ever seen and allows you to enter hand load data. We zeroed at 100 yards and tested 3 different rifles out to 600 yards using the solution here and all had first round hits. Very awesome.

Dont waste your money. This app worked great until the last update..But because I home load I do not use factory listed ammo. when u try to load user data app crashes, when u use the automated weather feature the app freezes... this app has turned from one of my favorite to a piece of $hit... please fix or I will spread bad things about this app

Weird. I have found that my iphone gives me different specs than the ipad on the 300WSM Fusion 180 grain! Brent I now have a 30-06 TC I bought hornady super performance sst 165 tip and the specs on the box are completely different than isnipe! Not remotely close! So on further research using hornady, and federal with the .270,30-06, 300wsm, 7mm , and the 243 of various tips all velocity and trajectories are completely incorrect! Very disappointed with your useles and misleading app!

Update. This app is slowly becoming useless. Can’t apply weather conditions anymore and years behind in bullets.

Mr. Quite impressed. Is a big help and had a ton of factory rounds in its library for any caliber and type.

Doesn’t update. Can’t connect to update and lost all my data

I used to love it :(. App worked flawlessly until os7 made it to my phone. It doesn't allow me to enter a predetermined range, and after buying a new scope this week I can't change the reticle. All I have to choose from are army mildot and USMC mildot. I think I'm going back to using strelok. :( wasted my money

Bullet update required. This app used to be good years ago. It has been long overdue to have an updated bullet list. Missing most of the new bullets that have come out. If you shoot hornady elds or the Sierra tipped. This is not the app for you.

Needs an update. The weather can no longer be downloaded for real-time calculations. Was my favourite but moving on as this one has not been updated for a long time.

Great!!!. It's a great app!!! I use it all the time for my long range shooting, also for reloading data.

isnipe. I use isnipe a lot, and think it rates very well as far as my use goes. One thing that I like to be able to do however, is to print out or at least export the table with the base data and headers for each column. That is the sole one thing that I would ask the developer to do. I also have and use Ballistic both iPad and iPhone editions, and the ability to email or print the tables has proven far more useful than dragging my iPhone with me on a hunt.

Great App. Worth it of you are into shooting. Would be cool if you could do side by side comparisons of different cartridges.

Update. Really like the app and the layout of it. But it’s been years since an update has happened. Hopefully someone wakes up and does something about it

Sweet. It makes shooting at long ranges seem easy since I have a mil dot scope. Once u get the correct info plugged in it. It's accurate.

Isnipe. I bought the app. I think it'll be better if a current temperature is in one of the parrameter on balistic calculation. And also a mil dot calculation. this is a response to the current update. It's just great! Now it make this perfect apps for me and I must add that the factory load was a great and detailed idea. Precision and sniper shooter alike this is the apps for you. The chart makes it easy to shoot multiple target at various distance. I have tested the apps in field situation and it works just great out to 700yrds for now. In spring I will be pushing it as far as I can maybe even over 2km. Bravo! You guys deserve a pat on the back. P.S. Longrange shooting involve more than one wind direction. May 11, 2009 I tested the program with different rifle, caliber and velocities. Targets are from 400 meters to 900 meters. All u could say is awesome apps. Thanks alot.

Highly suggested, well worth it.. I was recommended by one of our Pro staff members who is highly into long range shooting to purchase this app. This is the first app that I've ever paid for because you don't know what you will be getting. I was more then please by everything this app has to offer and then some! To sync your weather conditions by a click of a button from your location, instead of having to punch everything in is incredible! I've done a ton of long range shooting with my .308 with a notebook beside me handwriting out all my math, being very successful. This app cuts down the time by minutes if not hours! It's my new go to tool to figure out what to adjust to. For the price it's amazing! Ballistic calculator, wind wizard, compensator all In one! Great app, few issues. Works great, fairly accurate for POI, but when you update you lose ur upgrade purchase and you have to buy it again. But best ballistic app i have found in app store.

Zero condition problem. There is a problem with the zero condition feature. For example (zero dist at 200yds): Zero temp: 0 celsius Daily temp: 0 celsius At 1000yds this will give the exact same results that if I entered: Zero temp: 30 celsius Daily temp: 30 celsius In the real life this is absolutely WRONG!! Please fix it!! Thx

Crushing AR500 Plate at 600 meters. Instantly started crushing. 14" x 14 inch plate steel at 610 meters with .338 Lapua. Very handy.

Not letting me put in barrel length. This app was great I was hitting first round at 1200m with my .338 lapua. I also use it for knowing my holds with my eotech. Ever since the new update its not letting me put in barrel length. Also there should be a muzzle velocity field.

Needs a bit more work. Great app and lots of potential. A tutorial would be really nice. A button for the target option would be easier than finding it accidentally by double tapping on the matrix screen. Really nice layout and graphics for trajectory and velocity/energy screens. Please fix the bug which kicks you out of the app when taking and using a photo for distance calculation.

Dial it up. This is bang on. 0 at 100 dialled up 13 mil, (the recommended dope) and was within 1 at 300. Awesome app

Needs updating. Still not bad though.. I used to love this app. One of the most accurate ballistic calculators I’ve used. Lately though it’s glitchy. The wind direction dial is offset and missing portions of the graphic. Also when I set zero at 100 yd it will show zero for 115yd etc. Overall still works well but requires tweaking to get accurate numbers.

Meh. Very outdated. Let’s get some app support people. Time for a severe update.

iSnipe. Lots of features but useless and very unstable . Cannot calculate the elevation after entering 180 grain bullet BC. 620 at speed 2780 elevation at thousand yards is showing for MOA instead of 28 or when when going back you find different data than you entered. Advanced weather options don't work. I'm going talking about the 14.99$ version

So simple and effective. Really easy to use. So happy to have the print/email feature so I don't have to transcribe to make printable cards! Thanks!

Needs an Update. Has been my “Go To” app for years. Recently quit connecting properly to receive daily weather variables. Way past due for an update

Isnipe. Great app. Definitely recommend to anyone wanting to try long range target shooting. I used it last year successfully in FTR competition. I did find an issue with the windage while using 215gr Bergers at the SPRA NorthStar range. It was giving more windage than what was actually required. Overall I like the app and will continue to use it.

Great tool.. Great app!! I have used it for converting from meters to yards in the field prior to a match and was impressed back to 500 yards. Going back to 800 yards had to do the odd adjustment for my elevation (0.1-0.2mil give or take). Overall I am very impressed and I recommend the product on a regular basis.

Disappointing!. This app used to be amazing. No updates, no support. Do not buy.

Awesome at taking the guess work out. Rather that wasting bullets or guessing what your adjustments should be this tells you everything and allows you to choose factory bullet trajectory which made switching distances easy to do. If you want simple and easy app to calculate bullet drop and makes shooting more fun.

Good app. I use it mostly as a reference when comparing ballistics of different calibers. My only gripe is when you go back to select a load it takes you back to the beginning of the numerically ordered list of calibers (so you always start in the .17's) instead of where you left off. Fix that and it gets 5 stars.

Only app on my phone that crashes.. After uploading the latest update I tried opening isnipe and it asked to be allowed to use my device identification to improve future performance. I hit the deny button and the program abruptly closes out. I tried closing the app and restarting it. I even reset my iPad to no avail. It basically says either give up your privacy or you cannot use the app you already paid for! I'll be shopping for a new trajectory program.

Buy it!. Works in believably well. I can go from 200 yds zeroed to 435 ( or any other odd distance) and get right on paper. Currently zeroed at 500 yds and am working my way farther out. I have 1/4 moa adjustments, so if I need a partial click I snipe gives me a hold on the target to adjust. Awesome!

Has potential. This is a decent app for medium range shooters. It gives you very basic ballistics solutions. If you try to get weather info when you don't have a data connection. The app will repeatedly notify you, and become useless until you restart the app. I would give this app another star if it included a data logging section. To keep track of your shooting information.

isnipe save screen problem. Everything was great last update messed up my save screen. The date entry box is at the top of the screen and am entering data in the blind. Work in a BIG gun shot and use this a lot but this problem is setting me back. Email links on web page don't work, in a heck of a fix.

Upgrade Still Doesn't Function. This could be the app I was looking for. Calculations seem to be consistent with other programs. Overall happy with the purchase, however the upgrade for spin drift does not load. I have sent a couple emails to get resolved and still have not got a refund for the upgrade or got it working. Otherwise this would be a 5.

Great app!. Works exactly how I expected it to... To adjust the max distance and increment size, just scroll down, they're there. I emailed the developer with a few questions and got a reply right away... Turns out metric conversions and atmospheric corrections are confirmed features due out in the next few releases. Keep the features coming guys, it's amazing so far.

Excellent!. Superior to most calculators that I've used for my home PC. Would like to see a few updates on the factory ammo tables, as well as a few new calibers(4.6x30MM), but that is minor. This is a great app that will give you more space in your range bag by eliminating extra devices!

Well worth it. I don't write reviews unless something is really good or really bad. If you are a shooter or hunter this app is worth the money. I use it on a touch and would be better on iPhone for current weather. It allows me to enter it manually though. I like the fact that even though it has thousands of factory rounds it allows me to put in my custom settings and save them.

free updates. i like the fact that you get free updates unlike the app ballistic and its other versions. this app does the job good enough for the average handloader like myself. i would suggest adding in the next update some more calibers in the factory loads library. for example, the .243 is missing and so is .25-06, very popular calibers. another plus of this app is ease of use. also, for $5, being slightly slower isnt that big of a deal as the author of ballistic said. this app satisfies my needs at a good price. keep 'em coming.

2 years and still my go to BC calc. Reliable, accurate results. This is my go to app for long range matches. I do have one request. Include an option to display both mils and moa for the firing solutions and table. Many scopes are a mix with mil reticule and moa turrets and having an option for "both" in one table for elevation and wind would make life easier.

Until IOS 10 it was flawless!. Once they fix the new bug this app will be my range buddie again. I've had 4 years of dependable use and I've learned a lot with it. Please fix the problem, once you press compute with your rifle data the drop chart comes out as lines. Completely useless. Bummer.

impressed. I'm a hunter that likes to shoot long range.I hunt Colorado in high elevation and cold weather. This app is exactly what I have been looking to find for many years.I went to the Web site and viewed the video tutorials,downloaded the app and immediately was very comfortable using the program. Awesome app. I got this after looking at some of the other apps like this and am glad I got this one... Very well thought out, and using the accelerator in the iPhone the calculat angle to target, mil dot is very helpful, and you can select speed of target, great app 5 stars

Well laid out but needs more development. This app is 90% there but missing a few details to be a serious long range shooting tool - needs an option for offset zero height - needs different reticle and zoom options, and zoom capability on the reticle screen 9mm projectiles are still missing from the database. ... Over a year later, 9mm projectiles are STILL missing! Why??

Pretty good. This is a great idea and uses the iPhones abilities to great advantage but the current location gps settings don't work quite what the app requires. Everyone knows the difference between 30 and 15 degrees farenheit could throw off a shot and even the altitude and wind speed. And this calculator doesn't quite have the gps down but otherwise, I love this app and can't wait to use it in the field this weekend.

Cold bore - 600yd 10 ring. I established my 300yd zero with my .308. Using iSnipe, I entered my ballistics data, weather, and range info. When I moved to the 600yd range, the data provided from iSnipe got my on the 10 ring on my first shot (elevation was good but I didn't provide enough windage so I was slightly to the right of the x ring). Absolutely happy with this app! The ability to store rifles, ranges and ballistics is a great feature.

Good Numbers. I have compared this app to several ballistics programs on my PC and it works great. I think the ability to do calculations in the field is fantastic. I tested the program this week by shooting a 500yd zero at 70 yds using the numbers from iSnipe then fired at 500 yds. The group was about 3" higher than aim point. Since I was guessing temp, etc. I thought this was darn good!

Finally :-D. I have been looking for this for a while. As others have mentioned, please add elevation and temp. I live at 4700 feet and a journey into the mountains often takes me above 6000 so elevation is not just an abstract concern. Great features include the ability to save multiple setups for different loads and calibers. You can also determine the range of the table and the intervals. Great job on the app!

Fantastic! Pingggg-. I am so happy with this. Other PDA programs like this are at $70 or more. After a few tutorials on the web I was ready to go. LR shooting is fast becoming a big mainstream sport and if you are new this is perfect. Be sure I will pass this onto any one that asks me for advice on a iPhone ballistics app! Very powerful. If you like to shoot over long distances, you need this software. The author frequently makes improvements that make it easier to use. I would recommend that you visit his website and watch the training videos. They are very helpful at getting up to speed.

Great app but need print or share. Love the app I found it more user friendly then Ballistic Fte. One feature that this app is less competitive is ability to share (send to email) the bc chart when it is generated. With popularity of turrets it is essential I can figure my bc then print it or send to my email for printing.

I, too, have been waiting for this app. I am very grateful to the coders for bringing this to the iPhone! Excellent app with a competant dataset. No problems calculating out to 1000 yards on this end. Additional features to consider may be temp pressure and elevation above sea level...maybe even vertical angle to target. Very recommended, 5 stars!!

Finally, I've been waiting for this one!. Compared data to my existing ballistics charts and at 450 yrd my drop was only off by .02 in - an acceptable varience for multiple charts that fit in my pocket. Started plating around with angle of shot and think I ticked it off when I put in 90, won't do it in real life so shouldn't have done it here... Great app! I'll look forward to the updates. Perhaps something for bow hunters next? -luke

Good but..... App is very sophisticated don't get me wrong, but watch when using your current location for weather conditions. I have to switch my wind direction a full 180 manually because when I adjust my windage it has me clicking right instead of left and vise versa

Great App. This app is great as long as the user takes the time to learn how to use it. The only reason I purchased another app was for the shot grouping/measurement feature that this app does not have but it is still worth the price. highly recommended over others that cost much more

I use in competition. Unlike BreakInThings, I use this app in long-range tactical precision shooting competitions out to 1,600 meters. Superb aid although nothing can match my log book reflecting thousands of rounds under varying environmental conditions. But BreakInThings is correct, an elevation offset would be helpful and keep me from manually doing the trig on those across-the-valley shots when the target is at a substantially different elevation.

iSnipe does not work with 1st generation iPod Touch. The iSnipe program definitely does not work with first generation iPod Touch units. Exactly why I do not know since there does not seem to be anything particular to the software that requires a 2nd generation iPod Touch. Too bad too since there are no doubt a number of others like myself that have been waiting for a ballistic program to replace the old pocket PC programs that we have been using. Perhaps a future version could work on all iPod Touch units and increase their prospective market.

Great App!!!. Awesome app with most factory loads. I love the range finding tool. Distance tool really needs a length option, not just height only. All that needs to be done is add a rotation feature to the height measurement tool of distance tool. Also, preloaded heights of animals should have help/disclaimer stating what part to measure (bottom of feet to top of head, body only, etc...). Solid app though with solid, regular updates!

Needs density altitude input!!. Wish it would allow direct input of density altitude. Would be a time saver over having to input altitude, pressure, humidity separately. Great app. Tested to 1250 yards in last comp. time for an update to include more calibers a like 416 Barrett, 7mm Norma, 338 edge. Also would be nice if it allowed you to store load recipe notes under user projectiles. And don't forget density altitude!! Not a big fan of the latest update. Input screens are abbreviated for no apparent reason. Distance calculator bombs every time I use it.

Rifle Instructor. I-Snipe is an outstanding Tool for those who wish to sight in a new rifle or reestablish an existing rifle at a new distance. I-Snipe now give you many more new features that gives novice the same abilities of professional. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

Worth It. I'm an avid shooter. I normally shoot 500 yards and know what adjustments to make at what distance. This is really great for me because I use Mildot scopes and shoot 168 SMK BTHP and know what they do at certain ranges. When I don't, I normally guess and get there after a few rounds. This definitely cuts down on wasted ammo to get you there. If I'm shooting a new gun or different style scope and want to know what a certain grain or caliber bullet does from zeroing at 100 and I want to go 500, it gives you approximate drop and spin drift. Well worth the money.

iSnipe. This is an incredible program. For the price it is a no-brainer, buy it and learn to use it. I have run it for over a year and for several arms and set ups. The knowledge gained from practical use as well as setting up hypothetical loads and scenarios will cut years off of trial and error. I see this as a fantastic tool for learning, establishing and confirming dope and it is a great tool for learning the art of ballistics in my opinion. "Atta boy/girl" to the developer(s) from me!

Great App that does what it should!. I have had this app for years (almost 4 years I think) and love it. It is kept current with new cartridges and bullets for inputting your own load data. Works amazingly well as a ballistic calculator, especially when you can't access tables on the web (you only need data to download ambient conditions). A+ app!

Great for the price. I recently retired from the military and looked for a ballistic app that I could use as a electronic "dope" book for my shooting hobbies. Found this and am very happy. Very easy to use. Initial data input is simple and straight forward and applying current weather conditions is a snap. I highly recommend this app to anyone who likes to do long range precision shooting.

Very good ballistics app. I do very long range target shooting and this app is very accurate. It is one of the few apps that are actually worth paying for. If you shoot past 500 yards and need an accurate quick reference to get your dope, this app works wonders. Recommend for sure.

Something's wrong. I've used this app for a while and loved it. It was spot on but since the latest iPhone update there are lines on the screen when you click "compute" for your ranges. You have to guess which line is which or have to print it out and take it with you. That doesn't work as temp, humidity, and revolution changes occur. I even sent iSnipe developers an email about the issue and have never received a response. I'm now looking for something that can replace this app that I can actually use.

Awesome. Very awesome app for anyone who does any type of long range shooting/hunting. I do have one request for an improvement: it needs the ability to set variables such as barometric pressure, temperature etc when you zero your rifle and then calculate based on the changes at the time of shooting. This is a huge factor for long range shooting.

They ruined this app with the upgrade. Don't buy this app! It used to work fine until they updated it. Now it is completely worthless. The danged thing crashes every time I try to make my own load and input muzzle velocity. Also, they way they separate gun and load doesn't make any sense. The creators of this app obviously don't do any shooting themselves. Wait for them to return to the old version or look somewhere else. Again, the app used to work fine, but now is worthless. I will be deleting it from my apps.

Great. App!. This is an excellent app. I've entered all of my favorite hand loads, and the ease of use is just great. I will recommend to anyone; avid hand loaders like me, or friends that just want to know how their factory ammo flies and want to improve their skill and knowledge. Much better than the notes I used to carry when hunting!

Need a few improvements. Nice but offers a 2000 yard calculation be if weather conditions move you off the 12 inch target it says out of range and often is out of range in mild conditions at no more than 500 yards has the results but would be helpful for rookie shooters with hold over. Would also be nice to have other target types to work with like the body outline style and a big plus would be iPad compatible...

Works!. Glad to have this on my iPhone! Several suggestions...The user should be able to edit the BC and other data on the chart and save it without creating a new entry. A BC chart for standard ammo would be great. For those using Mil-dot scopes there should be a column in the chart as well as specs for user input. The ultimate would be a trajectory graphic calculated. Not required but informative. I will be looking for the updates.

Awesome!. I've been using this app for a while now. It just proved itself to me 100% today when I gave it the ultimate test. .308 from 100 yard zero to 1000 yards, dope was dead on first shot for elevation and windage. Dialed down to 600 and got another first round hit. If you are serious about precision rifle shooting you need this app.

Great app. Would excel with tweaks. Please add Mils and put the Profile Name at the top of the Computation page and Parameter Input page. Also needs Freeze Pane for the column headers on Computation page so the headers don't scroll out of view. Profile name page would benefit from orientation rotation so we can see longer names. Angle to target that calculates the true ballistic range would also be very helpful.

Berger vld. I shoot a 308 Winchester & a 300 Saum. With isnipe my rifles hit spot on out to any distance. This app is very user friendly and with a constant change in the weather isnipe is fast and easy to adjust to make a more precise hit on your target. I highly recommend that anyone that hunts, target and tactical shoots to try it. You won't be disappointed. Always remember, junk in junk out!! If the program is off then your input numbers are off.

Shooter. Atmosphere and Weather Updates stopped working for me and for some reason it will NOT update. IF you know your Temp, Wind, Barometric Pressure, Altitude you will have to manually type it into the app. It worked maybe for a week, then stopped working. I've had the app for over a year and thought for sure once it updated the problem would be solved, but after 2 or 3 updates the Weather, Barometric Pressure, Wind, Elevation and Altitude DON'T work... Very Disappointing~!

Very easy to use. I've been using KAC Bulletflight ($30) and I really prefer the interface of iSnipe and the number loads they have available is better as well. I would like to see more 5.56 like the Gold Dot loads, Tactical Bonded Bear Claw (unless I missed it) and others. Same for 308. But, this is a very minor complaint and I can find that info on my own. Thanks.

Solid App. Very good app, I use it at the range with firearms and with air guns in the back yard. This version has a small bug with the OS 4 update camera but you can work around it fairly easily by changing the object size and then zooming. The photographic range finder is stunningly accurate, I have measured 5-80 yards and its dead on. Recommended!!!

Great Range App. I practice at the range twice a week. I enjoy doing the rifle dope manually just to keep my skills fresh and I use this app as a quick and easy cross reference. The calculate range based off an image is a tad inaccurate (+/- 5%), but the only better way is a laser range finder and the iPhone does not have that yet. Overall I am very satisfied with the app and it functions.
