E-Learning at its Best. Moodle has grown up a lot since I graduated college in 2013. This latest iteration makes it easy to track your course and submit assignments. I also love that the app doesn’t attempt to track you just for using it!

User-friendly. I found the app for my use very easy to navigate through. I like the mobile view. The only suggestion I have is fixing the error when trying to make a post through the mobile view. I usually have to open in full version for me to post and it takes me out of my zone. Many times I have lost what I posted because it reroutes me without saving anything I have posted.

Works well but.... Can you offer an option to open PDFs direclty in Acrobat Reader?

Cleaner look but some details kill it. As the title says, the latest Moodle update seems cleaner and more organized, but it’s hard to figure out where the class content is. If you’re trying to submit your posts via this app, the light gray background against white characters makes it extremely hard to see what you’re typing. Overall, whoever provided quality control missed some very annoying mistakes.

Poor app, definitely not prime time. Completed a course, took the tests, aced them, completed the course evaluation, then could not get a certificate of completion. Spent a lot of unnecessary time trying to get this app to work. Now, I have to get the state agency involved that required the course. Time waster.

Very handy. This app has its pros and cons. For pros, very easy to use, the calendar organizer is awesome, and it is a great way to stay organized. For cons, the files you can upload are way too small and there’s a few glitches.

Pretty good. It functions and does what it needs to do. Unlike PowerSchool or somethin else. Im never disappointed to see a college using this app cuz it’s very easy to use. So far all the colleges I’ve attended use it and it’s wonderful.

App Accessibility. I think you guys could definite make the app easier to use for beginners. I can decode it because i’ve been using tech my whole life. Some of my older classmates struggle to use the app and the website alike.

The app is a app. But if you are in need of some very good and sound Biblical education you have come to the right app!!

Why'd you have to make it harder to find stuff?. FIRST I want to say that I love that the "There are no discussions yet in this forum" button no longer prevents me from expanding the discussion prompt. The reat of my review starts here: Someone woke up and thought: "Let's make the layout more compact and move everything into menus where they aren't just readily available where people don't have to search to find it! :D" Why though? Now it takes longer to find my course content and it's a lot less easy-on-the-eyes than it was before. I'm keeping it at 3 because I still need it for school, when I can find stuff. Even on the Dashboard, there's just an empty space under the classes and you still have to pull out the sidebar to find anything that used to be there except squished into a box that isn't quite as wide as the screen.. Because I sure do love my mostly blank pages. The courses I might be able to get used to. The huge course title covering half the screen and making it awkward to scroll is annoying for now but not enough to complain too much I guess and I'll probabl get used to it eventually. The new layout of the courses isn't that bad, just new. Someone distracting, but not entirely nonsensical for the most part.

Essential for every college student. Love this app!! I wish it didn’t log me out as much.

Find it very useful. The app helps a lot to be able to access your study stuff when traveling or on the move. And I find this a real valuable thing as it helps with keeping your planning on track

Very hard to find items!. I am required to use this app by my school and the UI is extremely confusing. Finding things and assignments is very confusing on the app and sometimes unavailable so I have to open the web address. Please improve this.

Pretty Good. I like this app for the most part but when I try to do some of my assignment that involve me putting phrases in boxes the app doesn’t show all of them so I en up failing the assignment because the app wont let me access all the content

Idea/suggestion. Can we get some sort of confetti or fun thing after submitting an assignment?

This app is always having a difficulty.. When I tell you i've NEVER cried over a school app, I mean it but ever since i've been moved to Moodle i've cried at least 5 times. It's so stressful, I can never login to my account because it'll tell me my password is wrong but HOURS later ill log back in with the same password and it'll work perfectly fine. I'll go days without being able to login and it sets me back SO much. It's the most stressful app i've ever had to use. I'm only a teenager, trying to do my schoolwork, and this app is horrible at helping me out with such. The only thing this app can do is set me back.

Just because of one annoying bug. Every time you open a file and then you finish and click “done”, you experience infinite loading times like I’m playing on a Nintendo switch bro Please fix it.

Easy to navigate. I enjoy this app a lot, I can most things like upload videos and messages easily, however I would give this a solid 5 star rating if they upload size could be increased. 25mg isn’t much and having to create zip files or PDF files that are smaller is kind of a pain the behind. Otherwise, I think this app is a go-to for most academic platforms

Best App. This app is easy to navigate though. It is simple which is all that matters.

Great App. I really enjoy the ease of the App and the ability to do things a bit easier at times. The only thing that is hard is sometimes I prefer to use a computer/Chromebook just because you can jump between pages and have the tabs and spots saved within different parts of the online classes. Other than that though it is fantastic!

Impossible to watch videos. Good app for documents, but terrible to watch videos. Only work on the wesite

User Friendly. Great app ! Definitely don’t need a computer at all. Hopefully, in the future we could access and offline version on deployments.

I like Moodle. Never had many problems, useful, convenient, reliable

Redesign 👍🏽. I am a big fan of the redesign; it makes the app feel and run smoother! The side arrow that follows you through the pages for the side menus, however, is not it and not a suitable placement. I am a student, so this is just my perspective but coming from the old iterations of the app, I would have to default to using the website, and now the app is more usable, and the thing I needed to use the website for I can complete in the app without problem. It would be nice to see better push notification integration. Overall the redesign is giving me high hopes because I thought the creators were just gone and left to fix just simple significant errors, but that’s about it. This is a nice change! Where design is being addressed but as well functionality was not a second thought to design.

Nothing is there!. I have perfect wifi connection, it has to be some kind of glitch! It loads the page and the pictures and the icons but not the mf content bro! Like I’m trying to take a quiz, it doesn’t load nothing, just the title but not the questions or the options and the time keeps going?! It just never loads literally the WEBSITE IS BETTER, why make this app if it’s not going to help us students at all, just another headache smh!

Amazing. I used to use OpenLMS before this app got its redesign, but now this app has saved me from missed assignments so many times!

Something’s wrong. My app recently stopped working. Within the last few days, every time I try to open anything it has the loading symbol and nothing ever loads.

Very convenient. Love that I can just turn my assignments in from my phone🔥

Early Childhood. Excellent, very informative information to help personnel understand the importance of what the law requires and keeping information up to date.

Better than website. I like it even more than the excellent website

Latest update makes app unusable. Hi, longtime user of this app. With the latest redesign many different things uploaded by professors are now no longer available without opening up the website version of the app. It has rendered the app useless and is making me crazy. You cannot view videos anymore in the app or on safari either which is a serious pain. You should not require a laptop browser system just to view videos. It was not always like this either.

Submission notices sent to teachers. It might be helpful to teachers for them to receive a daily notice of new submissions rather than students getting one each time they send in homework. Students already get an instant message with a timestamp of early / late submissions. Several teachers have mentioned that they do not get any type of notification from Moodle. Once again, I’d like to say how much I appreciate the application for phone and tablet.

Didn’t even make it past the log in. It didn’t offer sign up or log in. I had to look for the site I wanted to go into…. I guess that would narrow the field but I got into my classes much faster on the browser page than this app. Pity it’s so bad and has so few users.

Love the app. We use this website and app for ULL. I think it is really handy and helps me out in case my computer isn’t around. I just wish they would add the assignments from the teachers that are due and keep that number on actual app icon for that week. I think that would help as a reminder. And some documents are links cannot be opened on here or connected to safari. Hopefully this is fixed as well. Other than that this website has served as a helper and guide for all my classes.

suggest function. i wanna display submission deadline on Course screen like previous version, these new interfaces make everything more complicated

Moodle for the win. I actually really love this app. Easy to use and understand. Some of my grades don’t come up sometimes and I don’t understand why, but I think that’s on the teachers side not the app. I love that I can use it on my phone and my computer. I don’t want to leave this school ever because I would stress about learning a new platform, because this one is so easy. Thanks Moodle and the people who work hard to develop it!!

Daniel. I feel very comfortable usong the app. Easy to use and understand. I like how you can interact with the homeworks and the ways of adding your documents and all. Also the fast navigation trhough the classes materials and secctions.

Browser > mobile experience. User friendly!

Great Functional App. I love this app! It is so easy to navigate through and easy to keep track of all my classes. I am a full time student so I need to stay as organized as possible. The Moodle apps allows me to do just that! I appreciate how seamless this app is. I hope all colleges use this app!

Smooth sailing. Makes class very easy to monitor

Nice app, use it a lot!. Really handy to sit in my living room and read homework essays from my iPad mini. A couple of comments: - as a teacher, I cant’t edit assignments. At times would like to just add a link to an article into an assignment. (Work around - berated a hidden “Teacher Area” complete with a forum by which I can add notes. Come back later via my PC and fit the notes into assignments. - Screen scrolling is a little painful, as the app tries (too hard) to make the top banner disappear. I’d try for something simpler. But love having it!

Moodle is the best around!. Moodle is the best app for those college students who are always on the go and don’t have/ don’t want to carry their laptop with them. It is so convenient to be able to do your college work on the go without having to drag along a laptop. I have only been using this app for almost a month and it is the best decision I have ever made concerning my college work! Hope this helps someone looking for an easy way to do college on the go without a laptop. 😄

Much better with the update. I’ve been using this app for years. It’s so much better than what it was. This recent update has made it much easier to navigate.

Great communication tool. Moodle has been a lifesaver when it comes to access to my courses and communication within my group. I appreciate all the options I get from the website at the palm of my hand.

I love this app but. I love this app but it wish they can improve on the notifications, it would be nice if they sent out notifications on when grades are posted, or what the current grade for each class is currently

Good app for my classes at community college. This will be a short review, a few words or more I’d write is that the app is easy to use and I’ve been using this app for my classes at community college. I’ve been in community college since 2017- present day as you may not know I failed some courses and had to retake them, so as you can tell by the years I have to retake courses, and I am hoping to graduate from my community college when I meet the requirements. I have written this review on may 6, 2023 and I submitted my assignment for geography that day using the Moodle app. I haven’t come across an issues with the app, all I had to do is set up the Moodle app by providing the web address url to my college campus which uses Moodle for students, staff, and professors, and I’ll have to login into Moodle using my school account and it was easy and accessible to access my college classes and check on them regularly when I need to get some work done. Overall, good app I am hoping the developers keep up with the good work as long they continue improving the app without any issues like crashes, or the app bugging.

A fine app. After being asked to submit a review I can encourage it’s use, it is indeed the real moodle app also used by Lane CC.

Moodle. Moodle is super cool you can chat with your classmates and you can chat with your teacher the only thing that I don’t like about it is that sometimes is like triky with the internet 👍🏻🫶🏻

Invaluable for a dad who can’t just sit in front of a screen. I cannot just sit for hours in front of a screen because I have kids and work. This app allows me to do my readings in bits and pieces as the time comes, not ideal, but better than trying to just stay up late or skipping workouts. The only thing is that I would frequently be moved to the next lesson or back a lesson and lose my place in the current lesson because the side swiping feature is very sensitive.

Yooooo this actually improved my reading. So this app is awesome. It actually improves my work and it’s easy to access. I’m pretty sure there’s no way u can cheat in it!(which is good)

Always need to reconnect. Pretty much every time I use this app, i need to re enter the URL and re login now. This never used to be the case but now it feels like a hassle to use the mobile app - you might as well use the desktop version. Edit: I don’t receive any error messages - it’s simply a matter of my login not persisting? The general gist is I cannot stay logged in between runs of the app (if I open it in the morning and try again at night for example) I am logged out and forced to log in.

Error. “Trouble connecting to your site” for UNSW. Would be great if this could be resolved

Won’t connect. Waste of time. No matter how you try it won’t connect.

Hard to use and always loading. The trimester which I doing now is not showing in the app only those previous trimesters. And also I saw those responses from the team at the apple reviews always ask us to contact them and not even know what to do. Very disappointed with how they manage. Hope everything will getting better and get fixed soon. Thank you.

Losing hope. Installed and uninstalled multiple times and cannot sync to course material. Never had trouble in the past 2 years of using this app. Really losing hope in this app.

A bit OTT don't you think?. This app used to work well, but recently the security settings have gone bonkers. I am signed out every time I switch between apps even if it just for a second or two. I can't even follow article links my lecturers have provided without having to re-enter my credentials 👏 every 👏 single 👏 time I have to come back in. Super inefficient and very very annoying.

Good app. It’s a good application for students.

Apple ios app requires lots of work. The app downloads the files but unable to open with supported application. The institute web still needs lots of improvements. Not a big fan needs plenty work. Not many competitors probably thats the reason. Monopoly....

Won’t connect. Very frustrating, was working fine now won’t connect to server for some weird reason. Not good enough!!!!

Can’t log in. I used to use this app all the time now I can’t even log in for the university of New England.

Error - invalid parameter value detected. I came across this error message while opening the course module. The app won’t allow me to see the content of the course.

Really handy. So much easier than using Moodle through safari or whatever. I really love the forum feature and getting notifications - so much more practical that what I was doing (getting a heap of emails, then ignoring them bc there were too many). There’s only one task I can’t do from the app but that’s fine.

Can’t even access. Can’t get access. First page doesn’t go anywhere??? No “forgot password” or anything like that. Kept refreshing app- but does nothing

It’s okay. One thing that would be nice if fixed would be not having to constantly press show more when your scrolling though that is my opinion.

Loading errors. Cannot access the app from mobile or iPad as there is a loading error when trying to log in.

Navigation issue after new update. After the latest update there is no menu icon on the upper left of the screen to navigate courses, despite text on the page indicating to use this non existent icon. Now there is no easy way to view course information and I am very frustrated.

New version/Update?. What did you do to the App? You broke it. It was working perfectly, and then it wasn’t. It’s completely useless. Please reverse whatever you did so that it works again. Thanks.

Log in?. Every time I exit the app I need to get the URL and log in again, it’s a complete pain and ends up being pretty useless

Login Issues. I downloaded this app so i can see if it’s easier to use than using the browser i have saved to my home screen. However i cannot log in as it says the password is incorrect, eventhough the password is correct when i login to the site on the browser. That’s 10 minutes i can’t get back 😑

Still love the previous version better. For those who say that they can't connect to Moodle, please check with your site admin if they have enable web api and mobile api. This app's interface is good, however as the title suggest, I love the previous version better (my moodle) because on this version you can't upload video anymore. Video is the main reason why we ask our user to install this app. Please bring the video recording function back to this new version! Thanks..

Glitchy on iPhone X. UX is poor on the iPhone X STILL after the update. Images of courses also missing. EDIT: Hey, there are still black bars on the top and bottom of the screen. Each course also doesn’t have a course cover as seen in your images

Useless. Can’t log in properly. ‘Click here if the app does not open automatically’ but won’t let me click anything...

Keeps freezing. This worked well for a few hours then it started to freeze. Deleted it and then downloaded again only to have the same problem. Pity as I really wanted to have this mobile ability.

Completely Useless. Got this app since it was out and all you get is a msg about your institutions moodle isn't up to date. Duh, universities will not spend extra money just to keep their versions up to date. Can you guys make the app available to any version so people can actually use it. And cut out the URL thing please. Make a list so people can pick their institutions from a drop down list instead.

Moodle was great in 2000....but now 20 years out of date. And this mobile app is not much better. Honestly unworkable. (I'm using an iPhone 8) I can read the coursea list and I can see the participants list but nothing else works. Problem retrieving data. I honestly have no idea how this company/platform stills survives in 2018.

New update not great.. Since the latest update I’ve had problems with this app opening. I only updated 2 days ago and it keeps getting stuck on the main Moodle orange screen with a loading circle. My iPhone is updated to the latest iOS. I never had this problem with the previous version. A lot harder to navigate through as well, during the times that it does open.

Worse than on desktop, didn't think it was possible. Have to login via safari...? That's impossible as the website doesn't work on mobile devices. After experiencing 'moodle' on desktop, this is about the quality that i was expecting

No teacher?. 7.sep18 Is there a teacher support, so I can add and edit lessons? It has very limited functions.

A welcome study buddy. I turned to the app after 3 years of online learning using only the university’s LMS. It has been easier to navigate and track where I am in my study. I’m vary happy with the app.

Bad update. Ever since the last update, any time I scroll to the top of a page the screen starts flickering and then resets to a lower point on the page, it makes switching between weekly content really difficult. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, it is the same across all subjects on phone and iPad.

Can’t log in. Hi, I was able to log into Moodle and also tried to reinstall and still nothing.

Has deteriorated since the last update. I do quizzes on my course through Moodle on my phone. It used to be great but now the formatting is all over the place and when checking the answer to question 4 it goes back to Q 1! Not happy

good :). Once you figure out how to use the app properly it’s good. I only use it to upload tasks as a photo, because everything is much easier on the laptop with Moodle; but it works prefectural for photo upload

Can't download to iOS 9.3.6. I need this app. Why can't it be made available to iPads with any iOS versions? Specifically iOS 9.3.6? I'm sure it's not rocket science, can someone please make it happen? Also I went to the support page and I can't get any support for this issue. Is there a contact form that I could use to contact support instead of using the review option here? Help! Please!

New Update, iPhone X STILL not supported!!. The new update looks great but if your on an iPhone X not so much why update but not support the latest phone??!!

Can not connect to the site since updated for 2 month. This app keep saying we have trouble to connect to your site. However, the site work on the browsers. Please fix this. It has been about 2 months but no one fix. (UNSW SITES).

Awesome. Fantastic way to give people (including me) access to our Moodle site. Was working within 5 minutes of discovering the App existed including all website setup, App download and login. Great work Moodle. I have no idea why or how previous comments were so negative.

iPad. Does this thing work on IPad ? On mine it doesn’t , I have OS 12 , it works on IPhone but you cannot read lectures on phone

Review. Well, I think it is the best online learning app aver. Easy to use and simple instructions are given in the beginning of when downloaded. Best app and I rate it a 3 out of 5. This is because it can be slow at time but great for use always. 100% reliable source . #perfect.

It’s amazing how unreliable this app can be. Simple things just take forever to do. It’s not even dependent on my wifi speed it’s just always slow and sometimes just doesn’t do the task. Just throws a random error… unusable

Moodle sucks. One of the worst app/platform for education that I have ever used. It’s down 90% of the time, and when it does work it takes a hour to open. I hope that in the future they can improve moodle.

App broke. Accidentally updated, went from loading for 5 minutes to open anything to loading forever and opening nothing

It’s too slow. It’s to slow Fix IT ! It takes forever to open a 250mb doc FIX IT!! I takes forever for all my classes to load FIX IT!!!!

DO NOT DOWNLOAD. Total waste of time. Accessing noodle source or server is the easy part but beyond that. It will NOT recognize your particular credentials from your institution. If want to refresh or confirm username , it’s function to retrieve your username DOES NOT WORK. Same for retrieving password (I was curious), DOES. OT WORK AS WELL. Jeep’s sending error messages. Again. Stay away from this APP!

Unable to login. Hello I have been trying to log in to my university Moodle but I can’t. It is saying the below stuff in the picture

No support for SAML login. SAML moodle sites are not supported

Need help strange error running app. User get coding error:version.php file missing for component mod_hsuforum and is unable to log in.

Some work. Some classes work but some don’t load properly and I have to go into the website, I also wish you could put more then 3 files into an assignment

Good for phones only. Some of the format like the dashboard looks a bit weird and makes it harder to do what you want but it still works well. There’s also a few things that cannot be done through the app that can be done using the website but unless you plan on only using the app for your entire course, you should be fine. If you’re on the computer, use the website. Of you want to use it on your phone, use the app. You don’t have to login every time which is already a plus but it’s also useful for quick forum assignments IMO

Slow. App is very slow to load and navigate through. Arguably faster to open safari, type in the URL, enter login info, grab a coffee and then access moodle.

Helpful App But Please Review Last Update. Thank you to the wonderful developers behind this app. Always works great and helps me access class content. However since the recent update, my course pages haven’t been able to load properly so I’ve had to use the website on google instead. Would be great if you can look into this technical issue. Très bien fait. Très bien conçu, sauf pour la connexion. J’ai 3 comptes Moodle avec des institutions différentes et je ne pas peux alterner de compte facilement. Donc restez connectés sur votre compte le plus utilisé et ça va aller.

Useful but not ideal. Info presents well, but accessing various aspects of a course in the app is laborious with many layers to go through. A pop-up menu with a table of contents would be really helpful.

Updates. I enjoy this app but I wish that the app updated the same time as it does online.

Unappealing UI, otherwise functional.. I downloaded the app as I had previously been accessing my classes through Safari browser thinking the user interface would be more appealing and efficient than the web version. The app has additional features compared to the web version, except they are either disabled or totally non-functioning. My suggestions would be to incorporate more customization for the user interface, hide disabled functions by default, and even add more colour themes than just light/dark for the user to choose from, as the default the app seems to select is orange (and orange is not the colour of my school or any course).

Please do some updates. I LOVE THIS APP! It’s so useful and helpful for my courses but I think it needs some updates to make the app work better. Sometimes it takes long time to for things to load.

Works for students. The app doesn’t let me modify my classes, or the option is hidden somewhere. It wouldn’t be so bad but when I use the website on my iPad I get pop-ups for the app all the time. It gets annoying very fast having to close an ad for an app that doesn’t work for me every time I change windows.

All universities use it, for some reason. Probably the most broken app around, if you told me this IP was built in 2010 and never updated I would believe you.

Moodle. Hi, I love this app, and its features but one suggestion and request. There was a due date calendar in the Moodle app which has been removed now can we please get that back? Because it was very helpful for the students to check which assignment was due on what date. Now we have to go back to another page to check the due date. Please! Please! Please! Can you get that back for us? #studients

Can’t login using my O365 account. My school only lets you connect with your (school) Office 365 account. This app is therefore unusable for me. Also, the FAQ link that shows up when you press “need help” on the first screen you see (“your site”) doesn’t register as anything but plain text.

Utile. Une application utile pour gérer les cours a l’université. L’interface de l’application est archaïque on dirait qu’on est sur le site web, il faut penser à le rendre plus interactif.

Was hesitant to get, but glad I ended up getting it. This app is simply amazing. It assists me in many ways, it has many features that provide assistance to me. First of all, it gives me notifications one hour before I have things due. As a busy student, this provides great assistance to me. second of all, the app is easy to use and easy to understand. It is not difficult to find your classes you’re or what you need to get done. overall, I think everyone needs this app, and it substantially helps. Thank you.

Horrible. Classes in which you are enrolled on their website only partially transfer to the app. I only have access to the grades at the moment not the actual documents. The calendar events barely work. Do yourself a favour and stay on the web version.

Broken On startup. I’m on iOS 12 and the app is stuck in a boot loop loading my page. Shame because otherwise Moodle used to work quite well on my old iPad.

Useless. It is useless! It doesn’t display the cours content 😏

Companion App. This is the perfect companion app for checking on you classes and handing in work when you are away from you computer. Although it would be nice if videos/recordings could be played.

BROKEN. Since the update, I’ve had to go onto the Moodle website for my school instead of the app because my lectures aren’t loading. This goes for my entire class and the class behind us :(

Dashboard SUCKS. Cannot view or search courses - they do not show up in Recently Accessed which is the only option available. Worse than the website which is honestly quite an accomplishment! Also why is there a Spock hand on quiz navigation 😂🖖🏻

Super confusing. I have had to use this app for school, 3 years in a row and I hate it. It’s hard to understand, it’s there’s too many steps and it’s not easy to navigate.

UI update for the sake of the update. Moodle is useful as a student, and pretty ,much compulsory, and while the previous UI layout was a bit difficult to handle - this one is way worse. The relevant content is less approachable and you need 3-5 more taps to get to where you usually go. The top menus are a nice idea but it would’ve been nicer had I been able to just scroll through them. Having courses as the last option makes it difficult to get around to what you really need, and hiding the sections in each course to another menu you need to open is just useless. This isn’t a UX improvement, it’s a downgrade, big time. There’s a lot more work that needs to be done.

Pretty Useful. I use this app far more than the actual website and it enables me to do 90% of my work from my phone. After learning a few tricks, I’m able to type my essays and assignments, save them as word documents and submit them (so far) with no issue. The only thing that is a little annoying is that I have to login to the actual website for discussions when the teacher uses specific plugins not supported by the app. But it makes online education a lot more straight forward and I highly recommend schools to use this

Mediocre App at best. Moodle mobile used to be convenient. Within in the last two months, moodle mobile has refused to keep log in account for more than a few hours. The point of an app is convenience, and mandating a sign in multiple times a day is not a convenience. This is the last straw for this mediocre app. This complaint is far from the only problem. The other "minor" problems include the increased number of app crashes and app loading freezes that have begun to become increasingly more common.

Was good until most recent update. Recent update removed many features i used often. I deleted it. Will not use it now they ruined it.

MacBook. The app stopped working on my macbok whenever this happened I would normally delete and redownload the app it was no longer in the Mac app store

Very nice application for scholarship. For the starters of prepared student to get a scholarship,this app will make the support.

Not made for instructors. Cannot grade, change assignment due dates or even view submissions. This app is geared towards students, not instructors. There is no dedicated instructors app either, like canvas. Disappointed.

Easy to use for school work. This app is a simple school program that helps me easily check my assignments and schedules. I don’t need to log in every time and I think that is the most useful thing of this app. Also, I don’t need to use WiFi to check some assignments and calendar that I already opened before. Some programs such as Cengage assignment page won’t open through the app, but it does not matter because I can always open that with safari or chrome app.

Navigation. The layout on the mobile app makes navigating it pretty easy, my only complaint is that when you exit a class it asks “are you sure you want to return to dashboard?” Which I think is unnecessary. What is EXTREMELY annoying is that when I’m scrolling through my classes the app is so sensitive that it’ll open the first class I touch even though I’m scrolling. If I have to scroll to a class that I haven’t opened in a while Moodle will open up 3 more classes before I am able to open the one I want because it is so sensitive. I have never had this problem with any other app, and I use moodle on both my iPhone and iPad so I know it’s not my devices that are the problem. It’s also VERY laggy.

Simple enough for Professors and students. The format of Moodle is very simple and straight to the point. There’s no need to dig deep to find what you’re looking for. When a good professor that understands entirely the app prepares their class it’s noticeable. Some professors are new to the platform but since it’s simple enough it’s not imposible for the students to sumbit assigments or tests. I wish the size of the letters could be edited when taking tests because I find it very small.

Cool app. I love the app very easy and interactive to use with split screen.

a change for the worse. This is a major redesign compared to earlier versions, and a step back in many ways. My usual workflow is now completely broken, since they removed the option to open files in different apps. This makes the tool 100% unusable for me. For example I can only view PDFs and PPTs, but can not take them to another app. Since the last update, Clicking any links will result in a "null is not an object" error message- but then the content loads. when websites are opened in moodle, the links within the website don't work and result in a load error.

I’m sad. Please fix it. I from Russia. In previous versions I use this great app, but no a can’t go to my site.

Good app for my studies. Hello there, For anyone who’s reading this including the developers of Moodle. Instead of using the desktop version of Moodle on my computer it feels flexible, and adaptable for me. Because using Moodle allows me to switch to the desktop version on my computer, and the iOS version on my iPad as long I update the app. I don’t have much to share regarding the app for students, staff members, and instructors. It’s been helping me to succeed in my courses, and studies. Unfortunately, I won’t share as much details I won’t bore you with. I failed few classes not because of only procrastination, and few other reasons. I’m wishing parents to stop assuming kids or the younger generation to be on their phones, and computers. I don’t appreciate complaining. Anyways, it was a great app to access and check on any updates, announcements, and changes to assignments I am going to do next, or currently going to work on.

option to integrate calendar. is there an option to schedule assignments and have them post to my phone’s calendar app?

Printing Assigments. I am a new user and thoroughly enjoying this app for my online class (ITTF). Most of the handouts print easily; however, when I try to print my submissions, I run into more difficulties. I have learned to force my printer not to print the last pages (with the dark background) so as not to unnecessarily use my toner. It would be wonderful to have access to a blank page to record questions, insights, and journal entries that could also be printed after each week’s lessons.

Would be nice if you didn’t crash while I was taking exams. Just saying. Now I don’t know if I’ll even pass this class because this app can’t perform basic functions.

Need to updgrade.. Error Invalid Moodle site version. The Moodle app only supports Moodle systems 3.5 onwards.(I got this error)

School 🎉. I use Moodle for college. This is great.

Was working fine until recently. I’ve been using this app version of Moodle for about a year with very few problems, but within this past month I have had a lot more than I normally would. At first I thought it was just my account or my device that was the problem, but a few of my classmates have had the same issues. Often when I try to click a link in the app, the app does not respond. It also takes me back to my login screen and forces me to log back in wayyy more often than it used to. It does this even if I’m actively using the app. I hate to give the app such a low rating, but I hope this review catches the developers’ attention so that these issues can be resolved. Thank you!

Always using and looking forward to updates!!. So, I have been using the app ever since I started college. It helped a lot since the app had the courses and everything you need to participate in classes. Since the iPhone recently got an update for home widgets, I was wondering if Moodle will have as well? I’m really looking forward to that update one day since it has been over 4 months since the last update.

Great app. The app is overall great 😊 but it does lack of some adicional features I mean I really don’t know what but I think it would be really cool if you had different things you could in the app that you can’t do on the website buttt I love the new progress bar for each course it helps keep track of all my activities

Suddenly stopped Working on IPad. I’ve used the moodle app for all of college since I do not use a computer but rather an IPad+keyboard combo. Suddenly now every time I login, I get a login error and the app refuses to load. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times and the problem is still there. I can login from my browser but the moodle app had the great advantages over the browser. From the moodle app you could send documents/pdfs straight to OneNote and just print the pdf in OneNote. Now when I go to the web browser and try to print to OneNote it only prints as a url to the OneNote page. PLEASE FIX THE LOGIN ISSUES!!!

Can’t connect to my schools URL. I cannot seem to get the URL to connect. My college uses Moodle for classes and this is frustrating.

I love the app but please be patient with it. The app may sometimes not allow you to see files, or upload them to your college courses, but it always gets the job done. I high recommend downloading it and setting up with your colleges’ moodle server it’s gonna be a real life savior if you’re like me. I always upload all my works to OneDrive, so all I have to do is give it access on The files app, and I can manage all of my files in one app in case in tuning late and must upload an assignment real fast.

Horrible App. I can no longer view my course. Interface is difficult to navigate. Time waster!!!!

Good as a standard user; not so much as an admin. I like the general layout of this app. Once I set the Admin properties to enable web services I was able to login via LDAP (security issues aside at the moment) with my standard user account and see my courses. There's some continuity issues I'd like to see them improve, but it is an improvement. What I did not like is that though I can log in with my admin account, I couldn't pull up any courses and access the list of users. Thus, it doesn't help me support our Moodle instance in a mobile environment.

Assignments and tests. What is the point of asking for a review while the user is submitting an assignment or test?? It’s not even funny the amount of times this has happened while time is limited for the submission of tests and additionally they have the step of marking if you’re sure you want to post that document after you posted it. Sometimes even letting you think the work has been submitted only to sign in later and for the program to say you’re hours late for delivering the work when you submitted it in time. Submit means submit not draft. When I hit the yes I want to submit button it doesn’t mean oh I'm not so sure about this.

Don't fix what not broke. Why would you remove the to-do list tab... now I don't know what's due today or later.

Just okay. At my previous college Canvas was the website we used. It’s was a lot easier to use and not as confusing.

Improvements are happening. Love to have this app, which makes working on an iPad for school so much easier. I’ve been using the app for years and they’ve made many improvements. Very happy to see split screen now work (this is so important). I wish in file uploads, it didn’t have “shared file” and “file” (this is a bit confusing) but nonetheless, being able to upload my homework from my iPad is a huge convenience. Very satisfied with this app and looking forward to see what improvements they continue to make.

Error Viewing Grades. For over a year, I haven’t been able to view my grades unless I’m on my computer. It’s very frustrating when you’re away from your laptop.
