App draining my batery. Hi, I’ve downloaded the app and have an issue using it: it drains my battery. The device gets warmer and warmer, the battery dies quickly. One or two other apps running in the background, as usual. Iphone se, ios 12.3.1.

New update: reload problem fixed. After installing the new update the problem of pages reloading when switching between applications is finally fixed. Everything seems to work properly now. Thank for the update!

Impossible to cancel. Once you are a subscriber (which is easy) you are then unable to cancel. At least this process is really complicated! Why do I spend time when I want simply to cancel??

Clunky. The app has a lot of technical problems. Takes long time to load- particularly the games crosswords etc. keeps refreshing and the process takes a long time. Generally slow

The app is worse than the web-version.. Have been reading NYTimes for years using mainly web-version, as the app is rather a punishment compared to the web-variant: 1) the app has been constantly turning off unexpectedly, 2) the content (especially that of not main articles) seems to be lagging behind and has not been refreshed as often as new articles appear in the newspaper.

It is not free!. Why one pay for this digital faked newspaper when one can easily find an old-style paper edition.

Cannot unsubscribe, no personalization. It’s impossible to unsubscribe from the app and the website. In the app I cannot set my main feed, poorly able to manage “my feed”, cannot read news by topics or ban some topics. It’s extremely weird. I’m not going to continue paying for the app which makes reading news such a disaster.

Big disappointment. Great idea of the app, but it’s impossible to use because of the reason that most of the buttons don’t really work, even the most important, such as “see my options” for in app subscription. It’s very strange that this app hasn’t been tested properly or tested at all.

Not bad at all. Not bad does't mean "great". Nearly all texts are wonderful, but no search, no dictionary for foreign readers, page looks strange on iPad. Anyway, it's better than reading articles from browser, so it's worth installing.

Супер прога. Отличная программа! Странно, вроде, дисплеи у всех одинаковые, а мне реклама совсем жить не мешает - я ее попросту не замечаю. Не знаю уж в чем тут прикол, но мое субьнктивное таково: нифига эта полосочка не мешает! А так - просто чудо прога. Статьи можно читать по категориям, можно просто самые свежие выбрать. Все просто и понятно. Ссылки на материалы сохранены, видео и аудио подгружаются, флеш правда не стали перегонять для ифона в сьедобное, но уж приложение бесплатное, да и тексты - тоже, так что нефиг -) А, ну и мало ли тут есть кто не в курсе: там все на английском. Новости, интерфейс, реклама :) Мое резюме: отлично!
