Worse than the browser experience. The inability to sort comments by Old is infuriating, and the gesture navigation is hot garbage. Had to delete the app and switched back to just using the browser version.

“Every vote matters”. Fire person behind this idea, really. Latest update brought this idiotic pop-up just to irritate you. Also now in my CUSTOMIZED Home feed there are posts from subs that i’ve never been interested in. And it’s not occasionally placed. It’s 1-2 unwanted posts after EVERY 2-3 posts from subreddits i actually sub’d to. So, how about that - my feed stays mine, and in case i will want to see “wholesome” degenerate with his dog, some tic-toc-type idiocy, “life-changing” quotes, or whatever is popular on reddit right now - i will just go to according tab and be over with it. After an umpteenth time I tried to type a comment and touched the side of the screen in the “wrong” way only for the app to decide I want to go back to the feed, discarding both the position in comments and the draft without warning, I rate it 1 star without any regret. Effective API ban ruins the service. The doubling down on the decision to close the API is ruining what was a decent open community service. The official apps are subpar so it’s bizarre to intensionally make the experience worse for the users. There were so many good options to get monetization from 3rd-party apps yet Reddit decided to implement worst one and double down.

Problems with layout. When navigating from outside, panel with comment input in the bottom of the screen is blank and covers “Read the thread” button, so you can’t click it. Thanks

I can give 5 star after fix. Can’t download any image from app. Fix it pls. This is the only problem

New video player is broken. New video player bothering me so hard that I had to come here and creat a review. You don’t need to change something that works perfectly fine. Reddit mobile used to be better version of browser, now it’s worse, can’t watch videos anymore, cant scroll them, lots of issues after last update.

Worst app. This app is a total joke. It’s totally unusable, lacking basic functionality from its web counterpart. Algorithmically fed content is not something I’ve ever wanted from this. It doesn’t have a sorting for Home! Share menu is the worst, it’s specifically engineered to be unusable, so that you can’t even share an image simply. The app is absolutely devoid of any kind of soul and community that is the only part of Reddit that makes it good in the first place. Destroy third-party apps and then force users to use this abomination. How does this have 5 star rating?

Very, very slow. I love reddit a lot, but the app is just unusable, I have to wait for something like a minute or more to start watching a video. I have a good internet connection and a good new phone, so the problem is not on my side. Not sure about the web version though, didn’t check if the speed is the same there.

This app gives ton of joy. Reddit gives everything you want. News, memes, videos, music, everything.

Reasons. 1)No way to select text to copy. 2)No way to translate comments inside the app. You can’t even copy the comment to insert it into google translate, because of 1)

It was going fine. It was going amazingly well, i found a few fandoms i loved and read them a lot, but weird and upright terrifying things kept popping up on my home page and i cant just read my home page in peace, in over all great app if it wasn't for this, i really liked it the first few weeks.

Great platform, abysmal UX design for the app. I love Reddit, but they need to find new guys to handle the design of the app. Absolutely horrendous. Who in their right minds though it was a good idea to make images dismissible by swiping vertically and then make videos dismissible by swiping horizontally? I’m sick and tired of these confusing design choices. The video player especially is one big mess that cannot be handled even remotely intuitively. Reddit, I beg of you, fix this atrocity.

Removed after a month of spam. The notifications and recommendations algorithm is terrible! For a month I got random notifications from random communities I never visited or subscribed, for a month I opened each one of them to disable each one of them separately, but it’s on and on and on. On 1 useful notification I get 5-6 totally irrelevant to me. And there’s no way to control it.

The font is too small. The font size has become too small with one of the recent updates. It’s difficult to use now, and there’s no option to change the font size in the Settings. Fix it, it was a good app otherwise.

Can't hear sound. I can't hear sound in videos. I know that there's tumbler to mute videos, quiet mode, but even when it set off, I still can't hear anything.

It's just BAD generally.. Ngl if i say it's THE MOST laggy, buggy, non-intuitive working app I've ever seen. It stutters often in comment section, freezing till it turns off, and the fact you browsing through posts in full screen returns u to the post u were starting to browse with - just ridiculous.

Tap to collapse. Tap to collapse ruins reading expience. You have to always keep that in mind that tapping is dangerous when scrolling, otherwise all the reading progress will be lost. The other bug is that Swipe to collapse doesn't disable tap to collapse

Garbage community with terrible mods. Whenever you get banned and you ask for a reason - mods are reporting you as a harassment and your account is being blocked, either temporarily or permanently. Devs just don’t care about the ipad version of the app. Some bugs are not being fixed for like a year lol.

“Open in App” in browser never opens the app. When Reddit results show up in Google, the website prompts me to continue in the app. But the app never opens up. Instead it leads me to App Store, where I click “open” and need to start my search from scratch. Many times I end up using Reddit in browser, although I like the app.

Сидим старом и на багах.. Я ставлю 1 звезду и могу это обосновать. Я понимаю, что это старый форум и тд и тп, у него есть своя ЦА которая привыкла ко всему и никто не хочет изменений но! Этот сервис полностью устарел от и до, и что смешно он имеет баги в самых заметных местах. В чем устарел и баги? 1. UI/UX - ни то ни другое не соответствует современным стандартам. 2. Отсутствие социальных функций в 2020, почему нельзя добавлять пользователей в друзья и тп? Почему я должен мемы и прочий контент пересылать в какие-то другие сервисы, чтобы просто поделиться ими с друзьями? 3. Баг с кнопкой upvote, когда выкладываю пост, то при обновлении он выставляет не то колво upvote, например у меня их 3 он их с каждым обновлением поста то 0 делает, то 1, то 2 и снова 3, потом снова 1 или 2. Это очень странно. 4. Цветовая палитра UI выглядит устаревшей. 5. И еще много других вопросов.

Reddit killing off competition. This app blows. And now with the recent API price hike, it won’t be possible to replace it with a more complement alternative due to the new pricing being unaffordable for everyone. I’m not the only one who is upset about this decision, and many subreddits will be going dark to protest, so I hope Reddit reconsiders this.
