every ride is problem. better don’t waist your time and get uber app which provide good service and no bugs. every ride by careem is a trial, drivers are rude and can took another passengers, trying to cheat, navigating could bring your to wrong location, etc. every time it’s only a stress!

Bad service with only charging. Basically each time I order the driver come 2 km always and I have to walk looking for him. Every time driver on the road creates the dangerous situations and I wander how they get driving license. The application itself very uncomfortable and confusing in terms of writing address. They charge you if driver is waiting 2 mins but if the driver comes 5/10mins late - nobody charges the driver. The way they speak to you and treat is something unbelievable, you will be always guilty and they never use brain to find solution if they don’t have change or gps stopped.

Cant validate number. Install the app, add number and receive “rate limit reached” immediately. Try second number from other country - no sms or calls are goin thru. Same result. I will be in Dubai tomorrow and have bo idea how i will commute there.

I lost 230 AED. I have ordered a delivery from a shop to a hotel. Explained very detailed what and where to buy. Careem system took 200AED to purchase the item in a shop, I knew it would be enough. Result: order cancelled, “captain” says call to support. Support doesn't reply in chat. Also careem took 13AED and marked my order as a food delivery. This is the worst customer service ever!

!!!. Today (2 March 2024) my wife was late to the flight at 9am due to the fault of the captain Zain Ul, Lexus 25238 who took the wrong routes and didn’t follow normal GPS route. Instead of 25 min the ride took over one hour. In addition, the car stopped at parking but should have stopped at departure gates, so my wife had to run to the departure level from parking. Because of this delay, my wife was late to the flight and to the important meeting. She had to take next flight for which only one business class ticket was available for AED12,000; she had to spend this money. Who will reimburse these expenses? Why does such a badly qualified driver work in comfort class? Please pass this information to the directors of the company. Please take the strictest measures in relation to the captain up to dismissing him and canceling his licence. Please inform me which measures were taken with respect to this issue. I am going to approach the government entities and police so that they look into this issue.

Application looks raw. Cars on map updating their position with low frequency, pathfinding works strange, car icons can move backward or sideward, looks funny. One driver couldn’t cancel his ride, said there is no such option, asked me to do it. If it’s not a kind of driver’s cheating to save money, it s a bug.

Disgusting customer service. They have no or limited customer service. In my case, the driver never arrived, he then cancelled the trip debiting my card, and then there is no customer service number to complain. Dishonesty, scam. I downloaded app being in Russia as planned to go to cruise from Dubai. Just looked how much cost the way from the Dxb to cruise terminal and they write that I have to pay 100aed. What??? I am in Russia. I didn’t order the car. They blocked me as I didn’t want to pay for a ride I didn’t order.

Spent 5000+ aed. I’m pretty experienced in using Careem, spent for one year more than 5000 aed for it. Generally almost all delivery and taxi services always works perfectly. One I used covid test and cleaning and it also worked nicely. One time I had to go to the support and that works poorly - phone only and can’t control the application issue ticket

Thieves. I payed for my ride, but driver had problems with cashbox and I payed again. Then payment passed twice, of course. He said, that help center will return me my money back. BUT NO - they just tried to get rid of me with “we don’t have an option to refund money back, thanks for understanding”. They stole it and get away clear. Scammers!

Losing money. The delivery guy left the food on the floor in some public area without letting me know and left. When I called the support to ask the delivery status - it took quite a long time since they responded the call - they reached the driver and said that he left the order at the ATM machine. Obviously, when I checked that place - the food was not there. They are refusing to proceed with the refund - the total lost is 188AED. I will stop using this app.

Scam!! They steal money. Don’t use.. I used this app to order food. They charged my card for the order. For an hour the app was showing order updates and in the end it reported that the order was delivered successfully. It’s not possible to contact the support though the app, because it simply doesn’t work! When I called them, a guy who could barely understand English promised a refund to my bank card within 3 days, but none was made. How can this app even be in the App Store?

Worst “quick” delivery service. Used to be an amazing delivery service but now you gonna wait for 40-60 minutes instead of 15 for your order to be delivered. And this is happening constantly now, so disappointed.

Poor locating facilities and communication option. You location on the map functions poorly. I cannot put the address of the pick up, only put a pick up point on the map. If a passenger has no idea where he is on the map it becomes impossible to set up a pick up location. Another option to save the situation could be the communication with the drivers. But it is nor working either. Your drivers either not reachable by the phone indicated for him or never ever read the chat. All my cancelled rides were due to these reasons. One was due to the captain’s initiative because he cancelled the ride, (2 February), was unreachable and never tried to communicate with me.

Часто обманывают. Сами такси в целом работают, иногда бывают сбои, но не часто. А вот по деньгам обманывают. Купил подписку Careem+, дающую 10% кэшбэк за первые 10 поездок. За мелкие поездки начислили, а за большие по 300-400 AED не начислили, хотя при заказе машины было указано, что будет начислено 10%. Поддержка разбираться не хочет вообще, говорят, что для того чтобы моя оплаченная подписка работала нужно и промокод вводить. Но ведь за те поездки, в которых бонусы начислили, я не вводил промокод. Поддержка бесконечно шлет мне отписки, мол я дурак…

Worst taxi service in the world. This taxi service is only for people with very stable psyche. Drivers don’t know the city, you risk to pay twice more because they skip the turns. Also, they come to different locations to pick you up even when you put a specific point on the map of where you are waiting for them. Every second ride I have problems with careem taxis. That is too much. So many opportunities to improve the service but the company doesn’t care and doesn’t do anything.

Taxi. We drove from the Sheraton Jumeirah Beach Hotel to IMG Word on Careem. The driver took a detour. Instead of 77 dirhams, 106 were paid. I forgot my phone in the salon, so I requested 100 dirhams for delivery.

Poor customer support. Careem had an issue with sending the regular invoice with details on the item breakdown and delivery address for my company expense purposes. After multiple from my side they issued a .pdf with 1 line in with the total cost and no info mentioned above (and their standard emails). After my request to do it right - “we can’t” Well, I can’t use the app any more with such an approach to a very simple request

Unnecessary application. Drivers ignore if you are ordering a ride. It’s showing that there are many drivers in the area nearby, but no one of them responds. Even at 3 pm (when it’s not busy time at all) the app couldn’t find a driver for 40 minutes.

Careem credits - Looks like a skam. drivers often drive incorrectly on purpose. Twice they incorrectly deducted money from my Karim Pei loans. I pay for all trips with cash, but for some reason the application additionally debits my account's credits. they still do not want to return them, they demand a trip receipt.

Never use their service.. Never use their services. Horrible drivers, u professional. You will order the taxi and they will leave without you with another customer, so you will stand in the middle of street by yourself struggle. Also app locating you wrong, so you always have to correct it. Otherwise, you will have look for driver all around the area. Maybe he will come to another region and will not be able to reach you. And after that they will charge you cause…he couldn’t find you! Horrible.

Poor ride service. 1. Actual price is always higher than the "promised" fare range upon ride request. This is a big disadvantage compared to other ride companies which tell you EXACT fare for a ride (i.e. Yandex Taxi). 2. App often does not know where a car is located. It is kms away and next moment "the driver has arrived". 3. Careem cancelled Rewards programme without warning and all reward points became useless. Still, Careem keeps awarding points which accumulate on my account. Same with Careem Gold. 4. They charge peak fares without warning. Check their help page: 1) first you agree to peak fares, 2) then to the actual peak factor - two steps where you should click the button before you order a ride. In reality the app does not have any of that. 5. I have never been able to sign up for Careem plus - it is not in the Settings. Careem support claims this should work. Well, it does not.

Awful. Ужасный сервис доставки еды и такси. Вы будете бесконечно платить за то, что таксист уехал, а курьер просто не доставил вам ваш заказ! Кроме того на вашем балансе будет образовываться минус! Поддержка никак вам не поможет и на стороне курьеров и доставки. Лучше переплатить в три раза, заказав другое такси и воспользоваться прямой отставкой еды из ресторана. Wrong location setting in quick groceries. In quick groceries delivery address always resets to my current geo location and not my saved addresses with all details. Current geo is always wrong and sometimes it’s impossible to switch because app is so slow. I’m big fan of Careem but I have to switch to other grocery delivery services because of this bug.

Drivers can steal you. Support ignoring dangerous situations when driver steal you and just close you report issue without answer

Awful service, better use Yango !!!. Drivers are absolutely not professional, they can use wrong turn and charge you, can reach the pick up point and cancel the ride last second, and will also charge you for waiting for them. The client support is always telling it’s the client who is wrong. The service is not client oriented at all. Use Yango, it’s much better !!!

If your order is not delivered you never find it or receive refund. They say your order is delivered but it’s not and there is no way to find it or to prove it or get refund. They just say “delivered”.

Reasonable experience in Dubai. Signed for a two week plus trial while we were on vacation in Dubai. Cost of the drives was lower than in the Uber app. With the plus refunds we had it was very good. Important to note that the cheapest fare is not always on the top, you need to scroll the options to find it. Had one situation when a driver did not arrive to the collection point and did not respond my texts. I was charged 12.5 AED for him cancelling the trip eventually. Chatted with the support team and the cancellation fee has been refunded to my account. One disadvantage is that they put hold on a bank card and do not release extra funds immediately after the trip is finished. This happens 1-2 days later, but they explained that this is because I used a foreign card. Otherwise we did not have major issues. It did save money for us.

Beware of scammers!. Carefully! The application takes a double payment when choosing cash payment. And you will find out about it after the trip. In my case, even triple: I booked a ride in Dubai with cash payment, but despite this the application tried to charge the payment from the card, when this failed, the status of the ride changed to canceled. Horrible Support. I don’t like the support options at all, there is not agent to talk to, or email to contact through, no phone number to call in case of trouble. I tried to get a taxi 5 times in a row, with no success, and each time the app held my money for the ride again and again in a temporary hold, never seen my money back since then, 50 USD wasted, no service was provided, the money was taken… the worst possible experience. I don’t recommend using this app.

Very poor app. App interface not streamlined - a million clicks is needed for every action, not available to connect with customer support when order already placed.

Should be made more user-friendly. Taxi options are hard) 1/ Constant error when you try deleting favorite locations in the suggestions (suggestions aren't removed) 2/ Irritating pop up message about Careem plus all the time talking 1/15 of the screen 3/ 50% of the screen vertically is taken by the ride details and the route itself is presented above the as a tiny line on a global scale which is so inconvenient to see the way, as if I go from one continent to another. The route map should be seen at a larger scale without much zooming in.

Careem, it’s time to improve. Taxi comes anywhere but NOT in the designated location, driver doesn’t respond neither on chat, nor on phone. Help desk closes the ticket in half a minute before customer types a response. Driver cancels the ride, and still the customer is charged for cancellation!! Experienced this TWICE today in the morning, got late everywhere and payed 30 AED for nothing. Gross. I am pretty sure that most likely this is NOT drivers’ or service agents’ fault, but the App issues only. I’m using Careem taxi services daily, it’s the same location where I go from every day. This level of service is clearly not enough and there has to be a major improvement. There are new players in the market and they will quickly acquire your share if this is continued in the same manner.

Poor and disappointing experience. I had experience with an abundance of that sort of apps but that one is way worse if compare with the same yandex go. The navigator is always collapsed and ridiculous. This app is very hard for usage if you are tourist because you can’t refill your Careem pay with international cards and without verification of your Id which is impossible if it’s not Emirati. Also I had horrible experience when I called a hala taxi and the captain was hiding from me and I was not able to connect with him. He didn’t take phone calls and was ignoring messages. He cancelled ride by himself but I was charged. UPD:after a long story they finally refunded that amount on my card

Good. Perfect app for days when it is really lazy to go outside or it’a just way to hot. Taxi? Np . Food? Np. Although, when you leave tips for taxi drivers they will be deducted upon next ride. Which is weird :(
