I recently had a very disappointing experience with the WizzAir app, which led to an unexpected loss of €159.18 from my account due to expiring funds, with no prior warning or notification from WizzAir. This situation arose after I had to cancel my refundable ticket (PNR: CB2MUL) due to a change in my travel plans and chose to receive a refund in my WizzAir account, believing I could use it for future flights. Despite the app's ease of use for booking and managing flights, this incident has revealed a significant lack of transparency and communication regarding the expiration of funds. There was no visible alert or mention in the app or via email about the funds' three-month expiration policy. This oversight not only cost me financially but also has severely impacted my trust in WizzAir. It's critical for users to be fully informed about all terms and conditions, especially those that could lead to the forfeiture of money. I urge WizzAir to improve their app by ensuring all policies are clearly communicated and visible within the app to prevent future customers from facing similar situations. Transparency and customer trust should be paramount, and currently, the app fails in this regard.

Потеряете деньги за билеты!. Если вы купили билеты через это приложение и ещё не использовали , и хотите купить дополнительные билеты, то не делайте этого никогда! Приложение перебронируют ваши неиспользованные билеты , тем самым заплатите дополнительные деньги! Информации нигде нет , как надо действовать. Представитель компании Wizz мне подтвердил , что действительно приложение работает некорректно, но все жалобы только через клиентскую службу в письменном виде и ответ через 30 дней! Представитель посоветовал бронировать через сайт. Клиентоориентированность 80 lvl. Не связывайтесь !

Не подключалось к интернету. При необходимости регистрации в аэропорту Бове, приложение не подключалось к интернету, в связи с чем пришлось платить за билет

Ужасное приложение и сама авиакомпания. Я специально сделала онлайн чек-ин, чтобы не платить обдираловку в аэропорту, и что вы можете думать? В приложении не дает скачать бординг пасс!!! По нажатию на кнопку «скачать бординг пасс» тебе предлагают скачать пдф файл, где большими буквами написано: «ЭТО НЕ ПОСАДОЧНЫЙ ТАЛОН» Что за лохотрон? Звонки в авиа компанию платные 70руб/минут, в поддержке отвечает бот, живой поддержки нет И билеты не дешевые))) 160$ по европейской части евразии, а головняка на все 500$ в итоге. Очень очень плохая компания

Проблема с доступом. Здравствуйте. Вот уже неделю не могу зайти ни в приложение ни на сайт, все блокируется. Из-за этого сорвались запланированные перелеты. В службу поддержки написать не реально, сайт даже не грузит в браузере, помогите решить мою проблему

Нельзя сохранить посадочный как файл и отправить по e-mail. Сколько можно изощряться?? Правильнее наверное - извращаться. Скупердяйство и человеконенавистничество - это WizzAir.

Сложности при бронировании. Приложение долгое время не запускалось. Сроки действия документов произвольно изменялись системой бронирования.

Scammers. I want to share my sad experience and a story about scammers in Wizz Air. On February 23, 2022, I bought tickets of my beloved Wizz Air to my beloved Hungary in the application (booking N937PL and AI2URK). I paid for the tickets with a Russian bank card and waited for the flight. We all know what happened on February 24. The war began, Wizz Air canceled flights to Russia for reasons beyond the control of the airline, and VISA and Mastercard disconnected Russian banks from the system of transfers and card transactions. On March 08, 2022, I issued a refund from the Wizz Air account, and in the refund request I indicated the details of my European card (ZCUWKC) for the transfer. What happened next? Wizz Air ignored the information about where to send the money and issued a refund to a Russian card (which does not work due to the fact that Mastercard left Russia). I wrote to Wizz Air support 2 times and Vlad Krivoshei's support specialist refused to help, claiming that the money was sent to me. However, THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE, because the bank to whose card Wizz Air sent the money FELL UNDER SDN SANCTIONS and DOES NOT work with Mastercard. I called the support hotline 2 times, which is NOT free of charge. They were rude to me, they said that THEY COULD NOT HELP ME and that Wizz Air did not care about the transfer problem, Wizz Air was not interested that I would not receive my money, and a representative of Wizz Air said: you can consider this a fraud. Gorombák voltak velem, azt mondták, hogy nem tudnak segíteni, és hogy a Wizz Air-t nem érdekli az átutalási probléma, a Wizz Air-t nem érdekli, hogy nem kapom meg a pénzemet, a Wizz Air képviselője pedig azt mondta: ezt csalásnak tekintheti. After buying a ticket I was have to pay once again to change date for correct. :( you have to pay attention when you buy tickets with this app and check everything even not twice, but 3 or four times.

Приложение ужасное!. Пыталась с приложения оплатить багаж, за сутки несколько раз. Так же я не смогла этого сделать с сайта на мобильном браузере. В итоге я смогла оплатить багаж только в аэропорту, в 2 раза дороже! Я потеряла 30 евро из за этого приложения. Никогда больше я не выберу для перелетов wizz air!!!!

Your application sucks. 3D security doesn’t work if you try to approve payment on the same device. Password reset is not working at all, web site also unhelpful in case of password change. You are really stupid about security but you do not care about customers.

Не то что хотелось. Вышло новое обновление - добавить посадочный талон в wallet 😂 2023 год !!! Постоянная проблема при бронировании , если приложение свернуть на любом из этапов бронирования, то приходится начинать все сначала. Очень неудобно , когда это происходит на моменте оплаты. Я данные карты копирую с интернет банка. Сделайте оплату по Apple Pay. Хотя какой там Apple Pay, если только wallet добавили 😅

Can’t change the name of the passenger. I couldn’t change the name of the passenger because app thinks it’s the same. In my case when I bought a ticket I typed the name of the passenger in case like: “Mark Wahlberg” and then I can’t change it to: “MARK WAHLBERG” when I need to check-in with my passport data on “travel documents” step, because the app and website gave me matching error if I tried to change the name of the passenger in “Manage flight” and they thought that it’s the same name, but it isn’t. There is no information about that your passenger name when your book it will be used in the same case as you typed when you book your flight and automatically as your name from travel documents in the future when you will check-in and then you have to pay fee for this UI/UX mistake, because you have only three options to fix that: Call to callcenter (in my case by tariff 1.5EUR/min) an try to change it. Change your name twice. The second change will be 60EUR fee for each flight, in my case it could be 120EUR fee. Cancel your flight and book it again when your give a refund, in my case it is about 50EUR fee with Wizz Flex subscription. I choose the third one option and now I’am waiting a partial refund, but I still don’t understand why I have to pay for changing of typing case. My experience shows that the client pays for non-obviousness when filling out data and errors in an application and website. Please, notify your customers when they book flights that the name of the passenger it is same name (from passport) that you automatically fill when the customer will use on check-in in “travel documents” step. This field must be filled accurately in the same case as used in the travel documents.

Possible enhancements. Hello! I would like to give some feedback about the process of booking of additional services. 1. Please change inbound/outbound flights here to other wording which is more obvious for non-native speakers. Google didn’t help in a context of aviation domain. Why to change in point #2. (On the other screens it’s obvious because the dates of the flights (both) are present). 2. When I reached the screen with baggage booking (mob version), the baggage/cabin luggage/priority booking for the outbound flight is not greyed out. Yes, radio buttons don’t permit to do a selection (deselection is disabled), but the colours of the elements are vibrant which in combination with unclear what is inbound and outbound flight made me tap several minutes to understand for which flight I should select the baggage. Very confusing. 3. When the process is finished there is no confirmation banner. To understand whether the baggage is booked and booked for correct person I had to start the process from scratch to see what is in booking already. So, instead of just book in 3 clicks + payment I had to google, poke around to understand what flight to select. I would say that it’s not user friendly.

Stealing money from Wizz card. They are stealing money from your Wizz card. Be careful when refunding: your money will silently disappear from your card and when you will notice that they will creatively invent 101 reason why they are right and you’re not. Wizz sucks.

Не вернули деньги, плюс списали баллы с аккаунта. Никому не советую пользоваться этой компанией. Я купила билеты с возможностью возврата (самый дорогой вариант), когда я не смогла полететь и попыталась вернуть деньги оказалось что вернуть деньги нельзя, можно только зачислить баллы на аккаунт!(!!!) Так и тут оказалась засада, через 90 дней они аннулировали баллы!! То есть я должна была обязательно купить билеты за 90 дней? А если я пока не хочу никуда лететь? Верните мне мои деньги!

Доплата 75$ - ЗА ЧТО???. Как оказалось, у авиакомпании Wizz Air хитрое и недешовое условие при посадке на рейс: Если у тебя обычный билет (эконом), то за 3-4 часа до посадки (но не ранее 24ч) необходимо пройти онлайн регистрацию на их сайте или приложении. Причем это условие описано мелким шрифтом, размытыми фразами в электронном письме-напоминании о приближающемся рейсе. Вывод: Даже если ты купил билет на рейс, то всё равно можешь не улететь, если тупо у тебя не оказалось возможности прочитать письмо или денег для доплаты. Ребята - молодцы! Хороший способ заработать на доверии людей и увеличении объема пассажиропотока.

Fraud. I bought a club membership. But registration at the counter is a fee of 50 euros. Online check-in closes very early. The wizzair company is a fraud. Don't think you buy a cheap ticket here. You will end up spending more money than any other company. I wish him to burn in hell.

App does not start. App freezes when starts - o only seee the background image of a plane and nothing else. Reinstalling application/ phone reboot does not help: iOS 10.3.3 iPhone 6 Please fix ASAP, as I cannot even check in or see my flight information. Your mobile web app is terrible and limited too.

Very bad experience of checkin. Check-in process is terrible. Unlike with other airlines, you need to fill very detailed information on each passenger. I travel with a family of 4. Entering details, such has date of birth, passport issue and expirity is very inconvenient, as the date picker is in the bottom of the screen. It offered to scan my passports. Requested permission for that. Once it was granted - you need to start over. And finally, that scanning showed an error and couldn’t scan the documents. After all, doesn’t allow to save these documents of the team members.

Issues with mobile app. Several times I tried to book a ticket using mobile app, but each time after confirming my payment with 3D secure nothing had happened and I had to repeat all the steps and do the booking via browser - each time ticket price was higher. App update didn’t help at all. I was using iPhone 14 pro.

iOS 12.0. After iOS update (to 12.0) app doesn’t work. Crashed on launch.

The app is loosing the state after switching. The app is unable to remember any progress. If you switch to any other app, you'll need to start whatever you were doing from scratch.

Doesn’t work after the update. The app is great, but after the update it doesn’t work at all on iPhone SE. Only the start picture appears and then the app closes. Also it will be awesome to make possible pdf-ticket downloading after the checking-in.

Awful service. Absolutely pointless app since it's not even possible to check in because of the date of birth bug which they don't bother to fix. Impossible to reach to support - they never pick up. First ever trip with Wizzair and the last one.

Be careful!. This company is stealing your money. If a flight is cancelled, they offer to transfer money for a ticket purchased under a special more expensive offer to a Wizz account. However, it does not say anywhere that you can use this amount to purchase the next ticket only until a specific date. They don’t send a notification, they just write off the money and that’s it. In response to the complaint they send a standard letter saying that they cannot do anything. Do not use this airline!

Always closes. Terrible experience. I’m not able to purchase tickets. Even I switch for bank App to copy card number WizzAir closes and I have to start from the scratch. And with extra 10$ over the price I had .

Online registration server error. When I tried to register for the flight online approximately 10 hours before the flight I was told that some server error has occurred. I concerned that it is a global issue, so in the airport I won’t be charged any money. Unfortunately I had to pay even more than my initial flight costed. Quick research on internet has shown that it is a wide-spread problem, so Wizz Air is aware of it and decides to ignore passengers and charge them extra momey. I highly don’t recommend to use Wizz Air for flights.

Scammers. I was traveling to Paris and back to Budapest. The flight to Paris went smooth, because I was using different airline. Online check in with antigen test, easy boarding, overall great. When I was returning with Wizz Air, after this flight I’ve decided that from know I only travel by bus. I couldn’t check in online because I don’t have a EU vaccination certificate so I couldn’t choose my seats. (at the check in they didn’t request my vax certificate) So, because I couldn’t make a reservation online, I had to pay 35€ for both people traveling. And because everything was so unprofessional, we had to ask staff around the airport where can we pay this fine. As a result I passed the security and came to the gate 10 minutes before the end of boarding. Almost lost a flight and lost 70€ because of this cr*ppy app. I hate wizz air

Online registration crash. Online registration is not working with “invalid contact details” error even though all contact data is filled many times. I tried from app, mobile version on Safari, 2 laptops with different systems and nothing worked. Technical support was busy during all 4 hours I tried to reach them, contact line is only for emergency. I needed to pay for airport check in despite this is totally companies’s fault. Awful and frustrating experience.

Issue with passport date of issue. There is a bug with passport date of issue. While filling in passport details for checking in, I can’t select any day before current date for this field from the picker. So, I will have to use web site and that is quite uncomfortable from iPhone.

Still haven’t received compensation for denied boarding. I was denied boarding in July 2023. Created a claim for compensation right after that. It’s been over half a year now and I haven’t received my compensation yet. Every time I call support they just tell me to wait over and over again. It’s outrageous. Worst customer service ever.

Worst airline I’ve seen. The online checkout closes 3 hours before departure. To check in in an airport you need to pay an extra fee. In my case a ticket cost $90, and I had to pay $50 just to check in in the airport. Besides the limitations for hand luggage are stricter than in every other airline I’ve flown with. I ended up paying $120 extra on top of $180 tickets price. This is a total scam and I virtually don’t see any reason to close the checkin so early besides scamming you for more money. Will not fly again. Hope someone will sue them and they go out of the business.

Never in time. You just can’t ever be sure that the flight is going to be in time. Strongly do not advise to use this company if that’s a connection flight - you have highhh chances to miss next one then Besides that, the flights are okay, but you have to be ready for three extra hours at the airport

The app restarting. The apps is restarting, once I leave the app! So, I already found out the flights, full-filled all the required info about the passengers and almost proceed to checkout, the app decided to restart because I leave and open the bank app to copy my card number that is required for payment! All my info was lost, and once I tried to do the same again, the tickets price grow for 100$! Great service !

Can't login. Very funny! I can't even login to the app! My password is 16 letters long. I can't input it, can't copy it - my IPhone SE just freezes! The worst company. 5,5 hours flight delay as usual. As a compensatory “lunch” 7days croissant, small waffle and water. Horrible, better pay more for another company and save your nerves and time, especially if you have transfer after the flight, cause my transfer was completely ruined and I only lost money.

Charges more than should. Breaking the law!. Basically it is not right when you show on price but charge more due to exchange rate conversion to HUF currency. If you show the price in local currency then you should charge this amount. If you charge more than it is law violation!!

Stop selling tickets in my country. I’m from Russia! And right now when I try to buy a ticket it shows me that I could do this from October 3rd. There is some kind of bug. Because I live in terrorist country that attacked their neighbours. I really think that as long as war goes on we shouldn’t fly to other countries.

Time lag when the flight was cancelled. Dear team! I would like to say that it was huge time delay between sms and email informing that flight was cancelled and updates in app and website. I cannot rebook my flight thanking into account that all next booking (bus, hotel) where already paid. Also, I would like to say that it is not the first time (previously, the time lag was 2-4 hours), but today it is more than 10 hours (and my flight was in 23 hours from the sms received) and it is still not working. So sad that my vacation, that I waited for many months, was spoiled… I would not recommend your company

Feedback. 1. Was trying to do the check in via app. At the last step got a pop up “there is an unexpected error” and a clickable button “GOT IT”. If this is a joke then really not the best one :) 2. Taking into account that I was not able to perform one of main functions the feedback is not very good. 3. The app itself is quite usable and easy to understand ( good visibility of steps to do to complete the task ). A couple of things to consider: 1. Customize date picker. There is some inability to change month if you have not changed the year which is not obvious. Almost always by scrolling the date you are changing the month as well :( Date picking is one of the core functions , it should be usable. 2. Manage error handling wording.

Good idea - bad realization. Meet huge problems as for me. Now app quite often show error messages: Sorry to ask, but we have detected unusual activity from your side… That leads me to impossible check-in, and even worse for business I can’t buy any additional services like seat or baggage. I’m understand you trying to fight with bots and everything related to this, but it’s makes almost impossible to use services of your company.

Nice to have. I had a situation when I was late to check in, so I was charged for it. It would be great to have a reminder to check in to a flight. You have so many promotional push notifications but don’t have this reminder.

It will not keep your data during the flight registration. If you will switch between the apps during the flight registration — you will loose all the data. Best experience ever. Thank you wizz for customer centric approach.

Scammers. Scammers. I had few flights booked and they were canceled because of Covid. They returned the funds on my Wizz air account and I kept them there to use them for my future flights. But just now I have checked my balance and I have 0 there! I didn’t know they keep my credits only for 2 years and then they just burn out… they didn’t send me any email or notification my credits were going to be burnt out soon. So I just lost my money… I was talking to their assistant but she didn’t help me at all, was just saying she is sorry and so on… I am very disappointed and not gonna book any flights by Wizz air in future cause I don’t trust them now.

Wizzair hates Ukrainians. They denied boarding for my retired dad and until today did not return his money. Guys, comon, he is retired refugee who was just trying to get to his family ALONE after all bombing in Ukraine. No one helped him and most of our emails are ignored. I think it’s because we are Ukrainians by origin. I can’t contact anyone, call center just eats my money and say sorry miss we don’t know. All my emails are ignored since October. I thought Wizzair is our friend. I spent a lot of money with this company before..

“You are offline” when looking for a ticket. While searching for the ticket, you are offline message appears on iPhone. The ticket cannot be purchased via app, only via website. Please fix it asap. Thanks

Плохой сервис. В приложении есть непонятные, криво сделанные или не сделанные моменты. Например, если нужно отменить один из билетов в брони на несколько человек. Эти моменты никак не узнать без обращения в кол-центр. А звонок платный. Хорошо устроились. Дерут деньги на ровном месте за свою кривую работу. Ну и в остальном по сервису - всё максимальный эконом.

Хорошо. Я пользовалась чатом поддержки и созданием диджитальной посадочной карты. Все было хорошо, и приложение красивое.

Бездушная компания. Работают как роботы, нет возможности на ошибку! Программа очень слабая, возможно случайно забронировать не то что нужно, что у меня и получилось в итоге и я забронировал не на тот день, К сожалению не было возможности отредактировать без доплаты несоразмерного штрафа, или дозвониться (телефоны не работали), а на почтовых адресах вообще получал ответ о рассмотрении через 30 дней (а мне вылетать через 3) и о том что не туда пишу. Короче в итоге дозвонился на следующий день после многих попыток найти нужный телефон но даже по телефону ответил какой-то индус который работает в Колцентре и отвечал мне дежурные фразы (о том что не может быть ошибки что программа работает отлично и это моя проблема, я даже пытался ещё раз через день набрать но там ответил уже другой индус и то же самое ответил. В итоге я переплатил из за этой тупой программы и безразличия сотрудников.

The app contains a lot of useless information and advertisements, but doesn’t have such important info as: - exact COVID limitations or requirements for a country of destination - departure airport terminal (at least for Sofia it’s not provided) - time when registration or baggage drop-off starts in the airport

Quite good but unstable. App is easy to use, everything works smooth, but sometimes it just crashes without any reason. Also be very careful with the payment. I switched to another app to copy card number, but my booking in Wizz App disappeared. I had to make a new one, and the price of course was €5 higher.

Broken date pickers. Can't select date of issue of a passport because all wheels always reset themselves to today's date

User. I have downloaded and installed the most fresh version of WizzAir s/w suitable for my OS, but when started the s/w requires to be updated!!! Where you found such talented s/w developers? Kick out and ban them out of IT activity!

Отзыв. Почитал отрицательные отзывы людей которые обожглись на ситуации с регистрацией. Надо заранее действительно регистрироваться. Такая ситуация была и на Ryanair, поэтому здесь ещё не обжигался. Так же смог в приложении докупить багаж спустя время на самолёт в этом приложении. Интерфейс удобный относительно. Зарегистрировался и удобно пользоваться если постоянно пользуешься их услугами. Цены бывают привлекательными.

Не было трансфера!. Оплатил на сайте трансфер из аэропорта Кутаиси в город. Прилетел, а в аэропорту сказали у Wizz Air нет трансфера, пишите в компанию, чтобы вернули деньги. Ничего не вернули! Не покупайте трансфер у них на сайте!

Perfect UX. The UX is amazing. But I can’t sign in - says the email/password is incorrect. But I can sign in on web version without any issues using the same credentials. Tried to change password but it makes no effect.

Terrible airline. Thanks to them I was stuck in a foreign country, my flight was canceled before departure and absolutely nothing was provided! Compensation is not returned. This company is blacklisted for me. Never deal with this airline.

Не предоставляют информацию. Проходите регистрацию онлайн потому что в аэропорту за это дерут деньги и немаленькие, от 50 евро и больше, в первый раз вижу чтоб за регистрацию брали деньги самая худшая компания на которой я летел

They lost my baggage. Absolutely terrible service. They lost my baggage and I even can’t contact them to solve this. I need to go to another city after 2 days and I really don’t know what to do. Creating a claim and wait 30 days until they answer is absolutely inappropriate. Their mistake worth my New Year vacation - it is completely ruined. I don’t recommend to fly this company at all.

Ужасное приложение худшей авиакомпании. Невозможно связаться с контакт-центром, в приложении при переходе - выдает ошибку. Авиакомпания в последний момент отменяет рейс, возврат нормально не проводит и пишет что билет не оплачен, свяжитесь с контакт-центром, с которым связаться не возможно. Это точно худшая авиакомпания, услугами которой я точно не буду больше пользоваться.

Вопрос.. Подскажите. Ввёл имя и Фамилию не так, как в паспорте. Единственный вариант - это оплатить 216 злот за изменение имени, когда заполняю автоматическую регистрацию?

Very bad. During registration on flight and buying priority just hanged and nothing helped. We have to call to Italy from Armenian desk and cancel my actions in app, to make check-in on desk. After all I have to pay 2x for my cabin bag as it’s much more expensive on check on than in app. Not really good work

Very bad. Terrible company, no feedback. My flights were canceled twice two weeks before the flight. It is impossible to return money from their internal system. It is also impossible to use services in the other direction.

Terrible experience. To be honest, I haven’t flown with Wizzair before. My expectation about this company was not bad. 22 January I needed to go from Budapest to Moscow. I was trying to buy priority pass for my booking, because I had baggage I needed to take to board. Every time, there is was an error during payment. And it’s not a problem, but after each case, their system was blocking my reservation and I seeing the error about pending my payment and that I can’t fly to final destination with this issue.

Can’t save tickets bought elsewhere.. I bought Wizz air ticket on aggregator. Now I want to access this ticket in Wizz air application. I can do it on “pass” tab, but I cannot save it. So every time I want to see this ticket, I need to copy reservation number from elsewhere. Inconvenient.

Возврат денежных средств. Добрый день! В связи с отменой рейса Санкт-Петербург-София код рейса UFH4KW от 15.04.2022 , прошу вернуть денежные средства в сумме 149, 13 евро и 103, 98 евро на имя Vadim Potapov которые были оплачены 20.02.2022г. Телефоны не действительные.

Самая отвратительная авиакомпания. Покупка мест и регистрации оказалась дороже билета, НО самое главное что прислали посадочные только на обратный рейс, а туда не дает внести данные и просит связаться с сервисным центром, до которого не дозвониться никак! В итоге деньги выкинуты на регистрацию, на покупку мест, на электронную регистрацию, а посадочных НЕТ!!! На жалобы в электронном виде никто не отвечает! В итоге куча выброшенных денег, а посадочных НЕТ! Только на обратный рейс. Наверное еще заставят платить за регистрацию в аэропорту. Дебильнейшая система, дебильнейшая а/к! Куча потраченных нервов, времени и денег! В последний раз связываюсь с этой а/к.
