Русофобия со стороны тиктока.. Хоть нам и не полностью ограничили доступ к тиктоку, все же неудобная ситуация с русофобией. Китайские разработчики закрыли тикток давным давно и кажется, забыли про нас либо же радуются русофобией со своей стороны. Обидно же, что все знают тренды, «а ты нет». Жестокость не банится. What is wrong with for you page?. Firstly my fyp turned into pregnancy app, every single video as if I’m not showing interest in anything else! I reset my fyp and it became the most crazy mix of the weirdest absurd videos from random countries on random languages I don’t even speak. Impossible to reach target audience. I create content for English speaking countries (the US and Canada specifically), but because I live in Europe - I can’t even reach my target audience. I see Russian speaking countries, South Africa, neighboring European countries in my analytics and almost never - the US and Canada. TikTok discriminates millions of creators, not letting them choose the audience they want to reach. I see tons of similar vids as my own going viral just because these creators live in the US, while I live in the “wrong” country apparently. TikTok pushes my vids to the people I didn’t create my content for and they start dismissing it as “not interested”, and this way my content goes to the dump. Using TT for a year, I don’t have even a single video reaching 10k views, while I saw content a thousand times worse quality going viral because the person lives in the US. In era of globalization not letting creators choose the audience they want to reach is ridiculous. Do better!

deep links don't work. I waited for two app updates, wondering if they hadn't tested something properly. LINKS DON'T WORK. They send me a link to a TikTok video in Messenger, I click it, and the browser opens. Okay, at least there's an "open in app" button. It opens the App Store (why?). Okay, I open TikTok from the App Store, and guess what? The video I wanted doesn't open. I think, okay, maybe the link didn't load. But no, the link doesn't work; it just shows the first recommended video. Bring back the "delete video for both" feature. What's with this quest where the video is marked "not interesting"? Imposible to reach target audience. I fully agree with the previous review about impossibility of reaching the necessary audience. I live in Eastern Europe too, but I’m interested in Western Tiktok side way more and would love to be on fyp of English speaking users. What I expect to see when I open this app is a friendly community, but not people who blame others for no reason and make them feel guilty for no reason. Apple should investigate whether this app still complies with platform values and human rights principles.

Why am I in ru region?. Nice app but me, person from Ukraine, with ukrainian language on my phone, still get official notifications and offers in russian. When I open last botification (about anti-bullying), everything is in russion and caption is ru region. Ukraine is not, never have been and never will be a part of russia. Only 30-40% of residents know russian, but not me, so why am I not able to see these notifications in ukrainian, or at least english? Just remove Ukraine from ru region, please. It’s eu region.

TikTok’s problem with editing. Why TikTok removes the changes made to added audio after saving the video to drafts? For instance, you may make an added audio quieter, cut it and shift it towards the end of the video, and then you upload it thinking it’s all the way you left it only to find out after video is live that you have a cacophony of layered tracks of audio because TikTok decided to drag audio back to the beginning. Not fun at all when you spent 5 hours editing trusting TikTok mechanics for it to let you down like this. Also subtitles to video disappear after publication on occasion, which may vitally worsen the account workflow.

I used to see my friends’ reposts in the “For You” feed, but this feature disappeared, even though all of my friends still have it. Please fix the report system. The app is wonderful, there are almost no bugs, but the report system doesn’t work properly. Couldn’t sign up. Just installed application from AppStore to my iPhone 13 Pro Max (iOS 16.4.1 (a)). I have to specify my birthday but couldn’t confirm it so couldn’t pass or skip this step.
