Самопроизвольное изменение интерфейса. Page preview on the lower side of page at the scrollbar is stopping to appear for undefined period without any reason. Then suddenly it appears again. That stuff was one of the main advantages of the app. And sadly, new updates does not support old devices. I request a patch for that bug for Ipad mini 2, after that I could rate 5 stars.

Fantastic app. Got acquainted with the application can’t even remember when! I was thinking about getting kindle for some time, then so a suggestion on Amazon for the application. Since then never needed any other application for reading. Definitelyrecommend!

Buying a book is a nightmare. Its incredibly hard to buy a book from you guys. Okay.. you decided to not give people an opportunity to buy directly from kindle after reading a sample. But give them a link to the item at least. And then having to go through the nightmare of creating an account or logging in, just to buy an eBook which is merely a bunch of kilobytes. And of course no apple pay, old school hard core find your credit card and type a dozen needless fields stuff. As a product designer from Russia who's read a lot of inspiring stuff about Amazon I'm deeply disappointed with your buying UX. Reading UX is okay-ish, to be fare, hence 3 stars not 1.

Cannot use my profile after updating. What it happing?

Отличное приложение. Быстрое, удобное приложение, нет ничего лишнего. Работает синхронизация закладок и прогресса чтения между книжкой Kindle Paperwhite и этим приложением. Есть мой любимый шрифт Bookerly. Работает стабильно, без вылетов. И главное, что скачанные книжки остаются на устройстве, а не сгружаются в облако как у стандартного приложения Books. Русского языка в приложении нет, но это дикость - ставить низкую оценку в 2022 году за такое. Тем более тут и настроек то почти никаких нет. Нужно только залогониться и можно пользоваться.

Не отправляет.. Перестал со вчерашнего дня отправлять книги на устройство, через приложение. Отправляю - а мне пишет что данный формат не подходит. Отправляла и mobi, fb2 и epub.

Великолепная читалка. Отличные шритфты, минимально достаточный интерфейс, возможность синхронизации заметок, словар, википедия и переводчик по клику на слово. Что можно было бы улучшить: 1) куча пустого места "для красоты между словарем, википедией и переводчиком" - стоит объединить в один большой блок с 3мя табами 2) Bing - это несерьезно, надо translate от yandex,google или Deepl 3) TTS как в Kindle на Fire HD - всё равно это можно сделать с помощью экранной читалки iOS, просто не так красиво, так чего жаться? 4) Abbyy Lingvo Eng-Rus в стандартной поставке как на Oasis 5) настройка "при выделении сразу копировать в буфер обмена" - это позволит открыть рядом полноценный переводчик

Kindle. После установки обновлений от Майкрософт Кайндл перестал совсем открываться на ноутбуке с Виндоуз 11. Проблему так и не удалось решить. Пришлось срочно переходить на айпэд.

Does not show covers of PDF books. I use Kindle for iOS a lot and often add PDF documents and books bought not from Amazon. Since recently Kindle for iOS stopped showing existing covers for side loaded PDF books. Please correct that since generic “DOC” cover would not even show full book title nor author name.

Cannot buy books. I could not find a way to buy books from this app. This is quite strange considering I can browse the marketplace. You have this basic feature for kindle devices why not to add it here?

Переустановка поможет если вылетает. Всем у кого вылетает приложение: переустановка вам поможет. Была точно такая же проблема, как у многих в последних отзывах. Не сразу до меня дошло самое простое и верное решение :)

Absolutely afwul PDF support. Books that are ePub-based are mostly fine. But PDF-based books don't have even basic view options like zoom (in/out/fit to page/percentage) or page layouts which is mindblowing.

Stopped working. Crashes when opening any book

Problem with an app and the format. Couldn’t send epub Forman to the Kindle app for iPhone, said that it is unsuitable format, but when I choose mobi format it works, but I always get an e-mail, that Kindle no longer works with it. Not working. downloaded for the first time, paid for the book and immediately blocked the account for "unusual activity" with the requirement to prove that the payment was mine. a receipt from my bank with the necessary data to restore access to the account - does not work, the account is still blocked. Impressions - for an assessment with a minus, but here it is. second day no book, no account, no money. fiasco

Andriy. Love this reader for seamless switching btw Kindle, iPad, iPhone. And between reading and listening. Inability to add audio books in Ukrainian language causes some not convenient compromises, but there are no better option yet.

Not able to open links from the book. Don't you find it strange to buy an e-book for studying and find out that you can't open any references?! Guys, do something with it.

Make the dictionary pane scrollable. Please make the dictionary entries scrollable, so when I look up some word I can see all of its meanings. Like it works for Wikipedia pane.

Blocked account. Hello, hope I might get attention to my case. From the beginning of the Rus-Ukraine war I’ve got banned. The reason was that in my account selected address of the occupied territory. It’s true, but it’s not my current location. I’ve provided all of the evidences that was requested. However I’ve been ignored. This is my last hope to renew my account, that contain a dozen of bought content. Hope you could help me.

Not so good in terms of reading app. There are lot of anther apps which has a lot better settings and abilities for screen tuning. For example FBReader. Just checkout what it able to do with the text on the screen.

Really good app!. This app is really good, it allows you to read almost every book - even comics! And you could read a sample before buying a book to make sure you want it. It is a really good app!

The best App for reading. I am not a native English reader, and before wasn’t sure that I can read book in English as some words I don’t know and need to translate in some cases, to not loose the context. I was amazed when I saw that I can translate the word right in the app as well as safe some sentences to the notes. It’s amazing! My compliments to the person who once thought about this feature! One thing that could make the App even better it’s to search for books right in the App. However, it depends… Thank you to the Development Team!

I love it buuuut. I love the update and everything is simple and great. But I would love to have more colours for highlighting text pieces! There are only four(!) colours but it’s such a small number really. Two more would be okay, but an infinite choice of colours would be much better!

Open potential of the apple pencil. I would like to have possibility to make markings and nots using the Apple Pencil even if it would mean that they cn be displayed only on ipads or and tablet devices.

My favourite reading app of all time. Everything is amazing in Kindle but these two things: - Changing the margins of the page - Buying a book right away in the Kindle app I hope this gets improved In the bigger picture, I think Kindle is still at the top and is still the number 1 tool for reading.

Pretty comfortable but not perfect. For instance, I like the possibility of changing font size but don't like the inability to "zoom" the page

Lookup/Dictionary implementation is weird. The dictionary pop up is horrible - it eats a lot of space and shows tiny information. Wikipedia tab is not readable in most cases. Autotranslation with bing is almost useless for single words giving stupid non relevant translations without other possible variants. Leave this job to the apple’s internal “lookup” feature it does this job much better.

Problem didn’t disappear. To whom it may concern, I have an issue with my Kindle app on my iPad. The issue is next: Kindle app doesn't remember the page that I was reading the last. In case I read a couple of pages and close the app, the next time I open it - it opens a book from the very beginning (from the cover) and not from the page I was on during my latest session. Could you please recommend me, what should I do with such an issue?

I love Kindle. I have completely switched from paper books to Kindle. It is so convenient and effective. You have access to books from any of your device. You can add comments or use dictionaries without interrupting your reading experience. Love it!

It stopped opening. I love kindle app and use it for years, but today smth went wrong. When I tap on the icon, the screenshot with a reading boy opens, a wheel symbolizing download appears and it spins for years. Nothing happens next. How to fix this? I have tried to reinstall it, but this doesn’t help.

Great application. Everything is awesome but one thing that could be improved is to have a possibility to write notes with Apple Pencil. It is more convenient than use keyboard and creates a feeling of real paper book.

Sending files doesn’t work.. Sending files through the application does not work. When I try to send files to a Kindle e-reader using this application, the message appears on the phone screen: “Error sending file. Your file couldn't be sent at this time. Please try again later.” This error has been appearing for several days now. The problem cannot be solved by reinstalling the application. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Send to Kindle feature. I loved this app for an easy and fast way to send different articles into my Kindle Paperwhite direct from Safari, but now it doesn't work AT ALL ! Tried to use different accounts - no effect, the articles i send doesn't appear on other devices, so this app became absolutely useless for me.

A bug in the update?. I have been using this app on my iPad and iPhone for years and I love it. But now when I open a book on the iPad it always opens to the title page. And it doesn’t matter whether I restart the app or just open another app and go back to Kindle, it just jumps back to the title page... then I have to sync the furthest read location and it jumps to the proper place. On the iPhone no problem. I thought it was a glitch, so I reinstalled the app on the iPad - same bug.

Make it possible to increase the font size in Notebooks. Overall the app is great. There are two things though that annoy me: 1. I can’t read the list of my highlights because the font-size in the Notebook is so small it makes my eyes hurt and there is no option to choose a font size. Please add it 2. I couldn’t find a way to buy a book from the app. Being able to buy a book once you’ve read the sample seems so natural but yet I can’t do that

Could have been better. Why can’t I purchase books directly from the app? It doesn’t even redirect me to Amazon and I need to find the book myself after finishing the sample. Why is displaying of page numbers allowed only after purchasing a book, but not while reading the samples? Why does the translation window appear only at the bottom of the page while I’m holding my finger on a word at the top of the page? It would be a problem if I didn’t have to scroll to the right to skip both Dictionary and Wikipedia windows, because initially I can’t see the translation. Let us the opportunity to change the order of those windows.

Отличное приложение. Очень удобно читать Книги из магазина Амазон. Особенно впечатлило,что не надо ждать год когда переведут книгу на русский,бери любую на английском и сама переводи,если тебе это действительно важно. Жаль что я раньше не знала о таком приложении удобном.

Неплохо. Размеры шрифтов регулируются с очень большой «ступенькой»: либо слишком маленький либо слишком большой. Плавной регулировки как в покет бук (приложении) нет.

The best app. The only thing that Kindle lacks is the best real paper white reader. The one called paper white is unfortunately cheap paper gray.

Около нулевая функциональность. Функциональность меого не дотягивает до Kindle на своём железе. Купленные там словари здесь не видятся. Шрифты здесь почти не регулируются. Халтура.
