Schlimmste UI/UX ever. Katastrophen-App; Menüführung unklar, Screens unübersichtlich, Clubauswahl zeigt immer Clubs in 600 km Entfernung an, Sortierung gebuchter Matches unübersichtlich, Suche nach öffentlichen Matches zeigt je nach Suchweg unterschiedliche Ergebnisse für den gleichen Zeitraum und Club an. Wer das Ding programmiert und getestet hat, versteht nichts von Software und/oder von Nutzern.

Kaum bedienbar schlechte Clubintegration. Umständlich zu bedienen, unübersichtlich, deutsche Version arbeitet mit teilweise mit mangelhaften Übersetzungen. Achtung: ein neues Profil ist per Default öffentlich; Die App hat zwar keine Altersbeschränkung (bzw. 4+) Buchungen über die App sind aber nur für User über 18 Jahre erlaubt. Schade, dass unser Tennisclub das eingeführt hat!

Zwangs-App: Teurer, aufdringlich & datenhungrig - unfassbar freches Geschäftsmodell. Seit die Sportmühle Hilden per Geschäftsführung entschieden hat, die Buchung der Padelplätze zwingend über die App Playtomic abzuwickeln, haben sich folgende Probleme ergeben: 1. Eingeschränkte Buchungsmöglichkeiten: Buchungen für den Amateurbereich meiner Kinder können nicht mehr über die sonst üblichen Kanäle erfolgen, die für alle anderen Sportarten im Studio verfügbar sind. 2. Datenweitergabe: Für die Registrierung musste ich meine persönlichen Daten angeben. Playtomic erhält damit Einblick in alle meine zukünftigen Buchungen. 3. Zahlungseinschränkungen: Meine Kinder können nicht mehr selbstständig mit ihrem Taschengeld bezahlen. 4. Werbung und Abos: Ich werde mit Benachrichtigungen, Werbung und Abo-Angeboten konfrontiert. 5. Preissteigerung: Die Kosten für die Platzmiete sind spürbar angestiegen. Fazit: Die Verpflichtung zur Nutzung dieser App, die Eingriffe in meine Privatsphäre und die höheren Preise empfinde ich als unverschämte Geschäftspraktik. Für mich ist dieses Modell absolut inakzeptabel. Nutzer, die das Ranking und die Partnersuche der App nutzen und die Gebühren sowie die Datenweitergabe akzeptieren, mögen vielleicht damit zurechtkommen – ich nicht. Null Sterne.

User Journey. User Journey is not intuitive

Cooler gamification Ansatz aber sehr aufdringlich. Ich habe seit rund 2 Monaten nicht mehr gespielt und war demnach nicht aktiv in der App. Aktuell bekomme ich täglich (teilweise mehrmals täglich) notifications mit der Aufforderung zu teilen, warum ich nicht spiele. Das ist nicht cool. Es ist sogar sehr lästig.

Nice system, bad app and extremely expensive. It's a very nice system behind playtomic to make kind of a level system. So you always play with players similar to your level. That's cool, although it's depending on the country, which kind of level you have. The app is really bad, super unintuitive, very strange to book a court. There are like 3 different buttons to book a court for 3 different bookings. Hard to explain, but very weird. Also not easy to find clubs sometimes. They take a ridiculous 1€ PER PLAYER for each booking. That's crazy. I pay 5,50€ for the court, but with playtomic it's 6,50€. That's insane, almost 20% markup for an app and some servers and payment systems.

Leveling is not working well. Very good app for booking a court. Players leveling is weak. Should also get higher if you play longer. Often level doesn't fit to the 1-7 scale. If you're level is between 1-2 and always plays against people the same level (and you sometimes lose and sometimes win) you will always stay line that even if you get better from month to month. Had opponents that have been under 1 but should haven been around 3.5 if you look at scale description

Vorsicht, falls ein Storno in Betracht kommt.. Die App suggeriert beim Buchen, dass man bis zu einem gewissen Zeitraum vor dem Spiel kostenlos stornieren kann. Das ist nicht korrekt! Die App verlangt 0,95 € Bearbeitungsgebühr! Das ist eine Frechheit

Wäre toll, funktioniert aber nicht. Man kann nicht einfach sehen, ob es überhaupt jemanden in der Nähe gibt, mit dem man vielleicht spielen kann. Man muss mühsam Filternsetzen, obwohl es eh niemanden gibt. Es wird nicht klar vorher gesagt, welche Provision zu zahlen ist. Es wird aufdringlich mit PremiumAbo für 40€/Jahr geworben, obwohl es gar keine Spieler gibt. Da sollte man erst mal etwas bieten... Leider Zeitverschwendung. Ich glaub auch nicht, dass diese App die Marktllücke gut abdeckt.

Some issues. The issue with the App is that when someone cancels a Match less then 24h before the match you are Stuck. We have WhatsApp Groups. But honestly what an opportunity for Playtomic …. Earn Penalty fee for Late canceling. The Spot is free again and anyone can book in. So with my Solution PT gets 1. the booking fee 2. the Penalty fee 3. the new Booking. Now make the calculations yourself and thank me later ;)

Happy with the new update. Thank you for fixing this annoying iOS bug that didn’t remove notification badge inside the app once the chat has been seen! Really happy with the app, helps to better organise padel communities in big cities.

Prime example of why monopolies are bad.. The whole experience is terrible especially the tie in with urban sports club and it does the same support ai **** that every company does that never helps anyone and only prevents you from talking to real human support which they probably reduced to one person for the whole world in order to save costs. I will from now on focus on padel courts that give you the option to book without this trash app.

UX/UI has much More potential. The idea is good but execution is really bad. They need to improve on the function and where to find what. Also why can’t you make reservations as a public match? Doesn’t make sense at all.

Court bookings okay, class bookings an absolute pain. Regular booking process is alright. But finding a course/class within your level, on specific weekdays and times of day, and with the preferred course content, is an absolute nightmare. This should be so easy to implement with just some basic filters. Please do something about it

Dark mode doesn’t exist. Good App, however, we need an App update allows us to enable/disable dark mode for this app. The only white mode is annoying.

Very disappointed with Fairness. I had a very disappointing experience with Playtomic. I joined a match that I clearly understood to be a competitive game. When I arrived at the court, the situation was suddenly different. There was confusion about the match type, and the opposing players even stated that they had changed it because they felt we were stronger players. This led to a disagreement on site, and I decided not to play under those changed and unclear conditions. Despite being physically present and ready to play, I was marked as a “no-show” and charged for the match. What is most frustrating is how one-sided the resolution process was. I contacted support multiple times, explained the situation in detail, and even clarified that I was present at the venue. However, they relied solely on their “system logs” and completely dismissed what actually happened on site. There was no real willingness to consider context or find a fair solution. The response felt rigid, impersonal, and ultimately unfair. It is disappointing to see a platform with such a strong position in the market handle situations like this without flexibility or customer-oriented thinking. It gives the impression that they can enforce decisions without meaningful accountability. I hope that more alternatives will enter the market soon, so players are not dependent on a single platform. Unfortunately, this experience has significantly reduced my trust in Playtomic.

Sadly very ugly redesign. The app recently got really ugly. All the fonts look terrible now. Also the UX wasn’t improved :/ not sure why

Zero customer service. App was set-up and now no one cares. Zero customer support, inaccurate matchmaking only exists to make money for the developers now.

Calendar access. App needs full calendar access to add matches to calendar. For whatever reason the „add events only“ permission is not sufficient.

Viele Funktionen mit Schwächen. Die Buchungsfunktionen sind wirklich gut. Mir gefallen vor allem die offenen Matches, um Spielpartner zu finden. Schwächen hat die App bei der Preiskommunikation. Bis zum letzten Buchungsschritt werden alle Preise ohne die dann fälligen Gebühren angezeigt. Das dürfte in Europa so nicht mehr OK sein. Und bei Rabatten (wie Hansefit) verrechnet sich die App bei der Preisanzeige. Grausam ist der KI-Support. Mit dem kann man sich stundenlang unterhalten, aber zu einer Lösung kommt man nicht. Gäbe es einen echten Support, könnte man dem das schlechte Feedback schreiben und bei der Fehlerbehebung helfen (falsche Preiskalkulation). Aber so bleiben leider nur die Rezensionen.

Very Bad Customer Support. Our booked match was cancelled with a very lame excuse of having free/unblocked slots prior to our slot. We reached out to playtomic support only to know that they do not have real customer support but am AI agent who is only trying to apologise you for the cancellation & nothing else. Really bad and frustating.

Nur Abzocke. Das Wallet-Guthaben ist für jede Anlage separat. Es ist weder möglich, Guthaben von einer Anlage auf eine andere zu übertragen, noch sich das Guthaben auszahlen zu lassen. Für eine Reservierung muss das Guthaben den gesamten Betrag abdecken. Eine teilweise Bezahlung mit Wallet-Guthaben und der Rest über eine andere Zahlungsmethode ist nicht möglich. Das System wirkt so, als sei es darauf ausgelegt, Nutzer dazu zu bringen, immer mehr Geld einzuzahlen. Für Wellpass-Nutzer ist das aus meiner Sicht reine Abzocke.

Best App to find & book courts in the area!. Nice and easy design. My favorite is the „open match“ feature which allows to fill up courts if you are not enough players yet. This app makes playing paddle very accessible.

Very good app. The only need thing I would improve is the search engine. It should be possible to filter for open games, or just see the list of places with available courts without having to go one by one.

Bad Customer Service, I did not receive my rackets during booking and did not got a refund. I booked a court in one of the places in Berlin through this app, along with the booking I booked 4 rackets for the whole session, but at the day of my booking apparently the other players has their own rackets, I asked the place can they cancel the rackets booking and said yes but still waiting for the Playtomic side because they cannot cancelled it directly, then I asked again to make sure that the cancellation process is being done, the say yes. But I have waited for almost a month and no refund. I try to contact Playtomic help but only an bot or automatic response. It was very bad

Should be improved. When looking for billable courts, it is not possible to filter by court types. Of course there are gonna be outdoor courts available at all times during winter in Germany - but the app shows that timeslot as „bookable“.

Support doesn’t work. If you do support with AI, you need to do two things: first is to check if it answers correctly (e.g. doesn’t point to the videos that do not exist) and first to make it connect to a real person, if it cannot solve the problem itself. Completely outrageous.

Open matches don‘t work. Hey guys, if I set up a new open match in a club that is not on playtomic, I can't change date or time anymore. It needs a quick fix.
