Pair it with the 5NN Control web console used by net control, and your whole team — from the controller at the desk to spotters on the road — stays on the same page in real time.

KEY FEATURES

• FCC-verified accounts — sign up with your callsign, validated against the public FCC ULS license database. No callsign, no fake accounts.

• Join a net in seconds — enter a club's callsign or pick from live nets nearby, then tag every check-in and report to that activation.

• One-tap check-ins — set your status as Stationary, Mobile, Emergency, or Off-duty so net control always knows where you stand.

• Live operator map — see everyone sharing location on your net, color-coded by status, with callsign labels, recent reports, and one-tap navigation to any operator. Choose Standard, Satellite, Terrain, Dark, or Voyager basemaps.

• Live location tracking — opt-in, off by default. When you're checked into a net, share your continuous position so net control can see you move on their map. Update rate adapts to your status, and the iOS background-location indicator makes it clear whenever tracking is active.

• Structured weather reports — file NWS-style reports for tornado, funnel cloud, wall cloud, hail, damaging wind, flash flood, heavy rain, snow/ice, lightning, and more. Add magnitude, mark it measured or estimated, attach GPS coordinates and a photo.

• Weather alerts — stay aware of active alerts relevant to your net.

• My Reports — review everything you've filed, newest first, with photos and locations.

• ICS-style activity log & roster — follow the net's roster, log, and reports right from your phone.

PRIVACY & CONTROL
Live tracking is opt-in and only shares your position with the active net while you're checked in. Turn it off any time from your profile, by going off-duty, or in your device settings. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising. See our privacy policy at https://5nn.app/privacy.
