App Language. The language of the app in my phone is automatically Russian and I cannot change it! There is no option for language settings (or I cannot find it because it’s Russian??) It’s A HUGE MISTAKE. Please fix it. (Im not living in Russia nor my phone is in Russian)

Good to have on your pocket but…. Its really nice to have CS website as an app in your phone. Handy but not enough, it would be nice to have groups and questions/answers in app too. Hangouts is an amazing idea.

Haha. The idea of how app works pretty good but using style of people is definitely sucks. I sent a request to stay at any place more than 60. Men always have an excuses to reject you and women do not even text you back just reject you. Long story short not an app for residing and sharing cultures. More like a dating app with people who likes you.

Forced Payment. I was using Couchsurfing for free for quite a while and hosted lots of people through this app. However today, the app prompted me to do a monthly or annual payment in order to continue using the app or to deactivate/delete my account. We are hosting people for free, and it is unfair that we are FORCED to do a “donation” in frames of a virus that doesn’t even exist anymore (or never has existed) If you ask your members to forcefully do a payment in order to use the app, than you should allow us to demand money from the people we host in our house and not sending warning/threatening E-Mails that we are obligated to offer our service for free. Big Big Big Minus for Couchsurfing due to this…

Beware! This is scam!. I have met a lot of travelers who are using the app for free and they never hosted anyone, with no reviews by travelers/hosts, etc. It is impossible to understand what kinda scam is this. Support alternative platforms like “bewelcome” and “couchers”. CS is nothing but a platform built by travelers and now they want to milk you for nothing. No features on app, no articles or offers about travels so I really wonder what these people do for us that they can ask money even from contributing members while they cannot even do the same for others. Even how they handle is a sign of how poorly take care of the platform. Ciao 👋
