Cannot play. After updating, app always crashes when the game starts and it’s impossible to play and therefore in multiplayer games you lose karma. Terrible experience!

Rigged dice algo. A very bad dice algorithm. I have seen 35% of the same number in 60times rolled game. Generally numbers are ridiculous. Plus when bandit is on your land algo deliberately chooses that field number. It also looks like dice comes better when you are a paid customer. They kill the fun of the game. Graphics are the only good thing about this game

Cannot find opponents. There is a problem with the game. Cannot login and open the game.

Buggy AI bots. When a player disconnects and AI bot takes place of the player, and when the turn of the AI bot comes it offers trade than cancels it and offers the same trade again and again. That might be ok, but in every trade cancelation the time limit for the round is refreshed and bot offers trade forever and locks the game. Since there are other bugs also, nearly in every game a player quits/disconnects and an AI bot does this to me and makes me quit the game.

The worst catan app experience ever. This is honestly the worst app experience i have ever had. If you manage to play two full games in a row without any issues consider yourself extremely lucky. Be aware that in around 20-30% of games you will get kicked out due to server issues, connections errors, or random disconnects. The app constantly laggy, unresponsive, and instable. There are frequent input delays, buttons sometimes don’t register, and the overall gameplay experience feels broken. For a paid one, this technical performance is unacceptable. I am finally deleting the app as I switched to Colonist, which works much better.

Dicing algorithm is so weird. To proove it I kept log of each dice and inspected the distribution. It was not normal, it was not topped or anything such. For within the 157 turns there was only single one 3 while there were five 2's and four 12's. A weird noiay distribution which you can not find it in nature. I think this random dicing seed has been developed deliberately to cause a sensation of unsettling. I don't know why.

Server problem everytime. Its not possible to play with your friends. Their server is the worst thing you can see.

Ridiculous. I have had paid for this app like 5 years ago (dont remember exactly) and now suddenly I can not play online anymore or have to pay with “suns”???! Why did i pay for this at that time?!! How can u change that?!!!you will loose a lot of players and we will delete this app

O yüzden yükseltmeleri satınalmayın en azından paranızı korumuş olursunuz! It’s full of errors and bugs. You play for an hour, and suddenly everything gets canceled. If you try to leave a game because of a bug, it still affects your ELO rating. Then you have to go back to the start and wait for a new game, and even then it’s uncertain whether you’ll actually get to play it. So don’t buy any upgrades—at least you’ll save your money.

Defalarca BU KADAR DA OLMAZ deyip oyundan çıktım. Her oyunda 6 ve 8’den fazla 7 geliyor. Sürekli YZ’ye geliyor tabi. Gerçekten oldukça başarısız bir algoritma. Artık oynamak keyifli değil. 3-4 senedir oynuyorum, artık keyfi kaçtı iyice.

Unable to play. While playing with four friends, we encountered network issues and had to shut down the game. When we tried to reopen it, the game attempted to rejoin the same session automatically. However, even though an hour has passed, it neither rejoins the match nor allows us to start a new one. We are stuck on the loading screen. Fix it pls!

Unable to Access Game After Disconnection Unplayable Due to Reconnection Bug. After joining a game with my friends in the Catan Universe app, the game closed because my session ended. When I tried to reconnect, I was unable to do so and the game got stuck on the screen Even after completely closing the app and despite my friends leaving the game, the same screen appears and the app freezes every time I try to join any game. As a result, I am currently unable to play at all. We paid for this game, and now we cannot access it due to this issue. I kindly request that this problem be resolved as soon as possible.

Always problematic. The one problem I can’t believe they don’t fix is; when you’re offered a trade, if you click the trade button too soon to offer counter trade, the game freezes. Now I can’t log in because it says the app is outdated. I deleted and downloaded again but no, still I can’t log in.

Don’t Download. It is broken now.. Its been more then a month now. We cant connect to online servers, everytime we open the app, it asks for the password they game gave to us but the game never saves it. If your screen protector goes on, youre done with the game, it just stucks in the loading screen and cant open it again. I bought expansion packs as well. Probably they collected our money for a while and now they are gone. It is nonsense to leave a game unplayable for such a long time.

No chance after server migration. Desperately trying to connect to the game since the server migration but no chance. Can not play the game since November 3rd. They need to find a way to fix it immediately.

Dice Statistics. Catan is a great game for sure but the dice algorith should really needs to be revisited. It is far from random and algorith favors combinations during a game i.e a lot of 6 or 8. Also same numbers rolled consecutevitelt 3 or 4 times each game which are far from real. Mathmaking could offer more options, hosting a game should be available with player's selected rules instead of automatch everytime if you don't have friends. Overall, great app which can be perfected with some small adjustments.

Very poor dice probability distribution. The game is effectively trying to butcher my development by creating a situation where I am the only player who gets affected by the ‘random’ dice roll negatively. How come is it possible for the theft to be activated again right after I place it somewhere else, while it basically never gets activated if it is on my land? Why is there such an asymmetry between the players in terms of luck? Why is this game like 3 players vs 1 (me), while in an ideal scenerio everyone should have been on their own?

Not random. I’ve never left a review for an app in my life but want to take my time to leave this here. I don’t know how difficult to make dice rolls random but guys there is even an excel function to get a random dice roll. Whoever taking care of these so-called random dice algorithm, send this person to a probability course + make this person enter random function in excel at least 100 times a day. I will just give this example: there was only 1 dice roll sum up to 8 in whole game and it was the literally the last roll, just because I was neighboring one of tiles with 8 from very beginning. Meanwhile dice roll sum up to 12 for 5 times. Do not try to balance the f’in game! Just make it random. And AI is do dumb, they choose 3-4-11 over 5-6-9 with the same resources but somehow manage to win because 5 of first 10 dice rolls are sum up to 11.

Great!. The game is great designed and they solute problems within 2 days time usually. Just I would like to give some feedback. Everytime I open and close the app I have to login again. I’d recommend to change that. Sometimes I don’t have internet and if I didn’t open the app before I got cut off internet I can not use the offline serves neither.

Disconnecting from the game. I guess this started to happen after the last patches. Every single game I start ends with disconnection. Then the game says it’s rejoining but nothing happens. I can't finish most of the games because of this. Dear dev, please, fix this problem as soon as possible. This problem happens on my iPad and iPhone. My humble, non-professional opinion is that I don't think it’s a problem with coding since those devices use different Operating Systems to develop an app for. So, I think this is a problem with something central such as servers.

Constant “no connection to server” error!. I’ve purchased the base game and thought about buying other expansions too but the game needs a major optimization on both, iOS and on Steam (PC version) too. Overall, a great game, own the original board game too, but the app needs to be fixed, it’s frustrating to wish to play and not be able to because of server problems even with high speed internet connection!
