Free period is a scam. They charged me 100$ before the free period has ended and not refunding the money even after applying gor a refund twice.

Refund. Hello there, I would like to cancel my subscription and request my refund but no one takes care of it. I could not read most of the books because it is not supported due to my location. During subscription it says you can cancel within 3 days. Why 3 days? Most of the apps you have at least 1 week. I tried to cancel but they do not. It does not make sense.

why no option to skip?????. why does it take so long to even try it? why no skip option ? why force every user like they have avg brain and need to listen your basic tutorial about app. others things work but horrible intro

2 Big Problem. 1- When I try to stop audio reader it starts automatically in 1 sec immediately. 2- I want to follow the sentences from my pdf textbook, not from the straight speechify text. Please solve this problems and I will purschase premium, and I downloaded speechify app to my macbook air m1 2020 from app store as ipad version. Please make an OS version

Great product. It is very useful for reader who prefer to listen. I wish, though, it was less expensive.

Terrible Kindle experience. I can not access the book’s content menu if “download” the Kindle version. It constantly stops reading and I have to manually resume it.

Useless. Skips whole paragraphs usually only reads 4 rondom words or none. I am an paying user please fix this

Localized pricing please. Great app but please, Localized pricing is needed.

Big Disappointment. speechify being a real disappointment for me :) I am a spotify user and since both is for listening I all the time compare your app and listening confort with spotify's. I have many problems : 1) I have serious disconnection problems when I am in subway. In subway internet comes and goes occasionally and app's reading disconnected immediately. this is never happening with spotify. spotift -even if you dont download music- somehow manages this and intelligently downloads the music you are about to listen in advance and I have never had disconnection problem at spotify. You are going to be compared with spotify all the time. you have to solve this to survive. 2) the app is disconnecting even I am in openair and have incessant internet. Yes many times. many many times. It just stops reading and then you have to click the play button again and again to make it work again. this makes even more upset. 3) you need to solve this. or bring in app download feature to the app so that we can download items before we start listening so that we have zero disconnection. 4) reading is skipping some words I have attached an example. I am an english learner and my text have many repetitions and sample sentences. ın this (attached) example app reads "censure" only 1 time even if its 3 times written. 5) APP pronounce words in wrong, such as = "infrangible". please check merriam webster prononciation of this word and your apps prononcication . your prononciation is even worse than built in speech engine. . there are many such words. usually app is mispronouncing the stresses in the words if its not pronouncing completely wrong.

Too expensive. You cant skip onboarding. It makes you wait ages. And it is too expensive for Turkish people.

Today, right after I clicked on the 3-day free trial on the Speechify App via the App Store, an immediate withdrawal of 3499.99₺ was made without providing any service. I then canceled the subscription hoping it would be returned. But no luck! And now, not only can I not log into the app, but also an incorrect charge of 3499.99₺ was made without receiving anything in return. I have no subscription and I’m out 3,500₺!!! —— İnanılmaz skandal DOLANDIRICILIK Kesinlikle indirmeyin. Hırsız var! scam. you can’t cancel the trial subscription and it charges before the trial ends. this app should not be on appstore.

They scammed me!. I paid a total one year premium subscription via applestore but they kicked me out 7 months before my subscription is over! I did everything to reach them but they didn't answer! Apple also didn't help me and didn't refund me! I am so disappointed with this app

Payment process issues and inconsistency between the workers. I am a student in Turkey and literally suffer from ADHD. It is really helpful app people like me and I really wanted to buy it. But the price was extremely high for me that I can not pay in one time. First I asked whether I could pay same price divided by month. And they said it is impossible. I said okay. And then they gave me perfect discount that I can pay in one time. BUT I CANNOT OVERCOME THE ISSUE OF “Payment country method not allowed.” I am asking and no one knows or tells me why this happens. And I have been waiting for a week the issue to solve and they came to me another link that the price they offered suddenly become 2 twice of the previous price. And still I can’t pay. I am frustrated because, first it has been a week that I am waiting for solution, second they doubled the price they offered. I lost my hope that this process will end in success. So I gave up in purchasing.

Worst Pricing EVER!!. The app is good. It might be the best app to read in English. Other languages need some development but there is a problem: the app does not care where you are from. It is always based on the US dollar system and if you are not in the USA, most probably you are not going to be able to afford the price. For example, in Turkey, the amount of a premium subscription is 222 TRY for a month when it is 12$ for those who live in the USA or a country that is not dealing with inflation. If this problem gets solved, this might become my favorite app.

Best App For After Eye Surgery. Thanks for the great App. Wish it could work from the News sites and read the news sites as well. Superb tool for the minimal or limited eye sight. Charged without my approval. They deducted the annual membership fee from my bank account without my approval and before the trial period was over. I would like to state that the refund should be made otherwise I will take legal action.

Not very good, the app is not used.. Listening on my phone The PDF player is problematic, it stops on its own and does not work when you press play again, problematic When I use it on Windows, it skips words at the beginning of sentences. I can't log in with my Apple account on my Mac, so I have premium but I can't use the app. If you can solve these problems, maybe you can be a good app.

Overpriced!. It is overpriced for non EU countries and needs an rearrangement in prices.

Unefficient. Some voices are decent, some are fine. Especially the narrator was great. I have tried for about a minute, and it seems to read sentences line by line. For instance, five rows of a sentence are read as five different sentences. Even further, a word hyphenated at the end of a line is read as two seperate words.

No one else downloads this app!. Do not download this app! I signed up for the 3-day free trial, and it clearly stated that there was no commitment. I expected to use it on a monthly basis, but suddenly, the app charged me for a full year at once. I applied for a cancellation three times, and all of my requests were rejected. On top of that, the payment was taken in a single transaction. I have gone through a very difficult financial situation because of this. I hope no one else downloads this app.

Why Butcher a Functional App. It’s the most overpriced app there is that doesn’t even function with the newest update. Server costs don’t justify the price. This app could’ve easily been a one time purchase.

I love it!. I can now read way faster and save time. I have recommended Speechify to a lot of friends of mine and they have also been quite happy with the features of the app.

So much potential…. I just downloaded the app and began using it. It’s amazing that how natural the voices are the nailed that for sure! But there is an issue with the document import or the process being done afterwards. Most of the sentences are being cut and placed in random order. Until that gets fixed the app is unusable. Also the subscription is pricy for Turkey. Hoping to see the issues get fixed. Much love,

Great app, problems with free trial. I really like the premium voices and the fact that I can simply take a picture of the pages and start listening! However, when I started my free trial period it kept giving errors and sent me back to other voice types. This needs to be checked, there might be a bug with the system. And the fact that this is happening when there is only 3 days for free trial was a bit sad. Otherwise great app!

Disappearance of K. I am happy with the voices and the speed options, but I keep having the same problems while importing texts. The letter k keeps disappearing, and it changes the whole experience of listening of course. I don’t know if I am the only one having this problem, but I keep checking if any update gonna resolve this issue. It’s very difficult to use the app this way :(
