It is the best, but you can improve it.. Dear Sirs/Madams I love using your dictionary for studying lots of new English words. It really is the best dictionary. However, I would like you to make it more convenient to study new words. First of all, I think that it is necessary to supplement the Longman Communication 3000 list with information about bookmarks of the words. I think that many of us, who use your dictionary, require this, because it is always much more convenient to add new unfamiliar words using the Longman Communication 3000 list. For example, I've been through the General Service List of Wiktionary and now I would like to study other words from the Longman Communication 3000 list. It would be much easier if this list showed me my bookmarks and I had the possibility of marking new words right in the list. Secondly, I would like to use your dictionary like an iPod; for example, while I am exercising at the gym or driving my car. It would be much better if your dictionary were able to play phrases audibly when the screen of my iPhone is off. Also, you could think more about different varieties of combinations or the order of playing phrases. I think that these improvements would make your dictionary to be much more competitive.

Longman's apps. I believe they are the best in class. Use LDOCE, idioms, LEJ plus. And the support are very attentive people, the five stars for them too. Alexey

Disappointed. Stopped working after update to iOS9 and 9.0.1. Unable to open the app on the iPad Air 2. I need to use the dictionary every day but I can't! I purchased this app in 2012 and there have been many troubles since then especially when buying a new iOS devices or updating. Are you going to fix that???

Почему такая проблема!!!!!. Я покупала версию 2012г. Сейчас ввожу код ID, подтверждаю, что была покупка - почему он не открывается! Что вы сделали??? Я что, опять должна платить. Он может показать одно слово, потом опять закрывается и начинается все заново!!! Что за проблемы ? Это начинает раздражать. Но вопрос принципиальный. Восстановите - обновите !!! Я ведь уже являюсь купившим этот словарь!!!!!

Правда, приложение корявое!. После восстановления покупки на iPhone 5 не ставится. Предлагает писать письма производителю. И это за деньги! Мало того, по весне пришлось ждать, когда они вдоволь наторгуют скидочного словаря с плюсом, и лишь потом загрузят через месяц наши покупки. После сказанного ставить не советую!!!

Супер. Пользуюсь уже много лет. Отличный словарь, особенно для продвинутого уровня. (But one remark, I can't download example sounds which I bought. Download stops at 60-70%).

Cannot restore. Guys, that’s the best dictionary I’ve seen, but unless you fix the issue with restoring the app, it makes no use to anyone. And I am not paying a penny to use be able to use it again. So far 2 stars only.

Чмошный словарь за безумные деньги.... Кембридж и Оксфорд намного дешевле...

Access interrupted. Regretfully this is the second time that I have this problem of access to the app already paid for. The smartphone version is going on quite alright, but the tablet one will not work. Could you fix it, please?

Misleading. The app actually requires a pretty expensive in-app purchase immediately on first launch. There's no point in it other than tricking people into downloading this cruft that is not even retina-ready (judged by the first screen).

DONT BUY. INAPP DOESNT WORK!. Awful support. Stole my money, dont give refund. Support told to wait a week for server to approve my purchase! Wtf?

Техподдержка работает на ура!. Тоже возникла проблема, что не могла запустить купленную 2,5 года назад программу (требовала восстановления или покупки), но связалась с техподдержкой и примерно за 3 письма мне восстановили покупку. Ребята молодцы.

Сайтом пользовать удобнее и хотя бы без оплаты. Требует покупку!

Do not buy. Support doesn't answer, and application after update asks to pay money again. 3 weeks, 8 letters. So they just don't care about your previous money.

Pages went blank. After updating the iPhone to iOS 17.2, the pages went blank. Everything else is ok, search, history, everything, but the pages are blank. Tried reinstalling, it didn’t work. But I enjoyed this app.

LDOCE fan. The app stopped working yesterday. I had been using it for years. I can” understand what the problem is.

This app is about perfect!. Everything is done really well. It's better not to update the app anymore at all, because it doesn't seem that current developers are qualified enough. Bookmarks work now, shell of this dictionary is amazing, definitions are really clear unlike the Oxford's ones because they do use the only most frequently used words for that in this dictionary. Supplementary things with audio are great! Connections with external applications (in my case it is Dictionary Universal and Longman Thesaurus Activator) are really helpful. BUT, there is another side of this medal. The behavior of developers, that present this dictionary in AppStore on behalf of Longman. Guys, you are suck, seriously. I had to re-install your app about 5 time within 7 months. I did it, because there were plenty of problems with that, and it was the only one "solution" that was advised by you. There were too much worry about 30$-application. I mean, it shouldn't be like that indeed. I'll say about the most serious ones. Do you remember the "pop-up" notification "You are thief!" which used to appear in your program? Do you remember, that you removed your app 3 month ago and it was returned to AppStore only a week ago? And all this time there were really annoying notification "Upgrade now!" without any possibility to do that. Is it a good relationship between you and your users? I'm not sure...

Очень плохо. Купил словарь 2,5 года назад, при переустановке не активируется, требует повторной оплаты, тех поддержка не отвечает. Раньше во время пользования выскакивала надпись, что я вор программного обеспечения, но, похоже, они сами воры!

It doesn't work!!!!!!!. I am writing again as they cannot solve the problem!!! It is not possible to open the app after having it on my ipad for few years (and paying a lot of money for it)!! Plus I am not able to download it on my iPhone! Please fix the problem!

Fraud!. There are two similar apps from the same developer Enfour, this one and LDCE5, and both don't work, and in the both cases this "developer' doesn't respond and doesn't try to fix issues, just collects money.

New version. I downloaded the new version of the Dictionary, which is, very strangely, a distinct application. It requires me to pay again, although I already bought the full app and have enjoyed it for about a year. There is an InApp Restore button that does not seem to work on iPhone SE, as well as the link to support address. I wrote a letter to the support last week, still no answer. I use this dictionary for work, so seems like a very strange way to provide a “new version” to me. The dictionary itself is useful, by the way, hence all my irritation.

I really like it!. Very useful for learning English

The worst quality ever. If you don't want to be ripped off and cheated constantly you would better not buy this app. It has numerous bags and with every so-called update they will ask you again to pay 30$ for in-app update that you don't need at all. To put it in a nutshell, by this app the best dictionary that I use in paperback was made the worst. Shame on you developers!

Лучше словаря не существует. Да, нет русского перевода. Но как раз это и помогает лучше узнать язык. Работает перенаправления на любое слово из описания :) Очень удобное а главное полезное приложение. Не дешево, но за такой словарь в кармане... Вобщем стоит своих денег. Использую уже пару лет, доволен покупкой более чем.
