Youtube Shorts. Что за идиотские рекомендации, я сколько пытаюсь избавиться от них, ютуб все равно их рекомендует. Ставлю дизлайки, пролистываю с первой секунды, но все равно он думает типо мне это нравится. А особенно если тебе нужно посмотреть какой-то туториал, то всё. Теперь даже когда ты справился с тем туториалом, Youtube shorts всю жизнь будет теперь рекомендовать тебе видео по тому, что тебе нужно было в тот раз. Не понимаю кто смог такое придумать. Стало очень много рекламы. Решил посмотреть ролик длиной 10 минут. Так вот течение 10 минут я три раза увидел рекламу. Это какой-то кошмар. И реклама уже не по одной штуки а по две. По телевизору уже меньше рекламы показывают. Я конечно все понимаю, что без рекламы никак нельзя обойтись, но считаю что она должна быть в разумных количествах. Просьба. Дорогой ютуб, я с Вами уже на протяжении 7 лет, но в последнее время палка очень перегибается. Рекламы ну Очень много, за 20 минутное видео ты успеешь посмотреть 3 а то и 4 рекламных ролика + опрос + снизу в строке реклама. А еще и при открытии приложения попросит купить премиум. Я конечно понимаю, 2019 год много людей работает, контентмейкерам еще платить, но уже как то слишком. Надеюсь я это писал не в пустую и капля в море упадёт куда надо, спасибо.

Долгая загрузка превью видео на айпаде. При запуске приложений на Айпаде и Айфоне не загружаются превьюшки видео, для загрузки видео требуется время, и это не связано с интернетом, на Андроиде и макбуке все прекрасно работает

Шлак. Из видеохостинга сделали рекламное агенство: Перед видео реклама 20сек,которую не пропустить, посередине видео реклама и в конце тоже реклама! Да ещё и рекламируете свой премиум,с этой паганой музыкой. Только на ПК я могу нормально посмотреть видео,ибо там есть Adguard ,который ни одну рекламу не пропускает.

Качество видео. Сделали очень неудобный выбор качества видео! Даже если ставишь автоматом высокое качество, то выше 1080 автоматически не выбирается! Приходится каждый раз делать куча движений. Описания обновлений. Какой утырок пишет про все эти разрывы пространства-времени, вымытую посуду и вынесенный мусор? А утырки из руководства это поощряют. Being back the old video quality control. The new video quality selection menu is awful and can’t be fixed to one resolution for every videos. Sometimes the “best” quality sets the video to 144 and you have to manually change it to 1080 or even 4K!

Why would you remove the “Watch later” button. I used to have a separate “Watch later” button. Now it’s removed and I have to go to playlists, scroll down until I find it. Really inconvenient!

Ads. Are you completely crazy there? Why am I seeing 5+ ads on every video lately? Even if these are short videos of a few minutes, then every time I switch to a new video I see a new advertisement... This is not to mention long videos. Just a shame..

Too much inappropriate content. Nowadays this application includes too much inappropriate useless content without any opportunity to apply filter or disable channels. In addition I have more and more advertisements especially if you want to watch something popular and valuable. I watched a video for 3 minutes and I had to watch 2 advertisements for 15-20 second each one. It is 16% of the video. As for me it is too much. Annoying bug. iPhone X For the last three days there has been a bug when i try to open any video it says “smth went wrong try again”. Functionality request. Hi! I very like your application:) Can you add the possibility to add the comment (note) for the video in case saving to the playlist? Comment should be visible only for the user who adds the video to his playlist. It’s difficult to find the right video in the playlist without my notes

Overheating & Replies UX. When live video plays with screen turned off - the phone is heating and losing battery dramatically. iPhone 13 Pro Also, the UX of replies to comment is awful - for the last several years I still tap X (close) button to close replies thread and it closes all comments instead. Make you designers read apple ui guidelines. They need to know that close should close only last pullup and not all of them.

New interface is terrible. The redesign for iOS at least is pathetic, majority of recommendations that appeared are completely off, nothing similar to what it used to be (pretty accurate I’d say), not convenient, not user friendly, not interesting, and impossible to filter out by topics. Still no function to disable subtitles automatically popping on, video quality preference doesn’t work. Such a lame job and all for worse. Google doing google stuff “improving” things into worse and not better.

Playlist. Dear guys and girls, would you kindly add one easy button in all versions: in mobile phones, pc, and other devices of YouTube/YouTube music I beg you, I want to open my playlist and have opportunity to see the end of the list in the beginning. Not a Google level app. In general, the app is performing good, but there’re always small UI glitches. Like selection of the channel that does not look nice or the write a comment line that does not disappear when you hide your keyboard with a key. Also community is not on the iPad yet, is this so huge to implement? Here, in Ukraine, we’re not able to donate to the authors yet. Why? Other platforms have this opportunity in our country. We need that to support our local bloggers that are in trouble because of comparatively small audience size. And in documentation, there’s no explanation why it is like so. Definitely not a good level app for one of the richest companies of the world. But with no good alternatives, I continue to use it.

Could be much better.. - It can’t remember a timestamp, where you stop watching saved video (Premium subscription) and you need to search it every time you lunch the app. A bit annoying. - when you save a video (specially a long, 2 hours stream), you have a chance do not get it in offline mode. Comments section new place isn't convenient. Why did you change the comments section? Now, after recent updates if I use my phone with one hand I can't read comments because every time I'm trying to close the thread I close the whole comments section...what? It is so annoying. The arrow at the top left isn't useful, because I have to use second hand to click on it. What was wrong with comments at the very bottom?

(Upd)Can’t see downloaded video in actual quality. When I download video, I can’t see it online in other quality, beside that I download. So, if I open menu to choose quality, there is only that I downloaded. UX should be improved. 1. Please please please stop rewinding queue to the first video when last one ends. 2. Comments section desperately needs filtering functionality, it’s simply impossible to read all the comments one by one. 3. Currently it’s impossible to open a channel directly from the video card. Even though you click directly on the channel icon, app still opens “play or enqueue” modal.

Issue with AirPlay mode. When you start playback with connected AirPlay devices the screen with control keys, progress bar and video capture appears and remains in this position during the whole playback (in both full screen or not-full screen mode). So you see picture on picture. Thus it’s impossible to see the videos.

Frustrating amount of bugs. Why recommended page layout for iPad is the same as iPhone (one giant video thumbnail all over ipad screen)? Is it so hard to hire iOS developer for multi billion dollar company? Every week I experience another annoying bug without getting any new functionality. How you able to introduce them is beyond me.

Add tags to Watch Later videos. I can't understand why such a large corporation has implemented video playlist management and watch later so poorly. we need tags, we need an easy way to add videos to the desired list, because the current method is extremely slow, every time I have to do many more taps on the phone screen or mouse button to then change the playlist of the video. also the whole system is very buggy, often videos from the lists disappear somewhere... bad, very bad. I use videos for personal development, add often and a lot, then I get lost in the videos I need, because every time there is chaos due to the above reasons

Worse and worse.. Every update the app becomes worse. This update I’m not stuck in my library and can’t leave because THE BOTTOM PANEL IS GONE! Those options that are there when you full screen are now replaced with useless ones. I DON’T WANT THE OPTION TO SWITCH AUTO WATCH EVERY VIDEO, I WANT THE OPTION TO SWITCH SUBTITLES EVERY VIDEO! Where did the blue in likes and dislikes go? It’s now IMPOSSIBLE to know does your playlist loop or no. This app is becoming WORSE AND WORSE EVERY UPDATE! I am Really considering jailbreaking my phone switch to switch to some other third party app. Oh and also it’s now almost IMPOSSIBLE to add something to a playlist.

[bug] Swipe bar stays on full screen since last couple of weeks. Since last couple of weeks when you watching videos in full screen swipe bar stays on and doesn’t disappear. Reinstalled many times, Got the latest update,- it only helps on the first run. The minute you close and reopen it - the bug is back. I’m on latest official IOS and iphone 15 pro. Why isn’t it fixed for so long? The references to this bug can be found for couple of years in the forums!!!!

More screen space. It’s a great app but in last versions you change to showing sound track name all the time on the screen in shorts and it takes more space on the screen covering the video itself. Please, do like in the old version when the sound track name info was hidden in the right button dawn the screen.

Some problem. Recently the app started to freezes for 5 seconds as I select and start watching video. Video goes on for this 5 seconds, there is sound, but the image is frozen. And everything else is absent or loading: comments, same videos, description. I am using IPad Air 2.

I don’t want to see SHORTS. I wish it would be possible to hide You Tube Shorts from the main page. It is fine that there’s such a section, but I don’t want to see it all the time when I open You Tube or under videos I watch. It would be fine if one could hide them from the main page and see them only when he wishes in that section below. Network switching interrupts video loading. The stitch-less video download and playback after switching Wi-Fi/LTE bands and vice verse has been broken on my iPhone XS Max with past two or three updates. Very Disappointed. Only reopening same video could help. Before it works not so smooth, often the quality degradation appeared, but anyway I could continue to view anything almost without gaps. But not now. Very strange for such major company product.

Captions! Quality settings!!. What on Earth is going on here?? The app is getting worse by the day - what happened to quality settings?? Yes, I just want it in 4K by default always, NEVER ask again!! Option to turn of those captions ALWAYS for all videos ever, unless I decide to switch them back on manually! Fullscreen - yes, setting to ALWAYS, unless I manually tap to have it any other way! It’s so basic, why is the app going backwards to less intuitive??

video quality switch. I want to use 360p video quality on regular basis even on WiFi , I don’t interested in video much because I watch mostly news and interviews, but it always switches to 720 or another quality and it just extremely annoying!!! What is going on , why data saver is so stupid ? Also I want to save battery as well cuz processing 720p consumes more energy. And please add 1.5x speed button on the screen because tapping the wheel in every video is extremely annoying as well ! Adding premium controls button on screen is also good idea, cuz I still don’t understand when it appears on screen….quite unclear

It becomes better! Yet…. - Heartbreaking voice inputs bugs - unreliable access to downloads in case of slow network (it thinks it need to check something online even if all the data is here, downloaded) - a bit confusing controls in fullscreen mode — how to go to time marks? King is: full screen is only on rotation. Why is that? Can I use fullscreen mode without forced rotation?

Black screen and picture-in-picture bugs. There are random moments when black screen (or black background on video container while not in full screen mode) appears instead of video. Sound is ok, but no picture is shown. Also sometimes video isn’t shown in pic-in-pic mode when the app is closed, video is only playing in background. Turning picture-in-picture mode in settings doesn’t resolve the problem with black screen, so I guess these are separated problems.

SO BAD auto video quality. Return the choice of quality for all videos in the settings, and not: auto, high quality and traffic saving - the way these options work is just disgusting. I have enough internet speed to play 100 videos at 1080p at the same time, but the "high quality" in global settings puts me at 480p. I want to choose a specific quality for all videos, I don't want you to determine for me what quality I need, THIS IS NONSENSE! Your algorithms work terribly, I'm tired of enduring it, the update was the worst!

Return old video quality system. Hello there! I discovered a bug that appears from time to time. When watching any video, double tapping (left or right on the screen) to rewind sometimes stops working correctly and requires you to tap three times instead of twice. Please correct. Landscape issues. In general the app is good, but sometimes I stumble upon videos being cut after having changed to landscape mode. Going back to portrait mode doesn’t help either in such situations. If wish I could provide some steps to reproduce it, but it happens occasionally under different circumstances.

Mostly perfect, but…. hiding dislike counter is so inconvenient. I’m so happy that you now have a chance to support in this way some poor bloggers, who make basically bad content, but the counter was to make coefficient of usefulness of a video, which now don’t work. One another thing is to have a chance to watch video with cropping the screen on the sides on iPad’s 4:3 screen

Shorts are garbage, please make an option to turn them off completely. This is pathetic…why in the world are you guys shoving in our throats the frikking shorts, it’s a waste of time, pathetic videos are made for kids to go dumb, why in the world isn’t there a turn off option for paying subscribers (we at least deserve this much control over what we see)? Even opening the app at the main page as it should be for subscriptions, you’re redirecting to the garbage shorts. Shouldn’t there be a set of regulations for the uploading garbage you’re making us watch? Or at least an opinion to turn this garbage off?

Add filters for liked video and more. Please add some filters so that the people could easily find some videos which they watched several tears ago and liked it. Some kind of video categories would also help to find a necessary video. Also please keep folder like ‘Watch later’ and ‘Liked videos’ on the top if list of all folders that each person is creating manually to save interesting and valuable videos so not to scroll a lot to find the ‘Liked videos’ folder somewhere in the middle if the list as usually all folders are placed in an alphabetical order. They delete your videos stupidity. A lot of my videos has nothing wrong they delete without even asking u or give u space to explained . Plus I done everything still my channel name not on the title of searching . Many mistakes needs to fix . And about google adsinse that they pays u money also not fair at all

Generally ok, except picture-in-picture support. As is it often happens with Google - something never works. In my case, it is PIP. Sometimes it starts work for about a week, then stops. Bugs it is not a problem if support can provide term or even say - we know, will fix ASAP. But it is always something like: - you outside the country where you buy a subscription (later I found the problem - Google uses its own GeoIP database and it is wrong, support can’t help); - ok, now your location is ok; PIP is not working because of Apple (quite tricky to agree while other 3-rd party apps works).

They must be trolling iOS users. Ive been using this app for over a year starting from iOS 15 till nowadays iOS 17 on iPhone 14 Plus and thought-out that time there still are the two biggest issues with this app that irritate me. 1. You cannot remove shorts from the history. You cannot remove it by swiping to the left like you can for a video nor can you press the 3dots button aka hamburger menu, it simply does not react to a tap, there is no even animation it’s being tapped whereas the same button for a video works just great. 2. Oftentimes the top bar (with the explore button) in between the header and feeds on the home page is missing. Sometimes it reappears when I update the feeds by means of updating the feeds, this does not allow me to navigate to the news section for instance. So it really makes me think that Google either trolls me, a Red user, or they simply hire QA stuff from a zoo!

Remove plus( +) button from the below. Remove plus(+) button form the below, because we are get used to the interface without this button. It’s very uncomfortable, when you want to switch to the subscribes tab, but you mechanically tap on it. Maybe you can add some switch in the settings or move it to the top.

This stupid error of video not playing 3rd time in 2 months. Why should I have to deal with the problem of video not playing again the 3rd time in the last 2 months. I found out that this problem is 1 year old. Is it so hard to fix it? Dedicate more people to fix if the current team can’t fix it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good app with a lot of little problems. Why have you removed “Remove watched videos” from the Watch later playlist in the iOS app? I often add videos there and now I have to open YT on on PC to remove all watched vids automatically (because I have a lot of them) Another issue: Please, make a button or item in “Settings” to switch off ALL subtitles everywhere! Why do they appear on every video by default, even in videos with my native language of speaking?! It’s so annoying!

Unusable due to a feed bug. It’s been more then a year now since this started happening. Sometimes recommendations feed just decides to misbehave out of the blue. I can’t scroll down for more then 2 screens approximately, videos just don’t show up for some reason and then if I scroll back up the part where the first video should be it is just a blank white space. Restarting and/or reinstalling the app doesn’t help and neither does rebooting the phone. This is just a mess. It has been better before, this only happened after I opened a video and minimized it and restarting the app helped for 1 video at least. I could have restarted, selected a video, enjoyed it and restarted the app again to find another one, but now the bug just appears whenever it feels like it. And what’s even more frustrating is that subscription feed works perfectly, why recommendations can’t just do that PLEASE

Любитель. hello, I have a question, why do you need a viewing history if I am subscribed to the channels I want to watch, based on subscriptions and recommend videos for viewing on the home page, not based on watched videos. The more you get more and more disappointed, then ads with your location pop up, then give you a viewing history, do you work for the audience or for the government?

Why are you doing this?. This platform was always the best one cause of freedom, vastness of choice and average satisfaction. But now you are just destroying all the work what you did. First of all is that you started to ask a Dokuments to verify age, it’s not how it’s supposed to work. It’s really problematic when I need 20 google accounts for work and each of them needs my documents. What can I say about the secureness? That’s would be horrible for if some one goes into my account and steal my dc. Second is that you deleted dislikes. What if I don’t like something? What if i want to show it without texting a comment? You are not giving freedom anymore.

My opinion. I’m Viktoriia Vasylieva, an 8 year old child that always had a dream. When I made my first video, I felt the proudest I could be. I always thought about how famous YouTubers started, like Ibella and mrbeast. Thinking about challenges, trends, games, and other videos I will make. First I made 3 videos, 1st, (idk it was a date) 2nd, happy thanksgiving and thanks for 17 subs, 3rd, bye… But I deleted them all and made ANOTHER video titled god complex prank gone wrong, and I felt much more grown. Cannot block channels. Cannot totally block local annoying propaganda’s channels. When I search some video I get only videos from local channels that shows political propaganda…. I do not want to see any videos from some channels. No way to disable those… I changed country in settings…it didn’t help…I think it’s tracking IP… I have paid Premium plan… It’s so sad that App doesn’t give me a real needed option. I am sure I’m not the only one who needs it!!!

App crashing all the time. Since yesterday’s update application crashes all the time. I wasn’t able to watch videos on enabled screen. And I’m trying to listen to the music with blocked screen(Premium) and app is crashing every 5 seconds. What the hell?

Some problems. Over the last few months, the quality of the app I use most frequently has significantly worsened. I have encountered several issues with its functionality: 1. When I watch a video in landscape orientation, an ad often appears in the middle of the video. After the ad, the video size frequently becomes much smaller than the screen, taking up only about 30-40% of it. 2. Another issue occurs quite often: I tap on a video—whether from the home page or the “Watch Later” page—and the video starts playing, but the control buttons (previous, play/pause, next) are not available. Instead, only the “Play Again” button is shown. When I tap it, the video starts playing again, this time with the proper control buttons visible as they should be. 3. Lastly, I sometimes experience problems with the navigation buttons. They stop working and appear slightly misaligned, shifted towards the top of the menu. However, I’ve only been able to reproduce this issue on the iPhone 11. These problems have occurred on iPhone 11, iPhone 12, and iPhone 11 Pro Max.

Everything was great before the comments update. After they updated comments section it actually districts from the video itself. It's blinking every 30sec and constantly grabs attention. If I don't want to make video full screen but still want to watch it became super inconvenient and irritates me all the time to the point I don't want to use the app at all. I understand product managers need to show that they are producing some results for the money they receive but why making experience worse, but not better? There are basic ux rules for user attention. Engagement with comments doesn't worth mental irritation of app usage

Comment’s answers closing terrible. New way of closing comment’s answer is terrible! I mean pressing button “back” on the left side of screen. Earlier you can close comment’s answers by pressing “x” on the right. Please return it back or at leat allow to return back to comments by swapping from left to right for iPhone

Обновление на iPad4. При заходе в приложение, ютуб просить его обновить. Обновления в AppStore нет. Есть 2 кнопки "выйти" и "обновить", если выбираешь "выйти", то перекидывает в браузер. Замкнутый круг. Пользоваться приложением нельзя, обновить нельзя. Это неуважение к пользователям с устаревшими моделями. Версией браузера пользоваться невозможно. Качество даже на 720 отвратительно. И какой «умный» человек принял решение о том, что узкая полоса комментариев справа это удобно? Это неудобно!!! Отвратительная корпорация, которой плевать на пользователей. Долгая загрузка превью видео на айпаде. При запуске приложений на Айпаде и Айфоне не загружаются превьюшки видео, для загрузки видео требуется время, и это не связано с интернетом, на Андроиде и макбуке все прекрасно работает

Политическая пропаганда!. Пропаганда по средам рекламы. Призывы на незаконные митинги. Таргетированная рассылка рекомендаций с мнением угодным владельцам компании. Долго пользовались семейной подпиской, но когда переустановил Ютуб и увидел, что за рекламу крутят то мнение изменилось, оплаты от меня больше не будет, и так как вы нарушаете закон моей страны, то призываю всех использовать блок рекламы и не платить им деньги, и будьте внимательны с контентом.
