Audio version. It’s almost impossible to listen audio version from the app

Paid for with adds. To pay for a subscription and have a deluge of adds on each article is something quite remarkable

Playback. All is great. One suggestion for improvement - please add 1.25 playback speed. Currently the first faster playback option is 1.5 which is too fast.

Images constantly pop up. Please stop enlarging images on press and hold

Two suggestions. Can you please: 1) add 1.75x and 1.25x audio speed options? 2) add an option to select the edition (EU, Britain, US, etc.), I live in the UK and would prefer to have Britain and Europe sections first rather than US and China. Thanks

Suggestion. A more condensed table of contents like on ft.com or bloomberg websites would be better. Larger font for the subject headings would be a huge advantage because they are usually more informative than articles’ titles, and it is a shame I need to make an effort to read them.

Content quality is low and subscription could be closed only by phone. Low quality app, low quality content and fraudulent subscriptions practice. NEVER pay them.

The app constantly crashes. Please fix

Latest release is broken. App crashes any time on opening article on “this week” tab.

Remove ads in paid subscription. Application is great, but I think you should remove advertisement for users, who already paid premium subscription.

Subscription scam. The app creators appeared to be the scammers… There’s absolutely no way to cancel subscription online. The only way they suggest to do it is via support chat where hundreds of people are in line and you have to wait for ages…

Slow app. The app is very slow on iphone 13

Well designed, good reading experience. I read most of the news on the tablet and rarely use newspapers’ apps. But Economist is one of the few I use, the interface is nice and read experience is comfortable. What else would I need?

Worst online customer service support. Tried espresso app with further decision to cancel subscription.. but the button is not working, so I’ve spent lots of time to chat with three (!!!) operators to cancel subscription. First even persuaded to try more trial, I’ve agreed but nothing happened))) still same account still same subscription.. I truly shocked such a respectful journal has such a bad customer support….

Tad poor optimization. 2016 iPad Pro 9.7 User Experience. Firstly, the app freezes for an irritating instant when I scroll up or down anywhere: from the menu to articles. Secondly, images within articles are of poor quality, as if they are rudely stretched at cost of resolution. Additionally, numerous missclicks occur while swiping over these very pictures: they abruptly open above the text. Otherwise, nicely designed and efficient application. However, freezes frankly freak me out. Reading is a central process of this app, and all issues are connected to it. I strongly urge you to improve your terrific application.

Exceptional quit after last update. Reboot doesn’t help. Please fix ASAP this great app.
