Impressed. I’m an usual reader of WaPo from Spain and from the countries I lived in the world. Always has been a centre point of my opinion about manny issues. Agreed or not with the content I was always agree with the fine elegance of their writers, opinions, editorial and ideas, respecting the very difficult job they do everyday in WDC, not less. But, dear sirs, What’s happening in this beautiful city and in your redaction offices to write “Democracy dies in darkness”? Are you or not the defendants of this democracy?

Latest version. Not sure if it's happening to anyone else but the latest version on iPhone is crashing.

I am reading the WP every day leaving in Madrid.. For me it is becoming the best source of information. not only on US news but also globally. I miss a bit more attention to the EU.

Well worth having. This is definitely one of my best news apps. Always up to date and usually spot on with the news. The only drawback is the limitation they put on the number of articles one is able to read without paying for it. As a retiree living on a pension, the cost is out of my reach.

Very good except for the Dark Theme. The app works very well at providing and helping one find news throughout the different sections of the paper. What it doesn’t do well is the dark theme. In that mode some articles are in dark mode and some are not. I like to read in bed before sleep (I know, it’s a bad habit) and the dark mode reduces the amount of light -except on some articles where one is blasted by the white background. There doesn’t seem to be a pattern of what articles do and don’t convert so one can’t avoid those articles.

Verd good app. Clear and useful

NY Times vs. WAPO. I read both NYTimes and The Washington Post and find the latter more entertaining and at the same time providing more in-depth investigatory slants and articles than the former. I also like the fun things and especially the political cartoons and advice columns. We can’t always be thinking about the harrowing state of affairs nowadays so the Post gives me the in-depth coverage I need to stay reliably informed and some moments of peace as well.

digital media at its best. I find the app superior to those of other big US dailies (like the one from the NYT); this feels simpler and much better organized; it seems like you don’t have to dig/scroll so much to get a general overview of the day’s news (and pictures) and it loads fast; the cherry on top: dark mode works flawlessly, another positive that the NYT is yet to achieve; at 29,00 usd per year, this is a fine app Spanish papers like EL PAÍS and eldiario.es could learn a lot from, including its price point (less than 3,00 usd per month).

Love the wash post and its app. Love the content, of course, but the app makes it so easy to read on my ipad. Gotta support investigative journalism, it’s what saves the world, so I choose my favorites (wash post, the atlantic, ny times, ny magazine) try and get a good price offer, and read guilt-free.

Dificult acces. I am a suscribir , your warnings are ggood and frequent. But the acces to your articles and pages. Is like HELL. Sorry I like your paper but it is not user friendly

Wapo. The app of Washington Post is Wapo, which fonetically means in the slang of young people Wonderful. In correct spanish, guapo, (Wapo) is handsome. Congrats,great app.

I like the Washington Post. I recently suscribed, and enjoy the clarity and design of the newspaper. I also enjoy the way it’s written ,the honesty of the journalists, the fact that they keep on getting extraordinary news scoops, all of the afore mentioned, in a world , new world I must say, in which news people, and the media are permanently attacked by the President of the United States! Excellent App. It provides good access to all major news in US however lacks in depth in World coverage also ideological US slant in coverage of Latin American affairs; a region where US, and its press, has become irrelevant lacking substance and knowledge.

Sections of the newspaper could have more industry related focus. Not all industries are possible to include but one such as energy should always be there.

Ads. with subscription. Democracy does in darkness but not serving paying subscribers ads. Opting out of publicity and advertising is not an option if you want to ensure that democracy does not die in darkness.

Thinking about it?. Maybe or maybe not,subscribe? News happens all the time. Whether early or late new or old they happened?Predict the future maybe?-805shadow-

Easy to use. The app is pretty intuitive. I use the option to have the stories read aloud so I can listen as I go for a walk in the evening, or as I drive to work in the morning. If I were looking to improve the app, it would be nice to be able to line up a couple stories so they will read one after another rather than having to stop and find another when it’s done (or have my passenger find another).

WP:excelente vio al reporting and opportunities to improve even more.. Wp remains one of the more objective news papers in the USA, in relation to others. However it must work to be more objective in some issues where us media outlets really fail to report with objectivity, ie: Drugs. Cartel stories are well reported but wp and others fail to address the fact consumers are the real financiers of such criminal activity. Financiers of other criminal Activities would be punished. It’s political difficult but needs to be reported. Israel. It simply gets a free pass on what they do. No matter what. Reporting on the USA: perhaps raising the deepness and substance of reporting could be better . Americans do have the capacity to understand complex issues when we’ll informed and explained. Some outlets under estimate Americans but wp is the more capable and best suited to improve the quality of information. Again wp is one of the 2 best media outlets in the USA by far. Congratulations.

WP iPhone App - Good!. As good as it used to be, much more stable and loads much faster. Only downside is the monthly subscription cost

Democracy dies in darkness. Nothing wrong with the app, but the owner is a billionaire COWARD, that prefers money to truth. Therefore, given that the opinion section is disapearing, so am I as a paying member of this embarassment
