Very good!. It has the vocabulary of both Genki books. Works by the three stack system. You can also listen each word and in an example sentence, too - an excellent feature! It was made by people who really thought of the aspects of vocabulary learning. It has also lists of the vocabulary and you can retrieve a word back into the learning list, if you've forgotten it in the meantime. I've never saw a more thought about and complete vocabulary learning app!

Good app for learning!. I totally agree the opinion of heliogobald. Only point is, that the additional vocabulary of lesson 1 is missing. But apart from that, very good app for learning vocabs. And i appreciate, that the words are written in kanjis from the beginning, with hiragana next to it, and the example sentences.

No Sound. The button for voice playback no longer works in all three Genki apps since the new version.

good but.... for 5 stars vocabulary from the book is missing. For example I cant find Jinruigaku - anthropology. I have no idea if more words are missing. During the check I would prefer to see example sentences too. Its already quite good, but it could be a bit more user friendly. Additionally if its possible to buy more vocabulary’s from N1 through N5 I would buy more sets. Would be nice if the app would be free for people who bought the book. I also saw there is a Kanji and Conjugation app. If the Kanji app would have much more Kanji than around 350? i might would get it too.

Sehr durchdachte und gefällige App. Diese Lernapp macht wirklich Spass. Man bekommt von Anfang an Hiragana, Katagana und Kanji (mit Hiragana Übersetzung) mit und lernt so nebenbei zu lesen. Man kann jeweils das Wort und den Beispielsatz anhören. Man muss nicht ständig irgendwas drücken oder interagieren, das Verhältnis Info/Click ist angenehm. Einziger Negativpunkt: die Sätze werden sehr schnell gesprochen, das deckt sich mit dem Buch. Insgesamt die beste Sprachlernapp die ich bisher getestet habe. Well done! Ein sinnvoller Invest in die neue Sprache.

Good program. Good program to go with the Genki books. An iPad app would be nice.

Good so far, but. The app is good so far, but it’s missing some vocabulary from the book. Also the design and the user experience is meh.

Not that great. It's good that they have an app at all, but the implementation is not so awesome. The menus are unintuitive and when reviewing I don't even know whether it is possible to view the full word for longer than a second when you don't know it. And it does not show you the right answer when you press didn't know. I think charging close to 10$ is unreasonable for an app of such low quality. The only redeeming thing are the pictures.
