No Arabic. The APP only works in English. There is no way to make it display Arabic. Hence, only two stars.

Unusable with iPad landscape mode. The app forces the view to portrait mode and this makes it not usable for those who use an Apple keyboard for their iPads.

Die besten zuverlässigen Nachrichten. Es liegt in meiner Natur, nichts zu kommentieren. Aber aus meinem vollen Vertrauen in diesen Kanal und auch meinem Vertrauen in das Land dieses Kanals wollte ich diesen Kommentar bewerten und präsentieren, der, egal wie viele Zeilen und Seiten ich geschrieben habe, nicht ausreicht, um den Al-Jazeera-Kanal zu beschreiben. Wir haben das Glück, einen solchen Kanal in der Zeit der falschen Medien zu haben. Scrolling through the app is a nightmare. Al Jazeera as a news source is great, but am rating the app now. The scrolling experience is really a nightmare, ads popping up and interrupt you from reading articles by throwing you in the middle of nowhere. The app was great before, keep some ads but without ruining the reader‘s experience

Love the content, but app incomplete. For me it’s important to have a widget I can skip through the headlines, please update!

Journalism great, app navigation weird. All Jazeera is essential to get a wider perspective on what’s going on in the world – in particular the global south. Lately I found more and more heavy bias and framing in, say, German or US news outlets. That said, I wish the app would behave more normal, more standard. I still haven’t figured out how I can make scrolling a news article work as intended. For example, I am still reading the last paragraph, keep scrolling, and then I’m being thrown out to the list/homepage. Scrolling position on the homepage is also not exactly where you left it, so you need to gain orientation all over again. I guess, I want to say, don’t try to be different or fancy in this regard. Scrolling should be only for scrolling, and nothing else. Let a regular back button in the top left do the ‘return to list’. An undemanding and predictable navigation would be much superior. Thanks for considering!

Tap to close and autoplay. I love Al Jazeera for its unbiased news reporting but switching to this new app made me switch back to the browser. Who in the right mind decided that clicking the article should bring them back? Also why do videos autoplay and stop every music playback. It isn’t even possible to browse the articles without music being stopped and some random video being played.

Content still first, new app not yet. The first gripe I have with the new app is, that it doesn’t support horizontal mode. I run it on my tablet and like may users I have a folding case that includes a horizontal stand. That used to be my favorite way to follow news and even in the new app, the format of videos is horizontal. So if you want to watch videos in the app in fullscreen you have to switch to horizontal any way…. Also, I like the way that articles now have embedded related video content, but it would be really helpful to have a overview of new video content and new news stories separately.

شهادة حق. اعتقد ان الجزيرة قناة تنقل الحقائق وأنها اشرف قناة من بين القنوات العربية وانا إذا تابعت الأخبار فلا أثق باي قناة ما عدى قناة الجزيرة في نقل الأخبار.

الاصدار الاخير. تشغيل الفيديو التلقائي في اللاخبار التي تتضمن مقاطع فيديو غير محبب الضغط على طرف الشاشة الايمن يسبب في بعض الاحيان الازعاج تحديدًا عند قراءة المقالات الطويلة حيث يتسبب في العودة الى الصفحة الرئيسية
