About Sorted Returns Center (previously Clicksit)

Sorted Returns Center (previously Clicksit Returns Center), is an automated returns management app for Shopify and Shopify Plus users.

The app includes:

Returns management dashboard

Control and automate all of your returns management. From setting your return rules and windows to tracking progress and getting key insights. You’ll always know exactly where each return is.

Branded returns portal

Let your customers request returns in seconds, on a branded returns portal on your domain – whether they are returning one item or many (no coding required!). You can use our standard returns policy or your own.

The portal is set up instantly on yourdomain.com/a/returns. All your customers need is either their email or mobile number to start their return.

Notifications

Branded customisable email notifications for your customers and progress updates for you and your team to keep everyone in the loop.

Returns labels

Choose from USPS or Collect+ competitive label rates or use your own carriers for InPost. Labels are auto-generated and sent straight to your customers, who pick their drop-off location. Alternatively, upload your own labels.

You decide who pays for the return – whether you want to offer free returns, share the cost with your customers, or even have your customers pay for the full return.

This app doesn't restock items when processing an exchange, you still have to manually do this on the original order in Shopify. You also have to click a button to generate a new order, it's not done automatically.

I'm looking for an app that will ultimately save me time and I don't believe this will do that. There aren't enough email options (e.g. a separate automated email for an exchange vs a return) and so when I tested the app as a pretend customer I was left in the lurch not knowing if my exchange request had been acknowledged/ would be sent out to me. This won't save me time as I'd still have to communicate with the customer separately. It also looks a little clunky.

I am highly disappointed in this app, but even more disappointed in myself for giving them a second try. When I initially signed up for the app, I specifically asked if I would be charged for unused labels if my customers changed their minds and didn't send the merchandise back. I was told no. Additionally, I was offered to upgrade to the premium plan for free if I allowed them to process my return labels. This would be a $50 monthly savings. Fast forward a few months and I was getting charged for unused labels. It was a chore to get the refund back, as I was told I would have to wait for USPS to approve the returns. Do you know how much time it takes to go through each tracking number, request the refund and then make sure to follow up 30 days later? On top of that, I realize they'd been charging me that $50 premium fee every month for 6 months!! Then I had a customer to return a jacket that was lost by the post office. They don't put any insurance on their labels so that $89 jacket was "lost in the mail." I decided to end the service after repeated emails of dissatisfaction. The owner reached out to me, assured me they would issue a refund for all of the unused labels and the monthly fee and paid me half for the jacket. The company was then bought out by Sorted and I was assigned an account manager named Ben. He and I had a zoom call and he asked me to come back to the service and assured me that the issues I'd faced before were taken care of. He even advised that they'd created a dashboard to request labels be deleted or refunded so the customer isn't charged. For some reason, I believed all of this and went back to this app, What a big, stupid mistake I made. Not even 2 months in and I'm having the same issue with the unused labels. The dashboard to request labels be deleted or refunded doesn't work, so you still have to email support with the tracking numbers and request the refund. Then they tell you that you have to wait for USPS to get back with them regarding the refund. Currently I have about 14 labels I'm waiting on a refund for at $7.50 each. Now I'll have to keep checking to make sure I get the refund. Meanwhile, I'm now with ReturnGo. They have a partnership with EasyPost and I'm able to pass the label cost on to the customer right away and not have to worry about this unused label refund foolishness. If you're trying to run your business and don't want the hassle that this app brings, stay away. I will not recommend this app at all.

We've tried a few other returns apps in the past and had given up on using any until we came across Clicksit which is far and away better than anything we have used before. Right from the start, the experience has been first-class, the only app developer to phone us up after installing the app to see if we needed help setting it up. As it turns out, we didn't as following the support documents and video guides make what looks like a daunting task, an absolute doddle and with plenty of customisable options, it's easy to tailor the app to your needs. And, once you've finished setting up, you can fully test it as both the merchant and the customer to gain a full understanding of how it works. Once up and running, returns are a breeze. It used to take us ages processing returns, sending out emails, buying labels and emailing them to customers and just trying to track them; totally inefficient and unprofessional. Now our returns are handled efficiently and professionally with the whole returns process from request through to refund handled solely within the app itself. The system generated Collect+ labels may not be the cheapest, but as you are only charged when they are actually used, it cuts out the waste of sending pre-paid labels to customers who ultimately don't complete their return. Easily merits 5-stars.

This application was really easy to set up and I have been using it almost a year. What’s great about it is that it gives my customers and visitors a sense of security. They know if they want to return something there is a solid system in place. I definitely recommend this application for any ecommerce store that accepts any sort of returns.

So far so good! We use this RMS frequently and it's easy enough. I appreciate all of the auto-generated emails, it's much easier to stay connected with a customer even after the return.

We were unaware of this app until we were contacted by one of their team, Jodie. Jodie was fantastic in explaining the app and providing a demo. She was on hand to provide after installation support. The app itself is very slick, blends into our own website and interface, making it comparable to some of the returns platform featured by high street brands. It has elevated our brand as one customers can trust. Top marks to the team and Jodie in particular.
