QuickBooks Desktop App Description & Overview

Sync your Shopify data with your QuickBooks Desktop automatically with our app.

Our app will sync your Customers, Products, and Orders from Shopify to QuickBooks Desktop.

Daily Automated Sync

Export your Orders, Products & Customer data to your QuickBooks Desktop file automatically. You can choose to set your data sync to Auto mode or prefer to do it manually at your convenience.

Order Sync

The Order sync will happen as it is in your Shopify account. Payments are synced once received as per Shopify. If a payment is received later on, it will be updated in QuickBooks Desktop at that time. Also, cancellations & refunds are synced appropriately.

Products

When our app syncs the orders, it will also sync the associated products to QuickBooks Desktop file exactly like the details in Shopify. Currently, we sync only the products associated with the orders that are synced.

Customers

You may choose to create an individual customer in QuickBooks for all your Shopify customers and use them for orders OR you can select to sync all orders under one dummy customer.

Tax & Shipping lines

We will even sync the Tax lines & Shipping line items to your QuickBooks Desktop file.

MultiCurrency

We support Multi-currency integration as well. If your Store is in one currency and your QuickBooks Desktop file in another, our app will properly sync the data based on the currencies.

Multiple Shopify Stores to 1 QuickBooks Desktop File

QuickBooks Bridge for Desktop allows you to integrate more than one Shopify store to your QuickBooks Desktop file. This way you do not have to manage multiple QuickBooks Desktop files for each different store. (Need an app subscription for each store)

Additional Features
  • Inventory Sync - Sync the quantities from QuickBooks to Shopify with this feature.
  • UOM Mapping - Match the Item name of Shopify with the relevant UOM for purposes of Invoice creation
  • Bundle/Assembly Support - Auto Map Shopify products to Bundle/Assembly products in QuickBooks and create a proper invoice based on the constituents rather than creating a dummy product
  • Inventory Site Mapping - You can send specific orders to the relevant Warehouse/Inventory site in QuickBooks based on some parameters.

Additional features might have an add-on charge based on feature. Orders prior to 2 months will be synced for an additional fee based on order volume.

This app is ideal for stores based in following countries: United States, UK & Canada.

This app works only for QuickBooks Desktop based softwares such as QuickBooks Pro, QuickBooks Premier, QuickBooks Enterprise,etc. Our app currently works only with QuickBooks on Windows. It does not work with QuickBooks for Mac. The app does not work with QuickBooks POS versions.

We are stuck with Quickbooks for now, I don't like it since it was sold to us like an ERP but is just accountant/inventory software. Anyhow, this app is specifically to connect your Shopify ecommerce with Quickbooks Desktop and works perfect. The customer service is quick, efficient, very clear and helpfull. So to this specific app, I give 5 stars. Customer service email is: qbspsupport@parextech.com Be aware that this app and customer service are just related to the Shopify-Quickbooks Desktop connection/integration. They can't provide support regarding how Quickbooks works. That has to be directly with Quickbooks.

This app saves me many hours of manually entering our daily sales! Each sale is detailed in QB and can easily be verified by our bank deposits. My only suggestion would be a daily entry instead of an entry for each transaction, but it is working great as it is. The support for this app is quick, accurate and friendly. I highly recommend it!

The setup is simple, the connection is stable, and it works exactly as it should. We now have all of our orders syncing with QuickBooks! Customer support is very responsive and has addressed any issue we've had within 24 hours—definitely a company you can trust. Install with confidence, My only slight complaint (which is not necessarily this softwares fault) is large volume stores may have an issue with syncing payouts if you are using Right Networks to host your Quickbooks. Right Networks will disconnect after 2 hours of inactivity and this software requires the sync to be running non-stop for longer (8 hours a day) for stores with lots of daily sales.

With something that syncs financial data its extremely important that its stable and has good support. This app has been very stable and the sync meets our needs. When we hit an issue with sales tax caused by another app integration the team worked hard to resolve and we are very happy with the app and support.

This app is amazing! I can't even calculate how many hours and days of my life I've reclaimed from manually inputting invoices. It works great with more involved Quickbooks Desktop inventory as well and also works on a remote desktop. The support is great as well, they are quick to respond by email and will take the time to help resolve any issues in the background remotely. I can't tell you how happy I am!

We were using a different app that had both terrible customer service and a skyrocketing price. I'm really glad we gave this app a try even though it didn't have very many reviews. They have been very helpful in configuring the syncing of our sales receipts from Shopify into our QB system. Great app! It effectively takes the worry and hassle out of making entries into Quickbooks. The setup was challenging, but the Parex team provided excellent and timely support. Once the app was adapted to our specific setup, the results were amazing! Entries to QB are now automatic and accurate. We no longer have to create an invoice and other entries for each order, which is what we had done for years. The app does it all for us!

If you are a shopify store, etsy or amazon and struggling to bring your data to Quickbooks to manage your accounting, there is no better app than this. This is the first app which support unit measures. I believe, it is a major issue with any other app on the shopify store. I would say it will save your minimum of 100 hours a month for sure. Their service is up to the mark. They have done everything to support our local accounting copy to make the data more accurate. We are haveing multiple unit measures in our shop and it works like PRO! The best part is, it would deduct the right unit measure and helps you to manage your inventory in Quickbooks. They understand Quickbooks more than Quickbooks guyz itself. Thank you for developing such an amazing app.

If you use QBks Desktop and are needing to sync your sales from Shopify, this is the app I would recommend. Customer service is superb and they'll help you get it setup specific to your needs. It's so great being able to get it all setup, switch it to automatic mode, and then know that the order will just "be there" in QBks when you go looking for it.

The customer service has been phenomenal. We use QuickBooks Desktop, and coming from Connex due to their pricing structure. There were some unique variables we had in place due to Connex's sync, and the support at Parex was outstanding in getting our app to sync using the same strategy without losing any data. I'd give them 6 stars out of 5 if I could. Well done team, keep up the great work.

You can not use this app with QB desktop pro point of sale 19. The QB web connector needed is outdated and has an expired license that wont allow it to work. The tech support was not helpful when we reported this.
