Twitter App Description & Overview

Bring your products to Twitter to drive sales from your most leaned-in audience. We know people already come to Twitter everyday to talk about the products and brands they love. Twitter is home to millions of people who come to Twitter to discover new products, talk about their purchases, and engage with brands directly — and now you can leverage the power of this public conversation to drive results.

With Twitter Shopping, you can surface your most impactful products directly on your profile in a Shop Spotlight or Twitter Shop. A Shop Spotlight is an always-on window shopping experience that supports up to 5 products; while a Twitter Shop is a fully-immersive and customizable virtual storefront that supports up to 50.

Shoppers in the US can easily find your products on your Twitter profile and scroll through to browse. They’ll be taken directly to your website’s product landing page to learn more and checkout, all within an in-app browser.

Your Twitter Shopping presence can be managed through a completely self-serve, easy-to-use flow within Twitter Shopping Manager that connects seamlessly to your Shopify product catalog. Updates are synced regularly and can be managed directly from your Shopify account.

Available to all US-based merchants.

I synced my store to Twitter shopping and i am running into an issue. Most of the products in my store come in multiple sizes -- Twitter counts each product variant as an individual product. Since Twitter only allows 50 products in a feed, my shop is really only showing about 16 products. It would be much more efficient to have individual products on the shop feed, that you can then click on and select your size. Right now i only see the option to show the same product(s) variants as separate "products". Is anyone else having this problem?

Twitter was so easy to set up with Shopify. I was able to set up my Twitter Shop account within 10 minutes. Effortless!!! Great new feature.

Does not update feed from the sync. Well I need a hundred characters but see the first few lines it says what I wanted to!

(United States)

Insanely awful integration. I have reintegrated five times and still cannot use the app. Really poor.

This has been the easiest storefront to set up. It took less than 15 minutes to sync with my Shopify store.

(United States)

Not user friendly. Very strange to have some items pulled to be able to use. Mostly weird items that are not even actually for sale on my site. Then, when I do find a product that I want to put into a set I can't because my pictures are all too small. The way my template of my store works is that I use 212 x 250px. I would need to re-do all of my pictures to make it work. Plus, I tried to re-do one to see if I could get it to work and it doesn't.

Amazingly simple setup. I just needed to relax and concentrate on the details, drink some coffee, and returned back with a better focus. All in all I enjoyed the process.

(United States)

Synced successful, but it's terribly setup. Let's say I have a t-shirt for sale with various sizes and colors. You can't simply go to Twitter and select that shirt, you have to select every color and size imaginable to add it to a product set. It's insane.

(United States)

To make this more useable, Twitter could put all the variants into 1 listing... It's also difficult to read what each variant is because the product titles are cut off. Double-line product titles could be implemented to fix that... It was easy enough to integrate and set up. Just needs more time in the oven to become a great feature.

Reached out to help and nobody can figure out how to make this work for me. I'm going in circles. Account is connected but no products so go to products, Shopify and it takes me to the app that says I'm connected then back to the page where I need to add products. Again, click on Partner Connection and go to the app store where it says I'm connected and ... getting nowhere.

Had to leave a review because of all the bad reviews. If you are going to add this app -- know that once you connect your account - give it a day to propagate. It's NOT instant. And they tell you that in the notes, documentation, etc. Once you see the actual products in your Twitter dashboard -- you'll want to go to the Twitter "Shopping Manager" -- it will be a new dashboard. Create a SHOP and SHOP SPOTLIGHT. Name them and add products. You will see an image of the storefront on the right -- it will be a twitter image, but you won't see any of your products. It will seem broken. It's not. IMPORTANT: The storefront ONLY works on the app -- so you don't see it load on your Twitter profile on your desktop. Open the app on your phone and you'll see the store and shop spotlight once you load your profile. I hope that helps! The app is good - it's easy. The problem is expectations - we expect it to work like other apps here - let that go! Great app - nice to have a new place to promote products --

Every time I try to have the products all sync it always make me come to this page. I am not understanding why. For the products that have sync, I don't understand why all of the products did not sync. Also I am not understanding why my product sets are not showing on my site. If all products sets will show than what is the point of it when you just can put all products instead of trying to group them. My pictures for half my products aren't showing

(United States)

i couldnt even add products. i did not want to maually add products so i chose connect to partner and it just sends me back to shopify its a pointless cycle

Seems like everything is published and active on Shopify... but my spotlight is not showing up on my Twitter profile. How do I troubleshoot this?

(United States)

Horrible. Stuck in a loop that keeps asking us to install the app. app is and has been installed but still the loop. Not recommended at all.

(United States)

We're stuck in an endless loop after connecting Twitter. It says our products are synced and we're ready to set up our store front. We click the button to add products from our Shopify, then it leads us back to this page to add the app, which we have done. I can't do anything from this page now except read reviews and leave my own. I can't get any products to show on our Twitter account.

(United States)

I connected the Twitter sales channel, i created a products set and a already set up the storefront and it says its active (in the twitter shopping manager), but in my profile i can’t see the products catalog. Why?

(United States)

We were pleased with the ease to which to get our products on our Twitter channel and now that we are integrated the maintenance issue has gone away. I think we still need to figure out how to move Twitter users into buying through Twitter but the integration here is solid and pain free.

(United States)

My account is published and active on Shopify... but my Twitter profile is empty, I can't see nothing. How do I troubleshoot this?

(United States)

this doesnt seem functional. only a few of my items synced with twitter. i dont see it on twitter. im not happy with this.
