T‑Selector (VAT Switcher) App Description & Overview

1. Display price with or without VAT/TAX on Home, collection and product pages!

Let your customers choose to see the price as they want just by clicking one button in a pop up, floating widget or an inline switcher placed in the header.

Set how long the app will remember the customers choice, between 1 and 365 days.

2. Multi store ready - Translate and set VAT rates

Translate everything in the app and set VAT rates for the countries you are selling towards.

3. Use for more then just B2B & B2C purpose.

Translate the app and let customers see price excluding TAX if they buy outside of Australia and including TAX if they buy within Australia as an example.

4. Avoid getting banned from Google Merchant center with dual pricing apps

Problem with many dual pricing apps is that they show 3 or 4 prices if a product have a promotion going on. Google only allows a maximum of 2 prices and can stop Google Shopping Feeds because of this.

5. Choose Between 3 Different Ways To Display The App.
  • Pop-up

With the pop-up each individual customer will be asked to select if they buy as an individual or as a business. (You can translate as you wish so it fits you needs)

If they select individual they will see prices including VAT and if they choose business they will see prices excluding VAT.

You can change colors, design and message in the pop-up to match your store.

  • Inline Switcher

Let customers change if they want to see prices including or excluding VAT anytime on your store with the optional inline switcher.

The inline switcher can be placed in the header or menu on both desktop and mobile.

  • Floating Widget

Let customers change if they want to see prices including or excluding VAT anytime on your store with the optional floating widget.

The floating widget can be placed in either corner on the page, both on mobile and desktop.

You can upload your own icon and change colors to match your brand.

6. Be Crystal Clear With The Inbuilt Price Helper

Show all customers if the price is including VAT or excluding VAT. The price helper adds this after the price in your store. (This is also translatable, you can have "outside UK" and "UK price" as an example.) For example "£58 GBP (excl. VAT)" and "£58 GBP (incl. VAT)"

7. Multilingual And Multiple VAT Rates

Translate and set VAT rates for all countries you are selling towards. T-Selector is compatible with Shopify Markets and will show the right price for all customers.

8. What T-Selector doesn't do

The app does not change price in the checkout, this information comes straight from Shopify and can be set under "Taxes and duties".

It seemed good app, but customer support is very strange not interested in helping or improving in any way. Asked why do we need their app if we have this option in our store already... price is pretty high and description is confusing... stated that with the basic plan they offer one store and one language, no word about one currency and in the settings they have option for multi currency. Anyway there are better apps.
