Simply Guitar - Learn Guitar

Great app, but... I decided to try out the free 7 day trial and so far I think its great. Im considering paying and trying it out for a month or two because im making alot of progress and learning alot, but it has some big problems when it comes to leads and plucking because it dosen’t always pick up the sound of the different strings, especially the lower ones (Even though my guitar is tuned.) This is really annoying when you are actually playing correctly and it restarts the song and progress. So concidering the price you are paying per month I really think this problem should be fixed soon.

I love the app. The app is great but it costs money! I know you guys need to earn money but I was so happy when I got to learn then I had to pay:( so I dint pay:(

I truly hoped this would have been a great app, but got disappointed as soon as I almost finished the first course and had to PAY to play the actual song… this is extremely frustrating as I don’t have the money to play. I’d love to play using this app but it’s as it is. One star from me since you can’t play more than a course, which you don’t even get to finish.

Don’t download. This game won’t even let you finish the first trail. It cost money, oh you want to try some simple new cords? Yes, that will be 20 dollars every month. I just wanted to do some guitar man.

Troubles with SimplyGuitar help me please. I am on the first level and I’m trying to get to the next level, but it just sets swipe with your two finger to continue and I’m sweating but nothing is happening and I am stuck at the same place and I cannot move on

Disappointed. It is a good app and it theses u of you can pay 1750,00 per year. At first I thought it was a perfect app but I saw the premium membership.

To expensive. I’m 13 and I really want to learn how to play the guitar, and I thought “hey why not try this app”. I did the course and learned how to play some chords and I learned what frets were. After I’d finished I realised it cost a buttload of money, disappointed. Id rather have ads instead of premium subscription.

Great app!. I learned EM Chord in under 10 min and its a Great app! But i think it should have a free option so i dont have to pay to learn to play my guitar.

Veldig skuffet. Jeg syns det var en ok app før jeg så at det kostet penger. Helt tullete. Man kan lære bedre av andre apper der man ikke trenger å betale for å lære seg gitar. De stjeler bare penger. Og gitaren min ble stemt helt feil. Kanskje fiks sånn at folk som ikke kan betale kan også bruke appen deres, og fiks det med stemmingen.

expensive. everything costs money

Almost no new content. Loved the app at first, really good. But when you have done all the courses, you have to wait for new content for like half a year, and then be done with it in a couple of hours/days. And it is expencive.

The app is not able to tune my gitare. When i tried to tune my gitar it Said ether to hige or to low. And now my gitare sounds like a mess thanks to You guys

“Steal all your money”. This is an app where you can play guitar as a noob. And it cost you ALOT of money. It’s better to learn from YouTube guys . This app is very bad

Very disappointed. In the app you start as a noob and you have a lot of fun using the app, but then they start taking your money by making you pay for every song and for premiumship. Very disappointed

Only three stars…. Almost every thing costs! I can’t learn any of my favorite songs without needing to pay, I also can’t skip the first lessons before I have done them, this is extremely boring because I have played guitar a million times before and I know the basics! But if you are a complete beginner this is a nice way to learn guitar!

Watch your bank account. Watch the small print people , many apps today are with subscriptions. Don’t have a problem with that. Monthly subscriptions are easy to manage and cancel. This one however takes a year at a time at not cheap at that. With auto renewal and many hoops to jump through to cancel. Sudden lump sum missing from bank account. Its nothing to do with as the developer claims ‘for your convenience’ and everything to do with raking in as much cash as possible from unsuspecting users who want to get started quickly and trust everything in intentionally boring small print is ethical.

Not Worth The Money!. Around 2 years ago I downloaded Simply Piano, which helped me learn a lot, but it was really frustrating that the app wouldn’t always listen to the notes I played, even though I did it right. So here I am today, we had a task in school- to play parts of a song on a guitar. We have 2 guitars at home, so I knew that I could have extra time to practice. I started to learn a song with many chords, which went alright. But it was a little hard, and I’ve heard of the SimplyGuitar app, so I thought it would maybe help me get better. So I convinced my dad to buy it to me and I’m already disappointed. I feel really bad for making him spend so much money on an app that doesn’t listen to when I play. I have to replay the songs over and over again, and now my guitar makes a weird sound every time I play on it. I’m really disappointed, since it’s so expensive- if I took my time to learn chords by watching YouTube tutorials and more, I would probably learned faster. I really regret buying it, and I’m currently crying because I feel bad. I know the app itself is good, but its 2022, it shouldn’t be to hard to make an app that listens correctly to what you play!

I am so rich. App very good for small Price, i learned how to play every song behind my back while i am showering. 5 stars i recomend getting it.

Easy to to use, easy to learn. People complain about the price, but take into consideration that this app has reactive feedback and simple tricks and tips along the way. Imagine if you pay for piano lessons and they are 20$ a lesson. One lesson a month in one year would cost twice as much as this app that you can use however much you want and it has guitar lessons included. People can continue to complain but im really enjoying it.

best guitar app in the Apple store. It helped me so much and one funny thing is when I look at the chords it says need money when I can just download simply tune and can practice chords for free and tune for free this is actually I’m favorite guitar app I downloaded.

You have to pay to learn. The bad thing about this game is that you can learn a little bit before you have to pay to get any longer. I just wanted to learn to play guitar but i have to pay to learn. DONT waiste your time on this app.

Exspensive. I was ready to play my first song, but then the game says you have to use much money on a stupid premium thing! I got to play for 20 minutes, and I was ready to become good at the guitar but I couldn’t! In your add it says that it will make it easy to play guitar, but it’s not when you have to pay for it! Many people don’t have that much money, and then they can’t learn how to play just because they can’t afford 198 dollars each year?! I think you should have more open lessons, so that only a few songs cost money, and the other lessons are free. If you had done that I think so many more had installed your game and learned how to play guitar.

Huge scam and waste of time. It wasted my time and didnt say it was going to cost money for all the content except for a little tutorial at the start.

unexpected but disappointed. At first I thought it was cool and all it learned me some basic stuff but when it actually came to playing the song I had to buy premium to do really anything on the app. I don’t know if I’m doing something wrong or if I really don’t have any access unless I pay forgive me if I’m wrong.

Expensive. This app says that you’re going to learn a lot, but then it wants you to pay for literally everything. I agree that some songs can have a premium membership thingy, but NOT ALL OF THE GODDAMN SONGS! FIX YOUR APP!
