Good, but you have to pay. The app is very good, although after the first lesson you can’t go further without paying...

Vurdering. Den gir bra motivasjon til og forsette og man lærer bra, men innsiden er litt rotete og det kan være vanskelig og forstå hvor man har kommet hvis man går ut av forelesningen.

Veldig bra. Det starter superenkelt i det små, deler opp til enkeltord og bilder og uttale, som gjør at ord og uttrykk fester seg bedre. Da jeg brukte 15-30min hver dag i 3mnd hadde jeg lært meg kjempe mye av dagligdagse uttrykk og små setninger. Jeg bestemte meg da for å kjøpe lifetime for alle språk da jeg synes det er godt oppbygd og kunne tenke meg å lære andre språk også! Grunnen til at jeg gir 4stjerner og ikke 5, er fordi jeg syntes det ved et punkt i kurset ble plutselig, i min mening, litt vanskelig i forhold til hva kurset har lært meg tidligere. Med det mener jeg at setningene var lenger og litt «tyngre» enn f.eks kurset rett før, så jeg synes det var litt tungt til å være en del av nybegynner kurset. Men jeg har tatt det opp igjen etter jeg kjøpte det og selv om jeg ikke alltid husker ordene selv, så forstår jeg det når jeg hører det og kan kjenne de igjen når jeg ser det skrevet! For kontekst så ønsket jeg først å lære polsk for å kunne snakke med polske mennesker på arbeidsplassen. Det har vært så utrolig hyggelig å kunne snakke litt med dem da ikke alle kan så mye engelsk. Jeg har fått skryt av polske folk jeg ikke kjenner om at jeg uttaler ordene veldig bra, og det gir jo lyst til å fortsette! Anbefaler Babbel til alle som ønsker å lære et nytt språk.

Old version is better. This version you can’t stop in the middle of lesson and continue from where we stop. It starts the whole lesson again. The voice that reads the text is too slow. It’s takes long time before start speaking. The old version was much better

A. Do I have to pay for next chapter?

Way too expensive for polyglots. Nice and intuitive interface and effortless memorizing but since I am studying more than one language (currently studying my 6th and 7th (Russian and Korean)) and one of them doesn’t even exist in the app I even considered starting on a new language journey and start learning Turkish since I enjoyed the app. However that was before I saw that the price doubles if you want to learn two languages and you, seemingly cannot get anything else but expensive offers. So for me it is way, way too expensive. But for those studying just one (more common) language I guess it’s a suitable app.

Fraud. Stay away. Takes money without a subscription.

svensk og fransk.. det er ikke helt enkelt for en norsk elev å forholde seg til to språk samtidig! jeg behersker ikke så godt svensk, ofte må jeg søke opp svenske ord for å se betydningen på fransk og norsk! Dette er tidkrevende! Harald.

Like a tuition. Different than other apps, here you have explanation on why some things are the way they are. The app is also beautiful and easy to use. On the down side you have the keyboard, which is weird; there’s no way to go back on a particular exercise you want to review. I would also love to have a better layout when images are used, I believe they make the learning process easier, but here they are very small and don’t take advantage of the smartphone screen. One last complaint: typos, I do it all the time and it annoys me to get a wrong answer because of that, the app could easily sign that up so I could correct it Overall I believe it’s the best app to learn a language from scratch, but it really need some big improvements to make it a killer.

Bug in the app. There is a bug in the app. After a few minutes of usage, the phone invariably gets very hot, driven by extreme CPU activity. Battery consumption runs sky high. The problem is solved by killing the app, but the issue is very annoying.

Schwierig etwas zu finden. Ich habe vor Jahren bei Babbel spanisch gelernt. Viel hat sich geändert und ich kann die Kapittel der Grammatikk Nicholas finden, die ich wiederholen will. Z.b. Subjuntivo

Best mobile solution for learning. This is so far the easiest, most in-depth course I’ve seen for mobile users yet. Using Audible audiobooks alongside this and I am pretty sure you can learn any of the languages offered down to a native spec. Good luck!

Good for grammar learning. Would give a 5 star if you could hide some words/phrases that you know well. Definitely the best language learning app. It explains grammar well and the voices are not robotic so you can hear how words are actually pronounced. It’s great for beginners.

Not good neeed to have Norwegian too in Spanish. I think you should add Norwegian too so i can learn more i need to learn spanish and I’m not so god in english so add Norwegian in Spanish

Great app but please add support for iOS 13. Just waiting for the iOS 13 support as I already shifted to the public beta. The app doesn’t display the selection options correctly on iOS 13.

Would not recommend.. Was very surprised to see that I had been charged 40 euros for this app, and now it will not let me unsubscribe. It says it’s only possible to cancel subscription in the website, but as soon as you log in to the website via web browser you are redirected to your app, which doesn’t allow canceling subscription. Would not recommend.

Good. It is so fun and you learn really well

Only a few Languages. I want to learn Tagalog (Filipino) but they don’t have this yet.

Doesnt work. The beginner course 1 doesnt work when im learning dutch. I went straight to course 2. But I really like this app, so good way on learning

Need more languages. I just downloaded this app and i really wanted to learn a new language. I wanted to learn korean but it isnt an opsion for that so i just wish you could put more languages to this app. Like Korean and chinese! Thank you!

Missing norwegian alphabet in keyboard. When I have to complete a sentence that requires norwegian letters I don't have them in my keyboard so therefore it comes out like a mistake when I try to type, tho its just an issue with picking right letter that I don't have. I tried to see in settings if I can change the keyboard but I had trouble finding it!

Stop the billing!. Remember to stop the billing! There is no reminder. They’ll wait for you to forget, then charge you.

Need more vocabulary amd information. I feel that you need to give us more information about the vocabulary and a preview before you ask the questions

Eg lærer spansk!. Godt pedagogisk oppbygd! Det er svært ofte teknologien ikkje virkar på opptaka «press and hold». Det er veldig irriterande å måtte gå til det neste, og så oppleve det same der! No har eg ny og betre mobil, men same feilen oppstår der! Kan det rettast på?

Most stupid app I’ve EVER tried. This app is so badly developed it’s ridiculous. It wants me to type out a letter in the language I’m learning, but it has literally blocked every keyboard except British English! HOW AM I GONNA DO IT IF YOU DONT LET ME USE THE KEYBOARD OF THE LANGUAGE IM LEARNING? Horrible HORRIBLE app, wouldn’t recommend AT ALL

Workbook for learning words and grammar. The app works much like an old analog workbook for learning words and grammar. The grammar is explained in English, not in my native tongue. If your not familiar whit the terminology of English grammar it gets quite complicated to understand the explanation when things get advanced. The app is not a place where you can practice conversation. It makes my vocabulary quite passive. When I speak to the microphone I am not sure the app catch what I pronounce or it is too strict. When I get it wrong and get back what I have pronounced to the microphone in phonetic notation it looks strange. The phonetic notation of my own pronunciation I get back is definitely not right. I am not sure this function works very well. Be aware! This app has automatic renewal. According to their website there should be a cancel automatic renewal button on the account information site. So far I have not been able to find it. When you try to send a mail about the problem you don’t get answers. Not a good way to handle customers. I have read your answer. Why not start with confirming by mail that my automatic renewal is canceled?

Best language learning app. I'm doing the Italian course, and Babbel has helped me so much. They teach you words and phrases as a theme, like "going shopping" or "on vacation" - so what you learn actually feels useful in those scenarios. Grazie mille, Babbel! Sei fantastico!

Fin app til å lære språk. Verdt pengene

Lost all progress. This is second time that I’ve lost all my progress in the app for no reason. I was logged on earlier. When I got back now, not only my password was not valid but my progress had gone. This is not very nice.

Everything costs money. Almost everything costs money on this app like I just want to learn Spanish but then after I do one lesson I can’t do anymore because it costs money. But other than that it’s a good app.

No do overs :(. The app used to tell me how many I got wrong & give the option to go back & try again until correct, now it tells me how many I got wrong, but just continues forward... I do not feel this is an effective learning method, it is very frustrating & not fun

Ikke fungerer. Med iOS 13 fungerer ingenting.

Bait and switch!!. They’ll make it seem as if though the app is for free only to make you realize you’d have to pay after giving them your details.

Error - doesn’t work, no access?!?. I recently paid for a new period, subscribed, but there is only this Message of «Error -try again later», when I log in to use «Babbel». I expect to hear from you soon, fix it or refund my money.

God språkopplæring. Veldig mye bra, men savner muligheten for å kunne bla gjennom tidligere gjennomgått grammatikkregler

Very good and entertaining.. I am using this app to improve my Spanish and German and I find it both good, efficient and fun to use (to the extent language training can be fun...).

Fin app, store begrensninger. Appen sier selv den kan "lære" deg språk, denne appen lærer deg de mest simple ord og setninger, men om du er interresert i å lære et språk er denne appen en bedre start enn andre. Veldig fint design, veldig pedagogisk satt opp, fin app.

Effective language learning. Babbel provides excellent feedback and highly accurate voice recognition, which really helps your pronunciation! The dialogues are more realistic than the equivalent user generated software, at least for learning German (probably their best language course).

Meget god. Lærerik. Repeterer viktige ord og uttrykk. Lærer uttale. Anbefales

App. En dårlig app fordi når jeg skal lære meg engelsk. Så er det ikke norsk til å oversette til meg .

Dårlig. Hvis du først installerer, har du løpende utgifter hver måned som trekkes 3 måneder om gangen.

God app. Veldig bra

Super!. Savner muligheten til å søke og/eller finne igjen hvor jeg lærte om et gitt verb, f.eks., men ellers er appen veldig bra. Enkel og grei, stabil og pedagogisk lagt opp!

Limited. Nice concept but very limited. It only provides lessons on a very basic level.

That's what I was looking for!. I'm very happy for this apps, learning language in bus going to work... Learn write and listen in once... When I was learning from book, my problem was to pronounce ... This solve my problem... And I love the way I can learn also grammar ... Really very helpful... Just I recommend to who needs to study...

Great app :). Would be happier though, if it was possible to pay only once, a higher price. Maybe I'll have time once or twice a month, so monthly payment seems a bit wasteful. Also on the wish list, to learn Croatian, will it be available?

The Best!. Totally worth the money spent.

Gøy måte å lære på!. Her lærer man på alle måter! Tale, skrive, bilder osv! Gjør det lett og gøy å lære. Kursene er korte nok, slik at du fullfører!

Pass!. Purchased, doesn't recognise purchase. Contacted customer service - got a useless reply. Doesn't recognise previous level, start at scratch every time. USELESS!

A grat way to learn something new!. the only downside is that you have to pay monthly to get access to som guides.

Love it. Easy to use, a little pricey, but cheaper and more conveniant than hireing a tutor or goong to classes. Hope you will add chinese mandarin and japanese soon!

Useful learning step by step. Start with basic at the bottom and build up your grammar- and vocabularskills
