Great but missing a lot of books!. Missing a lot of books which I would like to see. Such as Alex Hormozies books. Yet an awesome app

Spam, low quality content and non-existent customer service. This is probably the worst app available in the App Store.

Vedran. Abysmal. Headway offers AI-generated summaries that peel away any substance that the original material might have had. I listened to a few summaries of books I had actually read and they were so simplified that they ended up being unrecognisable. An insult to the people who wrote the source material. Put on a podcast. This is ridiculous.

Great. Great app with tonns of value

Rich Dad’s Cashflow quadrant. Headway is a good way to get back to reading if you stopped reading for whatever reason. You get the key points from each book and you ease back into reading again!

Convenient app to have.. Easy to use and aesthetically pleasing. One of my daily apps.

You will get spammed with emails!. Got spammed with 26 emails the first 5 days after trying out their app. Emails I never signed up for. Trying to unsubscribe, conveniently for them, only unsubscribes you from 1 of their x number of mailing list. Can’t find any option in the app unsubscribe. If you do want to use their services, don’t sign up for their yearly subscription. If you choose not to sign up to any plans you will be asked why. Press “too expensive” and you will be offered 50% off!

Won’t stop charging you!. Do not get a subscription!! I've had one and ended it, but now headway won't stop charging me.

Cash grabbing Inconvenince machine. I have tried multiple times to cancel my subscription, with no luck. Ive tried customer support with little to no response. It has accumulated 4x payments i did not want to give. Ultimately i had to delete my account in order to stop the payments. Usell UI. Dont download

Looks legitimate but SCAMS you!. I agreed to a free trial with a 14.95$ subscription at the end of the trial. I found out today, that they charged me 3 times in January (extra 9.99$ and 19.99$) and today they charged 40.80$. (A 3 month subscription on top of the monthly). I have gone in to my account on their webpage and cancelled the subscription 3 times, but still it remains active. I have now filed fraud charges through my credit card company and PayPal. To those who have this app, please check your bank statements for GTHW app unlimited and report. Apple should ban the app and others that don’t take their payment through App Store. They leave polite answers here in the App Store, claiming it’s the users fault. But I never used the app, so in-app purchases is impossible an does not explain 3 charges to my card in January, nor does it explain the monthly and 3-month subscription being charged at the same time. They answered PayPal that I had opted for it, but again; I never used the app or visited the website after the initial registration. Search online and find a ton of other people that have the same experience! Please check you card statement for GTHW app unlimited if you have this app.

Great. This app is great!

Scam. These guys withdraw your money even after cancelling. I have opened a support case with Apple and paypal where they silently had taken my money. It’s now near $200 and i don’t even use the app. They also charge me for products i did not opt in for.

Recommend for adhd patients. Easy to follow the steps in the app, and by using it as a audio book it makes it easier to get my attention and focus. Especially when the tarrorter only reads the highlights of each chapter of books and teams u are interested in

Thomas. Stopp all the time. Takes long to start and pauses in the playback all the time. You have a good business plan with terrible execution. As it is now the app is useless

Voices. I can’t stand the voices of the readers. Sounds like stressed robots ffs.

Good content, poor tech performance. Frequent issues with starting summaries. The support proposal is to uninstall the app and reinstalling it. Then it works for maybe a few days.

William. Was unaware of being put up for subscription after my 3 month membership. All of a sudden I got charged 50USD for 3 new months after not having been informed at all. They refused giving me a refund.

Be aware for add-ons. Unfortunately it is really simple to just add extra packages which I did by mistake signing up. They charged me immediately and the price was not very visible (infographics) I cancelled within 2 minutes and tried to get it refunded but it was not possible and they do not honor regulations in regards of right of withdrawal on internet purchases. Looken at The infographics and it was really bad as well. Cancelled the main subscription as well due to poor quality and customer service

Very expensive app. Very expensive and most importantly does not deliver its promisses. Also, they have a ‘no refund’ policy, no matter what. Personally, don’t recommend.

Weak content. Weak generic summaries (compared to actually reading the books), computer voice, extra products pushed onto users, email spam, but okay design. Wouldn’t buy though.

Naah... I can’t stand the voices this app is using, especially the man. It’s only two voices, one man and one lady, and you can’t choose. It’s very expencive too. I used it alot in the beginning, but now i never using it, because of the voices - i can’t focus.

Healthy habits.. Headway helps me to get the most out of my life. I am a high performing, father of two, with a hectic work- and private life. With headway I can get the main points, of the best books. This helps me to learn, and keep mental focus, event tho I do not have the time to read for hours at a time. With headway, ten minutes every day is fulfilling. Thanks for making this app!

Not worth it. I was charged a $100 by this app after wanting to test it. I tried getting a refund as I was not aware that it was a subscription, but with no luck. With that money out the window I thought I might as well make use of the app, but most of the books are read by a computer which makes it extremely difficult to listen to. Not only that, but when listening to a book, it stops between every chapter and won’t continue unless I unlock my phone, go into the app and press “next”. A serious waste of money and not an app I would recommend to anybody.

Love the content hate the narrator. Most narrators are good but I can not stand that main male narrator, it’s just something weird about the way he talks, it just sounds really unnatural

Horrible app. Difficult to navigate, misleading if you want to unsubscribe, and constant pop-ups. Even though I pay, I am constantly accosted to pay more. Will not use again, should have listened to my friend who had previously used it. Waste of money. Edit; I just realised the “Delete account”-button does not work! What kind of scam is this?

Paid extra for an option I didn’t want to. I think I signed up because I saw an ad on Facebook. By mistake I clicked on an extra add-on and in the funnel there was no way to go back and remove this. I felt the funnel was not user-friendly and I ended up paying extra for something I didn’t want. :(

Ok for no paying users. Without any subscription you get one free daily summary. It can be nice for someone like me who just want a little more knowledge a day. But the free summaries are often not related to your interests. There is also a lot of subscription promotion, that can be overwhelming for some….

Can’t use the app. It’s incredibly easy to unintentionally purchase more than just a regular subscription. When I noticed I had been charged twice, the response I received was that, unfortunately, they couldn’t do anything about it. Getting started with this app is also extremely difficult, with numerous steps that lead you into a loop, prompting you to buy more rather than accessing the content. I still haven’t been able to use it, as it’s stuck on “confirming the email,” and the link isn’t working properly. The feedback I received seems to be an automated response. In my opinion, the concept is good, but the app is absolutely useless.

Regret paying. Tested with some books read in full. The summaries are very weak.

Why can I not give zero stars?. I unsubscribed in December 2023, Headway is still withdrawing money from my account this October. But I can’t find contact information on their website🤬 Also the content was very generic and all the books started to sound the same with the same obvious highlights.

Paul. Puts your mind at ease, apps like TikTok and Instagram are frying my brain, letting go has been more than helpful.

Love it. So far I love it! So nice to have micro versions of books read to you.
