Before trying Novel, the last NFT project I was involved in spent about a month and ~$50k in total development costs, from making the smart contract to web3 calls and coding the custom website. Novel replicated just about everything we did for that project and then some, with zero code. It's really a no brainer. We just drag and dropped our assets into the generative editor, set our drop and release date, and out came a fully baked contract deployed to the Polygon mainnet! From start to finish, the process couldn't have taken more than half an hour, and most of that was waiting for our assets to upload. Now here is the really crazy part. This project's model was pretty unique. The actual NFTs were completely free of charge to mint. We put QR codes in easter eggs and scattered them all over Wynwood in Miami. People would randomly find the eggs, possibly with zero knowledge of what a wallet, MATIC, or even an NFT was. The buyer would then check out through Novel, which would mint their NFT, totally free of charge, creating a wallet for them if they didn't have one. Then the secondary sales are where we collect our royalties. This model would be literally impossible without Novel. At the very least a buyer would need a wallet with some MATIC for GAS fees. With Novel, all of that is drastically simplifed. The wallet is generated for the buyer, and they receive their NFT, in a wallet, for free. No credit card required even. Over one fifth of the eggs we hid were actually minted. Well over half the users who scanned our QR codes actually went through with a mint. We did not expect that kind of conversion. It would not be possible if we did a standard non-Shopify based drop, and impossible without a tool like Novel to power it. Novel lowers the bar for NFT launches so dramatically for both the creator and first time buyer. I would strongly recommend it for your next project.

Love the simplicity! We demoed several products and found them to be pretty technical or incomplete, Novel could do every single thing we wanted and did it in a totally intuitive way. I’m not an engineer and was expecting to need to hire one but with their tools I could control everything myself.

This app is the first of its kind for stores looking to attract a web3 customer. It enables the user to seamlessly purchase an NFT without having a crypto wallet and fire all the blockchain lifting on the backend.
