It's okay. Great for getting email subscribers but they are just a bunch of people signing up to get something for free and not people who are actually interested in what you are selling. If you need emails it serves the purpose.

Just started using Fishbowl a few days ago after a previous experience with another contest app that generated very few email addresses. Fishbowl is by far the better of the two! They recommend that you run a compelling giveaway. We listed ours and within 2 days we have increased our email list by over 3,000%! I had a few questions early last evening and received a response back from their support within an hour, if it took that long.

Great app! We accrue over 1000 new emails at Mr. Pineapple with every giveaway we do. It builds lists fast and easy. However, it is good to note that you must apply some strategy to emailing these new customers about who you are and what you do because many people that signed up went to Fishbowl, not necessarily just through your company. You may get abuse complaints from sending the recipient an email because they may have never heard of you before (simply because they didn't read what they were signing up for).

App did not work very well for us. Kept getting an error that we did not have permission to view this website throughout the process. Spent 20 mins creating a campaign only to have it not save and not post. App is flowed so we went with another app.

This App is great for email collection and certainly provides some added value to your site. Everyone loves a free giveaway so it also is a great traffic driver. 5 stars!!

Great app. for collecting email addresses of potential customers. I ran one campaign and I got lots of entries, unfortunately the majority of the email addresses where from outside Canada, which doesn't work well for me. But if you are in the United States or you ship products internationally, this would be a great fit for you. Didn't work for me, but highly recommend it!

Expensive but works great. Easy to run a contest or giveaway to get your marketing list started. Highly recommended if you have the funds.

Concept is great, support is non-existent. Over 3 weeks we've waited for assistance with selecting a qualifying winner. Not impressed.

great app. Gets the job done. Works very good if you have a lot of traffic on your website/ More traffic = more emails, picks winner for you and all winners get notified. Good customer service too

I really love this app. I feel the widgets look great on any site. I feel that once you get your niche down and how to spread the contest viral this app is the best I've downloaded on shopify thus far. It is the only tool that has allowed me to get actual sales! The customer service is absolutely top notch as well!! I highly recommend this app to anyone starting a business!!
