Dropzone: Image Upload Manager App Reviews

Instead of manually going to each product and updating images - Dropzone lets you add, update & delete images from one location. All without excel sheets, or dropbox or any other dependencies.

This is a great way to speed up image uploads by uploading images to collections (multiple products) in one go.

How does it work?

1. Upload the image or images from your computer.
2. Select one image or press shift to select multiple images.
3. Drag n drop the images to the collection you choose. This will copy the image(s) to all products in the collection.
4. Once the process is over, click ‘Sync All’ to save your changes to Shopify, and you’re finished!

This is when you want to quickly update image positions or delete images across multiple products easily. Because you can view multiple products and images in one page, it makes it easier to re-order image positions or to mass delete images in one go.

How does it work?

1. Click on an image and drag-drop the image to the position
2. Drag n drop image across multiple products.
3. Click on the Delete button on the top right corner to see the delete button for every image.
4. Click on Delete on multiple images across different products.
5. Click ‘Sync All’ to save your changes to Shopify, and you’re done!

This is when you want more control - and you want to move different images to multiple specific products. Because you can view multiple products in one page, it makes it easier to shift images to these products.

How does it work?

1. Upload the image or images from your computer.
2. Select one image or press shift to select multiple images.

4. Choose the position you want to drop the image to. E.g. Dropping the image in the beginning of a product, saves it as the first image.
5. Tip: Use the search bar or the sort filters to quickly find specific products.
6. Click ‘Sync All’ to save your changes to Shopify, and you’re done!

Suppose you have a collection with 1000 products. You now want to add two images to all the 1000 products. How long does it take?

If adding 1 image to a product via Shopify admin takes 20 seconds. Then adding the same image repatedly to 1000 products will take 20,000 seconds.
