The post iOS14 world has been a nightmare. Our MER was all over the place. My accountant gave me nervous calls saying we did not have the cash to cover our ad expenses. FB ads manager data led me to believe it was right to scale to $14k/day in spend. But actual sales in our Shopify store said otherwise. It took awhile for me to realize this, but FB "modeled" conversion data was just basically blind guessing. Scaling with FB ads manager data alone was like playing Russian roulette.
