The customer experience is nice and fast: For the credit check they just need to enter their birthdate and confirm their gender (yes, only confirm, since we use AI to determine the gender based on the first name of the customer). After selecting the monthly payment plan and confirming it our system needs just 1-2 seconds to do the credit check and immediately confirm the payment to Shopify. That's it.

Once our partner PowerPay approves a payment you don't need to worry about defaults. PowerPay will send the invoice to the customer and also send reminders if necessary. And you will get the money in any case and after a predefined payout scheme (regardless if the customer already paid the invoice or not).

If a customer does not pass the credit check the system will show an understandable message, ask the customer to choose another payment method and send him back to Shopify checkout.
