Great Reddit client. Great Reddit client, not only my preferred way to browse Reddit on my phone but also on my Mac.

Best software application ever. In addition to its incredible optimizations and functionality, the developer is great at staying in touch with the community and listening to feedback. I've never seen a community so appreciative of an app before, and with such good reason. Apollo has fantastic custom video player and gestures. As well as support for all devices and apple functionality (iPhone, iPad, watch, shortcuts, etc). This app is essential for any apple reddit user.

Terrible quality. Gifs and videos have awful quality when watching them, even on high speed internet. When viewing albums it takes forever to load the pictures

Buggy. Constant crashing when trying navigating back. Riddled with pop up’s to buy his stupid pro and ultra subscriptions. What a degen.

THE BEST app for browsing Reddit. Apollo is by far the best app to browse and use Reddit on your phone or iPad. Great UI, awesome functions and the nicest little easter eggs around the app. If you want a nice app that looks great and is way less buggy compared to the original Reddit for iOS app, This is the app to get!

No notifications. Paid for premium but need to pay monthly subscription to get notifications.

You will be missed.. It’s sad seeing the greatest reddit mobile app being ripped away like this. Thanks for trying to make the web a better experience for the users.

Best app for Reddit, now discontinued because of Reddit. This app was fantastic, perfect, made from a great developer who also used Reddit and made the perfect app for it, but Reddit became greedy and destroyed this app. Really sad

RIP Appollo. Appollo is by far superior to the official app, so much so in fact that I'd gladly pay a sum each month to keep using it. Sadly the Reddit CEO is jealous of the app developer's success so instead of monetizing it in a mutually beneficial way, he acts like the toddler he is and decides to throw a tantrum. Sad, because this app is nothing short of wonderful.

Don't buy Pro or use another app. Lately the developer has taken to show full screen ads for the Ultra subscription every month or two. The catch? You only get these if you have paid for the Pro version get these, not if you use the free version. Also the dev has been less than honest, in the beginning telling users that the repeated showing of the ads was a bug, before announcing that it is indeed intended. Apollo is functionally fine, but there are alternatives to Apollo, like Slide or ReddPlanet. Give them a try.

Great Reddit app, but…. I have used and loved this app for a while, and paid to get the ad free version. The last couple of months I have started receiving ads for Ultra, Apollo’s subscription, when I open the app. This is the exact type of thing I paid money to avoid and it is very frustrating because the developer has stated they will continue to do these popups for paid users. I would recommend looking elsewhere if you want to pay one time for an ad free experience.

App itself is nice. But the constant nagging to upgrade to a paid “Ultra” version, despite already having bought a “Pro” version, is incredibly lame.

Disappointing that Apollo Ultra is a thing. Look, this app is amazing for a Reddit app. It’s well supported too. Which is why I paid for Apollo pro but now there is apollo ultra. I thought that with pro it would have covered notifications…. Like I get it, the dev needs to make a living but I feel like I’ve been had and after ultra will come platinum hence my hesitation to plunge for it. Again app is great, just disappointing payment tier addition.

Constant subscription nagging. I’ve used Apollo for years. I bought a copy of Pro because I liked it that much, and wanted to support the developer. Fast forward a few years, and now every month or two, I get nagged to upgrade to an “Ultra” subscription a few times a week with no way to opt out. I already paid for this application. I have no desire to pay you more money. Stop asking me.

Best Reddit app for iOS. Lots of customization options to fine tune your Reddit experience. Been using this for several years, and it is frequently updated with significant new features that keep it being the best option for Reddit on an iOS device.

Good, but slow. The app is good, but it takes for ever to load a GIF and/or video. Seriously, it takes for ever to load videos, even if the connection is good, and that is a deal breaker.

Full of bugs. I regret I paid for the in app purchase. This app has the potential to be so good but has so many bugs it’s pretty much unusable. The developer also takes so long to update, and every time there’s more bugs.

Ads. Used to be good, but now there’s frequent ada despite having paid for pro years ago with the promise of no ads. Now there are regular fullscreen ads for “Apollo Ultra”.

Best Reddit app EVER!!!. This is what the original Reddit app needs to be. Everything here is so polished and everything works so seamlessly. Massive prop’s to the developer.

After updating to IOS 14..... After updating to ios 14 I keep having to log into my reddit account when I re- enters the app.

The audacity of this creature, I mean creator. Could have mentioned that you paywalled posting before you advertised this as an alternative.

If you use Reddit, this is the app you want.. It’s amazing. Especially if you decide to donate some money, because that unlocks some better gesture controls. But is optional! And it you avoid the ads that the official Reddit app has if you use this app. That alone makes it worth it. Highly recommended!

Limited unless I pay a bunch. Feel like the basic functions of reddit should at least be free, like making posts and getting notifications. That's just my opinion tho. Also sidenote does the "Ultra" thing include the features of "Pro"?

Great app. Used this for years, sadly it’s shutting down soon because of decisions made by Reddit. I won’t be using Reddit anymore if this app goes away.

Intuitive. One of the reasons I love the Apollo app is that is is tremendously more intuitive than the native Reddit app. The interface feels slicker and more responsive, and also integrates gif and videos very well. I really recommend trying it out!

Works most of the time. Sometimes when clicking on a post you’ll only get a blank page with no way to get back (except force quitting the app). Sticking with bacon reader for now.

Pro app is a purchase of the app. However, to unlock certain features, you need to pay a subscription fee, which is basically icing on the cake.

Almost there. Just missing a couple of features.. Everything is honestly great. The only gripe I have with this app is with flairs. I cannot set or edit my flairs and neither are the flair icons visible.

Please fix the bugs.. I really like this reddit app. Its so much better than reddits own. But there is a few bugs I really wish they would fix. - iPhone sideview and then back has some bug so I get thrown to the top of my feed again. - Some Gifs wont load at all i fullscreen. - Zooming in on pictures auto zoom into top left corner for some reason. So I have to zoom out and then in again. Using an iPhone X.
