Adobe Digital Editions

Really outdated. It baffles me that a gigantic company like Adobe has an app like this in 2020. I thought the mac-version was bad, but I believe the iPad-version is even worse. The interaction design looks like something from early 2000s, when tablets were but a distant dream, and people wasn`t comfortable with touch screen. Seriously Adobe, this i embarrassing!

Stay away. Incredible. I considered not rating this app because it doesn’t deserve even one star.

Bad design, low functionality. This design of this app clearly shows that the iOS version wasn’t more than an afterthought. After 15 minutes, I still haven’t been able to get my “entitlement” from the desktop (.acsm) into this app. There is also no proper documentation, at least not for my use case. I can only guess it works in some way if you get your documents bound to your Adobe-account in some other way. Given that there is no corresponding Mac app, I’d assume you need a PC or it only works with online shops.

it doesnt even work. the pages just gets blanked out. i mean, i need this for my schoolwork… just absolute trash.

Just terrible. Whole app is just bad. If you’re considering buying book that requires ADE, please reconsider. It will not be worth your nerves reading it in this app.

Horrible. This is absolute the worst app I have ever tried. Incredible that such a bad product is released.

Severely disappointed. I have have the Creative Cloud and use a lot of Adobe’s products. This was useless on my iPad Pro. Really, Adobe? Pages doesn’t even render properly 😡

I lost a few thousand braincells using this app.. Seriously, I think i just got aids. - Importing books is a nightmare, I'll import one book and it suddenly appears twice in the library. Not only that but all the metadata gets thrown in the trash. Apparently "Chemistry (McMurry)" is actually called "I35GO8H0ROCIN4I" - The entire app feels sluggish, with constant hiccups and weird croppings of pages, not to mention that I need to swipe like a robot for the page to turn. Save yourself of the tumor and avoid this app.

Constant crash. Can’t read the book I bought as the app crashes each time I open the book... this feels like a total scam... please fix your app.

How???. Adobe, tell me, how can you make an app this BAD! It blanks out the text or looks like a printer ran out of ink. You seriously can’t make an app to show text? Holy cr*p you guys are incompetent.

Ikke kompatibel med andre devices. Ofte kommer meget negative anmeldelser fra enkeltpersoner som har hatt en uheldig erfaring med produktet. Jeg er en av disse. Lastet ned ADE for å kunne lese en e-bok som ikke var tilgjengelig på kindle. Fikk lastet den ned på macen via selgeren Bookamillion, og på datamaskinen fungerer alt som det burde. Men, på iphonen når jeg prøver å åpne bokfila spør ADE meg bare om å autorisere og deautorisere en rekke brukere fra fra både Booksamillion og Adobe uten å ha noen effekt. Forøvrig dukket ikke bokfila opp automatisk på telefonen slik den reklamerte med. Jeg var nødt til å snike den inn gjennom mail. Sittet her i en liten time uten å komme frem til noe annet enn å innse at jeg blir nødt til å bite i det sure eple og lese boka på datamaskinen. Noen andre som husker hvordan Kindle fungerte fra første stund og aldri trengte å vie den installasjonen en annen tanke? Ja, jeg er bitter. Skulle gjerne gitt enda lavere score.

Crashes constantly. The Adobe Digital Editions app crashes with disturbing regularity withouth saving the position in the book. It is next to useless.

Worse app ever used. Please stay away- shocked that the developers was happy with this end product. Would -1 star if possible

0 stars!. I would give 0 stars if i could! This app doesn’t work in several ways: it’s heavy to open, it’s heavy to read (it doesn’t show the pages of the books adjusted to the screen, so you have to zoom every sentences to read it!)…and it also make pages “disappear “ leave them blank! 😖

Doesn't work properly. It seems like the book is not on the iPad as it takes so long to load the pages. Feels more like I'm reading a book online.

Ubrukelig. Komplett ubrukelig til å lese pdf-bøker, stort sett vare blanke sider. Må zoome inn for å få en dårlig rendering av siden. Null stjerner, ikke kjøp Adobe digital Editions e-bøker!

Way too slowly. It doesn’t really work, fx go to a ceartain page. The page just turns grey.

Jeg ga opp. For å kunne registrere seg og få lest noe som helst må du muligens ha høy IT utdanning. Dette ble bare rot. Jeg sletter appen og finner en annen måte lese den aktuelle boken på
