I can’t get it to work anymore. I got logged out of my account and when I logged back in I got a message at the top of my screen saying something like «unusual activity detected free trial usage disable please buy a paid plan»… so until further notice il go look for alternatives
V-DaaR. Uploaded a free epub and immediately ran into the same problem every other TTS app has: awkward, robotic pauses at every single line break. If I am paying a premium monthly subscription fee for this app, I expect a truly premium experience. The app should automatically format and fix these line breaks upon import. I shouldn't have to hack the files myself to make the app work smoothly.
Viking. It's great but too expensive. Basically twice as expensive as getting real audiobooks from audible.
The best. In the ocean of AI TTS apps this one is the best, and I've tried many. Truly the best!
Impressive and expected. As always elevenlabs outclass all. I have been waiting so long for this and I am so happy it has finally arrived, and such a timesaver for me. Looking forward to getting more languages as well.
From Chaos to Clarity. My beginnings weren’t smooth. At first, it felt confusing and slightly overwhelming. I was trying to understand the system, testing features, sometimes burning credits while figuring things out. But then something shifted. Instead of rushing, I slowed down. Instead of trying to control everything, I started listening — to the process, to the tools, to my own creative rhythm. And suddenly, what once felt chaotic became clear. I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to use these tools. ElevenReader and ElevenLabs don’t just offer technology — they offer space. Space to experiment. Space to grow. Space to find your voice. I’m still learning. Still exploring. But now it feels grounded. Calm instead of chaos. And that changes everything.
Great with two major flaws. I’d give it 5 stars if there weren’t two very annoying things. 1. Whenever adding a new context it immediately starts reading. WHY? It’s super annoying -1 star 2. The app only works when you’re online. While I might understand that the audio part needs access to the server, why can’t I access at least the written text? -1 star. Most of the time I’m traveling by train and plane and in both I have either none or very bad internet. By at least having the the text available I could at least read.
Outstanding!. I'm a resident doctor and a book enthusiast, but the problem is my eyes are not as much free as my ears. So I was looking for an app which could turn my medical and non-medical books to speech. Genius AI model by Elevenlabs made my life much more fun! I love the legendary voices also. Very good work by the team, and all is also free!
The best so far. Fantastic smooth. It’s so natural that it does not feel at all artificial.
No major flaws. The only thing i would say is bad is the random sounds that come at the end of a paragrath. It doesnt happen all the time but still confusing. Still a five stars rated app since it has all u need and it is free
