Nyttig app. Men savner muligheten til alternative oversettelser, slik man kan i web-versjonen.

To hell with Google. Google has finally done it. They have some how managed to remove my languages and replaced it with Spanish for some reason, a language I have never used. So I say f#*k google. This app was never good anyway. Even on my phone I sometimes prefer using the web version than the app. Now the app is going to the trash bin where it belongs.

Må kunne oversette med latinske bokstaver. Det er jo ingen hjelp for meg når jeg skal oversette fra norsk til thai,at oversettelsen ikke kommer med latinske bokstaver i tillegg, selv om jeg kan høre oversettelsen.

Super annoying male/female choice.. The app used to be very good and pretty accurate, but ever since they’ve added the multiple choice male/female option it’s terrible. The resin being if you are writing a sentence and you mention a girl it automatically makes the whole sentence female, for example I said you are beautiful I’m a photographer I can photograph you if you’d like. And it automatically said fotógrafa which is female just because I said beautiful it assumed everything should be female so I then had to go in and adjust it all manually. In my opinion it was better before it had this forced option.

Crashing....🤬. Not working for f... sake....🤬 Crashing, can’t open....FIX ASAP....

One of my favorite tools. But, how to get in touch with you? What about an email for screenshots? Have used the app for years, but after the iOS 13.x update, I’ve huge problems to get rid of the former sentence or word once written with the 'X'‼️ Also problems marking text or words. Never a problem earlier.‼️

Hindu/Urdu Translation. Hello Since Urdu and Hindu are treated similarly in your app.There are problems with the assimilation of the characteristics. I would appreciate as well,that the English alphabet translation could be added as well as it is in the translation of the Hindu alphabet. Thank you Alexandra Reitan

Google app translator. Absolutely useless. Neither English nor French in the simplest words are translated correctly to Norwegian. The level of a 5 year toddler...

Worse than before. Thus app used to be fast and effective. After last update it is very bad. WHY make it worse

Best ever. I downloaded this translate app while gameing. Some games have built in translate. But most of them are not very good. Like the one in ROS. So I started using this one. Its easy to use. Pritty straight forward actualy. Now I use it in all my devices and encourage other gamers to donthe same😎👍

After last update not working with chrome. A lot of pages are not translating after last update. Norwegian-urkainian/Ru translation as an example

Ordbok-definisjoner. Translate-appen er en god venn, nesten alltid til å stole på, og funker fjell. Hva den derimot kunne trengt er ordbok-definisjoner på ordene som blir oversatt, slik som det er i den web-baserte utgaven. Opplever til tider at når jeg oversetter ord fra norsk til engelsk, og omvendt, at ordet egentlig er det samme med annerledes stavelse, en ærlig sak. Men hva ordet faktisk betyr blir jeg ikke noe klokere på. Håper det ga mening

Backwards…. The new update was much faster and looked nice (as per the images in the App Store). Now it’s back to slow and clunky looking sadly. Not sure why google have reverted to the old app.

When will google stop spying?. Found a hidden setting that allowed this app to basically spy on your photos. Never agreed to store anything, but it is turned on by default. The translations are not even that good either! Think I will delete and use a different app.

Don’t translate all webside. Some pages I don't want to translate at all.

Poor Norwegian translation. The English-Norwegian translation has always been disappointing with google translate ! Poor vocabulary !

Started to become slow and lagging response. Over the last 4 to 5 weeks the app has started to become extremely slow to respond to even a tap on the screen, pasting text can take up to 5 to 10 seconds. All this before the update to IOS 16. Updating to IOS 16 has made no difference. I have cleared the history, removed restarted the phone and reinstalled the app, after that it performed as it should for approximately 5 minutes then started the problem again. My question is “who broke google translate “ when will this issue be addressed. This review was written without any slow response or lagging so it’s not the phone.

Jeg har stor glede av dette programmet da jeg liker å vedlikeholde både fransk og spansk i tillegg til engelsk som jeg har hatt som arbeids språk og vil sikre at stavelse av ord alltid er riktig. Bug.. Seems to be a big bug with the camera feature. Tells me to turn off splitveiw to USE the camera, but i’ve turned IT off inn every setting for Both system and applications.

Slow to open or use. Since sometime in the last six months the app has gradually gotten slower and slower both to open and when it's opened, to use. I hoped with each update it would get fixed but it seems to only get worse. it's basically unusable at this point, I'll have to delete it

Faded letters. After camera translation , letters are very very faded. Have to zoom it to read what I have translated. Please fix it

New update. This app lacks the benefits of the desktop version. Can’t choose between contexts, can’t edit the output,etc. Instead of fixing it, the new update has a terrible interface.

New version with many problems. The new version is very bad. It hangs all the time, the speed is low compared to the previous version, and the translation is full of mistakes. I hope it either reverts to the previous version or a better version is provided, it was even easier to work with the previous version

Neutral. A friend of mine showed me this app so we could work through the language barrier. It was like 50/50 and they could understand some of it. Also i could just search up a translator website so i don’t know what to think of this app.

New wish. often i miss the possibility to upload to another app. Just like Notes, Pictures and other apps can upload to different other apps. I hope this will be possible in the future. Thanks. One other thing. It seems like written number of words have been been limited now. Often i get a message that the text is too long to be translated.. I hope this i s a temporarily issue. I also have a wish that the translations are marked with a date. This would make it easier to find the wanted translate I lwish you a good day

Pathetic. Why, why on earth did you choose to display only one translation of each word? Anyone with the least knowledge of translating knows that it is very rare that words have only one possible — not to mention correct — translation. The desktop version of Google Translate in any browser gives this, why not in the app? This app sets Google Translate ten years back.

It gets better & better!. I love this new update that, beyond translating the word for you, also gives you adjectives related to the word in question. Very useful for those moments when we still could not understand the "single-word-translation" in the previous versions. Thumbs up! 😃👍

A very useful tool. The handwriting function is particularly useful if your device lacks the necessary keyboard, such as when I translate from Russian. Even more useful would be a camera interface so I could photograph a text to get a translation.

Nett versjonen er bedre... Du har ikke mulighet til å få synonymer av oversatte ord. Du får bare denoversettelsen den gir deg og ikke noen andre..

Camera/Handwriting/Conversation/Voice buttons too close to text box. Everyone I want to edit what I typed I end up hitting the conversation button. This never happened before, only recently it seems the space between the text box and that row of buttons decreased. Making it really annoying!!!

Passord som ikke trengs! Password for payment that are not needed!. English: I can not download anything without typing a password (not the password that I must write to normal), but a password to pay anything when I do not really need it! You must fix it !!! Norsk: Jeg kan ikke laste noe uten å skrive et passord (ikke det passordet som jeg må skrive til vanlig), men et passord til å betale noe når jeg ikke egentlig trenger det! Dere må fikse det!!!!

Supert. Denne appen har blitt riktig bra. Bruker den for å lære både skriftspråk og uttale. Liker skriftgjenkjenning, er god øvelse om man prøver seg på japansk, arabisk eller kinesisk f.eks. Oversettelsene er mye bedre enn på den gamle browser-versjonen. 愛!

Bruker den hele tiden!. Appen er veldig god og har hjolpet meg mange ganger, men siden den er drevet av brukerene er det noen få grammatiske feil.

About Google Translate. I agree with that guy.. This is the best translator I have ever had and I hope the developers who made this will improve it even more.. Only thing with it,is that there are some languages that we can't listen to and I want that to be vimproved

For languages that combine nouns to make new nouns.. Norwegian, and several other languages make new words, with independent meaning, by combining other words, try using this translator for those languages! For a funny translation, try "pineapple chunks" from English to Norwegian. In Norwegian it's "ananasbiter", Google translates it to "ananas biter" wich means that the pineapple bites. It takes the noun, a bite, and translates it into the verb, to bite.

Misfornøyd.. Det er ofte ikke noen ord å oversette til, så må uansett dra frem ordboken eller gå på nett for å finne oversettelsen. Hadde også vært en fordel med synonymer, hvilket appen ikke har. Pluss i boken for at appen klarer å oversette via å ta bilde av teksten. Alt i alt: Ikke en særlig god oversetter. Så da laster jeg heller ned forrige oversettelses-app.
