Ordbok

What's free part could be more clear. Offline only for English, online for other languages. My impression was offline was valid fire all languages. Installed to test, disappointed, instantly uninstalled. Gets an astonishing one star.

Great app. It is one of the best app I have ever used.

Wonderful!. This app is amazing! Not only does it define words descriptively, but it also gives you good and somewhat difficult (well, not for me, but it was for some of my friends friends) articles, quotes and other goodies that gives me, a Norwegian student trying to improve my English, some cool and general facts to add to my knowledge. Awesome!! ;)

Dkc. Den er ikke braaa i det hele tatt!!!!!!! Den eneste grunnen til at jeg lastet den ned var så den kunne definere ordene som den sa den skulle men den funker bare som hangman!

God å ha!. Utmerket supplement til Google Oversetter. Fungerer godt når jeg leter etter nyanser, definisjoner eller synonymer. Setter også pris på å både kunne få engelsk og amerikansk uttale av et ord. Anbefales!

A superfluous app. The app was great until it forced me to watch an advertisement before I could search for a word. Very annoying. Their website does not force you to click away the adds since they are implemented in the user interface. Thus I uninstalled it so I could use their website instead.

Excellent. I used a different free dictionary and changed to this one. This one is much better. The meanings of words are backed up with example sentences and the thesaurus provides good suggestions. Spelling and hangman are also good activities to keep you occupied in a doctors waiting room that also improves your vocabulary. It even provides translations of words in multiple languages all for free. 5/5 from me

Quite good. Comprehensive, but contains entries only available in the online verson. Poor toggling functionality back and forth between previous searches, but contains bookmark library. Lacks interactive links to the separate entries of words in definitions

Fast and good. Works fast, iPhone 5 supported, and looks good. Easy to use. Makes difficult novels a lot easier.

Great app - but experiencing issues. Regularly when I search for a word, the definition pops up for a few seconds, and the page becomes white! It is then impossible to search for that particular word again. Then it will be okay for 2-3 tries, only to happen all over again. Very annoying! Especially since the words then as mentioned seem to become impossible to recheck. Other than that fantastic app and vocabulary. Very helpful!

Bra, men …. … hvis dere vil ha troverdighet med et oppslagsverk, bør dere ikke da sørge for å ha språket i noenlunde under kontroll? Hvordan fikk dere f.eks. til dette: «klikk kursen knappen»?

Great but with two flaws. I love this app and use it a lot. By far the best of the bunch. A few months ago I would have given it five stars, unfortunately two flaws have appeared. First, an invitation to download the app keeps popping up annoyingly often when you use the web version, even after you have downloaded the app. Second, sound no longer works, neither on my old nor my new iPad, so it is no longer possible to hear how the words should be pronounced. If these flaws are corrected, I will again give it five stars.

This is a very usefull app. As a lecturer In Philisophy and The History of Ideas, this app is a very good tool. I have tried this app several times, and have always got the informations I was seeking. I recommend this app CC Andersen from Norway

Not a simple dictionary. Was looking for a straight forward dictionary, but this one was over the top. Tried to find simple norwegian words (it was supposed to support norwegian), but no luck. I'm trying a different app.
