Hva er Catan Classic-appen? "Catan", the legendary strategy game provides gaming fun anytime, anywhere.

The Cities and Knights expansion introduces various new gameplay mechanics that add even more variety to Catan. Invest new trade goods in city improvements to build one of the three metropolises of Catan – but beware of the barbarians attracted by Catan’s new wealth! You’ll need your best knights to fend them off! C&K contains a short campaign and 7 challenging maps.
Exciting adventures await you in the two new scenarios "Enchanted Land" and "The Great Canal". Vanquish dragons and bag their treasures or build a canal to help barren grain fields bloom once more.

Catan FAQ:
Question: An expansion seems gone after an update or reinstallation of Catan or after restoring the device?
Answer: Don’t worry! Your initial purchase is already saved in your iTunes account. You can restore your InApp purchases by selecting the restore-option in the Catan IAP menu.
Question: I lost my campaign progress after reinstalling, updating or restoring my device. Is there any way to restore it?
Answer: When saved games can’t be automatically restored, we’ve integrated a cheat code: In the campaign mode go to select player and enter „CatanWarp*“ (* = 1–15) as your player name and confirm. Exit the game via the home button and restart it. The campaign can now be continued from the specified level number (1–15). Levels up to the specified number will be unlocked in the custom game mode as well.
Question: Are dice rolls really random?
Answer: Of course! All dice rolls are 100% random and not modified in any way. We’re avid Catan players ourselves. We’ve played the iOS version hundreds of times while developing the program. There have been times when we won and lost a few games in a row because of the dice - just like when playing the board game!

Hmmz. Good game, play it while on toilet. Can bug out some times. Fix it for a 5!
Fengende brettspill-conversion. Skremmende artig og enkelt å lære seg, dessuten er det veldig batterivennlig. Har du spilt brettspillversjonen ev. med utvidelsespakker og likt dette, kommer du mest sannsynlig elske dette.

Godt!. Liker spillet og bruker appen ofte. Ikke så fan av utvidelsene, men det er ingen masing om kjøp heller.
Bra. I like it, but the game boards in the campaigns are always the same.. The hexes should be randomized for each game

Catan - Too many crashes. I like the game and play it at least one hour everyday. I'm disappointed that the game still have some bugs after my last feedback. Some bugs you have to fix: - the opponent players can't move the pirat. Even if they have an armed knight there. - opponent players can't use the card where they can change normal ressurses like wood, grain, rock etc with the three big ressurses (I don't remember the name, bit those who are blue or green). Those who allow you build bigger knight or get one ressurs for free IF you have 3 of kind. Nice that you have given us multiplayer possibilites. All the notes over thoughtI was sent earlier. I hope my notes are saved now, read from iTunes or Apple and that they will take some action

Joining online. There’s always something wrong with joining online. I’ve never managed to find the confirmation email so I can play online. So now I’ve paid 5$ for only playing with fictive robots :-/ Like the game though. Is there any place I can find help with this?
Crap game engine. I've played this a lot, but get annoyed after a few games because of the lousy game engine. The dice roll doesn't have a proper randomizer, and the gameplay in general seems too manipulated. Once I placed my initial settlements on the worst possible coastal spots, only having access to two resources. This was in "hard" game mode and still I won the game with three computer opponents. Play the board game with your friends.

Cant play. The app is crashing, cant log in or play

Crashes all the time. The game itself is great when it works but it is constantly crashing. Going to go download a different Catan, wish I hadn’t spent money on this.
Not quite what I expected. At a high price, it still has most boards locked (pay to open). Crashes are frequent, and AI could be a few notches smarter to make the game more challenging
Crashes every game. The game is no longer playable, the app crashes 2-3 times each game.
Waste of money. Get the free version if you don’t wanna contemplate your life decisions :)

Crashes too often. Fun game but it crashes constantly. Can almost guess that 1/2 of your online games will crash at least once, once every 3 games vs the computer. If I have to pay, then fix the crash issue.

Meh... With all the bugs and hiccups, definitely not worth the money. Also; after an update I was unable to log in to the app. Tried to reset my password by clicking "forgot your password". Led me to a German site demanding I logged on with the forgotten password to reset.. Ridiculous.
The app is crashing!. Seriously, fix this game! I have to log in almost EVERYTIME after each game! Makes this non playable.

Settlers of catan. Genialt, min favoritt på telefon. Et spill som tar litt tid hvis man kjeder seg. Ingen ting å utsette på dette. Koster litt mer en andre spill mer er verdt det.

Good implementation of great boardgame. While it's always more fun to play the boardgame with friends, this app is a good substitute when there is no-one around. By and large a good implementation but I would like the ability to review the board while considering an offer from another player (and sometimes the game fails to properly show responses to my offers but that's a fairly minor bug).
Works great. Only problem is that it gets addictive.

A good game, but.... It really often tilts. I cant go on with the campains after the 13th, cause i cant get into the game before im thrown out again. Its totally not worth the money for me...

Ruined by bad dice algorithm. This game could be excellent but the game play is unfortunately badly degraded by a ridiculous dice algorithm favouring the AI in an obvious manner. Fixing this could earn the game a five star rating, but now it doesn’t deserve more than one star.
Great game but... More game setups should be possible, and also to select how aggresive the players should be. Deny to trade if you are near winning and so on.
Bra spill men.... Spillet et kjempebra og har aldri opplevd at det henger seg. Har spilt det en del ganger. Men når jeg kjøpte ny iPhone så ble ikke sjøfareren overført til den nye, bare settlers. Må faktisk kjøpe utvidelsen på nytt for å få spilt den:(

Bedre enn brettspillet!. Expansion packen kan anbefales. Spillet er utrolig bra i seg selv. Men med expansion pack får du veldig mye mer for pengene.
Best and my most plade game. Play it all the time. The different scenarios/olika banor never bores you. Different game everytime. Have the boardgames IRL too, so Im sort of a fan. But I have never introduced the game to anyone whom have not liked it afterwards. The only downside is that you cant play it online. But then again the computerplayers/AI:s are a lot faster so i probally prefer them anyways. Just like in ticket to ride and carcassone, never play them online, even if you can. Anbefalles, rekommenderas, buy it for loads of strategic fun. Not to hard and not to easy. Love it!

Spillet fryser seg :S. Morsomt og variert spill, MEN det låser seg og til, og da må man reinstallere og bynne på nytt.. Har skjedd 2 gang med meg nå :(
Buggar gjør spillet ubrukelig. Mange omganger går helt greit. Så opphører plutselig spillet å virke mitt i spillet. Neste motspillere spiller aldri... Stenger man av spillet og starter på ny får man ikke noen sjanse å starta nytt spill uten man kommer istede til akkurat samme posisjon der ikke noe kan gjørast! Har ventet på en oppdatering lenge men den virker ikke komme!

The program stops/shuts down. Very frustrating that it is impossible to play for more than 10 sec. It just stops/shuts down. Hope it will be fixed asap!
Settlers of Catan. Supert spill, men burde hatt flere ulike brettformasjoner! Når man har spilt mye kan man de utenat... Ellers helt perfekt!

Vanedannende. På en 3GS går spillet utmerket. Veldig bra grensesnitt! Har opplevd den freeze bugen en annen kommentar nevner, men bare en gang på 50+ spill.
