You must have a Rakuten Advertising account to use this app. This app is designed for Rakuten Advertising customers who want to set up their Rakuten Advertising tracking and other program features. It allows Rakuten Advertising customers to add affiliate tracking to their shop. Once tracking is enabled, shop transaction data is reported back to Rakuten Advertising to power the affiliate marketing, display, and search programs running through Rakuten Advertising.

After the app is installed and configured, you will be set up to manage your affiliate program through the Rakuten Advertising dashboard. In the Rakuten Advertising dashboard, which is separate from the app, you will be able to connect with publishers, create CPA offers, run reports, and more.

Because this app plugs directly into your store, this app streamlines the work that you need to do to complete your Rakuten Advertising affiliate tracking integration. Once you complete installation and configuration of tracking using this app you will use Rakuten Advertising's Advertiser Dashboard for ongoing management of your program.

To use this app, you will need first to have a contract and account set up with Rakuten Advertising. Having an account will give you a "Merchant ID," also referred to as "MID". An MID is required to configure this app after you install it.

There are no additional fees to use this app. It is a convenience for streamlining the set-up of your tracking.
