Who is the Quantity Calculator app for?

The app will be useful to any merchant who sells products when the quantity of the product that should be purchased is determined by the area or cubic volume of the purchaser's project. Examples include merchants that sell building materials, cleaning products, flooring, concrete products, fertilizer, paint, soil, tile, turf, or any product whose description includes words such as, "One unit will cover X".

What units of measure does the Quantity Calculator support?

All units of measure are supported. After installing the app and performing some basic setup steps, the Product Detail Page will contain a field to capture the divisor for that product. Simply make sure the divisor is relevant to the unit of measure used for the product.

Can multiple types of calculations be supported at the same time?

Create a different product template for each type of calculation. For example, if you have some product quantities that are determined by area and others that are determined by cubic volume, create a different product template for each.
