When a buyer places an order for your products, Shopify automatically sends the order details to us.

Set Your Own Prices

We set a base price for each product that we manufacture, and then you add a markup on top of that base price. Whatever you set as your markup... that's exactly how much you'll earn on the sale. Here's an example:

  • Our base price for a 14" x 14" throw pillow is: $17.00
  • Let's say that you set your markup to be: $8.00
  • When a buyer purchases the throw pillow through your Shopify store, Shopify is going to charge the buyer $25.00 and deposit that money into your bank account.
  • Shopify will then send the order details to us so that we can fulfill the order for you. We're going to manufacturer the throw pillow for you, ship it to the buyer, and charge your credit card $17.00.
  • The buyer paid you: $25.00. You paid us: $17.00. Your profit is: $8.00.
  • It's that easy. If you want to earn more on each sale, just increase your markup. You can set it as high or as low as you want to set it, and you can change it at any time.

Don't be like me and waste time and money on this app/service. I ordered a print once before from Pixels and the quality of the print was great so I was excited about setting up a Shopify store to start selling my photography prints with Pixels as my PoD supplier. I went through building my Shopify storefront and uploading all of my photos to Pixels, and setting all of the prices; I even paid for an annual premium subscription to be able to upload more than 25 photos. Additionally, you have to (at a minimum) pay over $300 to make your Shopify account an annual plan and get Custom Carrier Shipping. The problem is: Custom Carrier Shipping does not integrate as advertised. I contacted customer support, where I was asked by Abbie to add a member of the Pixels team to my Shopify store as a staff member. I did so, and it has since been over a week since I have heard anything else from Pixels customer support; despite 5 separate attempts by me to follow up. All this while customer orders are piling up in my store, but I am unable to ship thanks to Pixel's insufficient app. 3 of my follow-up attempts were by email; 2 by phone. There is no phone # listed on the Pixels site to contact support, so I had to hunt around online for a bit first. The one number I was able to find took me to Dominique from customer support - only not on this end of the business. At first I was told that since I had sent an email that day, I was required to wait 24 hours for a response before they could assist me; which made no sense given that I had not heard from them on prior emails for over a week. I told Dominique I would call back in 24 hours. I did, and she said actually there is nothing she can do anyways because she doesn't work in the end of the business. I asked to be transferred to someone who did and she was unable to do that. I asked to speak to a manager and she said that the only way to contact any manager was through email (as I had been doing, without response). I sent one final email strongly expressing my frustration with Pixels' inability to provide reasonable, 2021 standard customer service, and offering a chance to redeem themselves to win my business. Again, I had ordered prints directly through Pixels, and was satisfied with the print itself so I would have liked to work with them. But this attempt to restore the relationship was to no avail, as once again, I received no response. Not even a "we're still working on it..." Heed the negative reviews on this app. Do not make the same mistake I did giving them the benefit of the doubt.

This App is excellent! I've been using their app for years with no problem. All orders have been fulfilled and delivered as promised. Their customer service is phenomenal! They respond so quickly and have genuinely helpful responses. I highly recommend Pixels!

The worst experience ever! I cancelled the last order, refunded customer & uninstalled their app, yet they keep trying to charge my card and email me hundreds of messages every day for 2 months now. I got over 1000 messages from Pixels with the title "Urgent - Shopify Order on Hold - Invalid Payment Method". I am stuck. It’s a system glitch that Pixels need to fix. I can’t do anything on my end and support just stopped responding. I had to cancel my card, but I am not sure what to do about the email. I can’t change it because I have business cards printed with that email address. It’s an absolute nightmare!

I have been using the Pixels app since 2018 and definitely recommend this app. Pixels prints with outstanding quality and fast shipping times. Our Shopify store currently offers prints, home décor, and accessories with the Pixels app. Here is a little background as to why we chose Pixels as our primary POD company to work with. I am a 2nd generation graphic artist. We started a family business in 1992, specializing in high end, high volume screen printing on apparel. 100% of our work was in-house from new artwork generation, to separating the print colors, printing film positives, stretching screens, exposing and reclaiming screens, etc. Our press ran 8 color simulated process designs at 70 dozen shirts per hour with a 0.01% misprint ratio. Typical across the industry was 30 doz/hr with a 2% misprint ratio. Our ‘down time’ between jobs was 16 minutes to clear one set of screens, set up the next job and have a perfectly printed shirt in hand. The industry average was about an hour. It was like a Formula One racing pit stop. I was Production Manager and Quality Control Officer and created our Standard Operating Procedures. In 1998 we opened a retail store in a very busy tourist/resort town. All of our retail products were printed in our production shop. In 2003 we added dye sublimation to our product line. In 2008 we added a 44”, 12 color printer to print large format prints for our store. Matting and framing was also a part of the process. Our first e-commerce store began in 2003, offering both print on demand items and pre-printed items. When considering POD apps for our Shopify Store, I ordered samples and was impressed with the quality of the products from Pixels and decided to use Pixels and am fully committed. I have not been disappointed. As a bonus, each month I receive sales from Fine Art America which is something that no other app can offer. The added sales channel can be very profitable. I am very happy to have chosen Pixels as my primary POD app on Shopify!

Simple, easy to use, great support - been using for many years! If I had to add a suggestion, it would be to auto-sync products within Shopify when there are updates to the items, for example when newer phone case options become available, to make it so that new products don't have to be made from scratch.

I have worked with the Pixels / Fine Art America team for several years and am excited to now be able to add their broad base of products to my Shopify store. The development team has been responsive in helping me to get 100s of new products added. The new price reductions are also much appreciated. As a result of the new Pixel product additions I've seen a significant increase in organic site traffic and have made several seamless sales. I'm really looking forward to watching the Pixels-Shopify partnership grow- there are LOTS of new possibilities here for my business.

I'm giving 5 stars because, from a professional artist's standpoint, the quality of art prints made by Fine Art America is unparalleled to ANY other printing app on shopify. Believe me, I tried them all. I ordered from each site, compared, and this is the only one that is ACTUALLY high quality. The other reviewers here want merchandise like pillows, t-shirts, etc... I can't vouch for their clothes or home deccor because I haven't ordered them. But I know for a FACT that their Fine Art prints are the absolute best. No other app on shopify can possibly beat their quality. If you compare their art print base prices to other reputable Fine Art printing companies like Society6 and RedBubble, their prices aren't bad. Best of all, they are RELIABLE. I can't tell you how frustrating it has been using other printing companies that have the frames arrive totally broken, bent, or lost in the mail. It takes up too much of my time combatting quality complaints from unhappy customers. The higher price is worth the quality on their Art Prints. They also ship world wide. & their interface for uploading artwork is EASY. CG Pro Prints (which people claim is the best for art prints... I didn't like their quality...) their interface is absolutely awful, incredibly confusing and time consuming. This PIxels app knocks it out of the park with ease & quality. The only few complaints that I have is that the phone number listed on this app page here does not get you in contact with the technical developers of the app. That phone number just connects you with the printers at FineArtAmerica.com who don't know how to answer any questions about the app itself, only about their actual prints. It makes me sad that the other reviewers here are knocking down the rating so much of what is the BEST QUALITY art prints. Their art prints are TOP NOTCH, you will not find better quality on any other Shopify app, I GUARANTEE IT... and if you do, let me know, I'd like to see it in order to believe it. This company is unbeatable from what I've seen. Better than CG PRO prints, better than Printify or Printful or any of those other apps. This app needs a higher rating for the beauty and the quality Fine Art Prints, and their overall world wide reliability. I can trust them with my Art career. I also reached out to them through the email they list here, and they responded within 24 hours. They also explained to me that recently they lowered the base prices of their apparel and lifestyle/ home decor type products. I also brought up the importance of including more frame options etc, and they took my suggestions to heart and added more of their beautiful frame options. It feels really great to be heard, and that they treat customers like their opinions/requests matter. The customer service is great -- They treat you like you are a valuable customer.

I'm not sure why they have a bad review. Their shipping is way faster even during covid than any of the other Print On Demand Companies and their products are AMAZING. I am a professional full time artist and have shopped many places for quality prints and they are by far the best!

The app was easy to install and it was very easy to use. However after going through all the setup for the various products, when it came time to add them to the store not all the products were available. The app still needs work. The base prices are ridiculously high. I appreciate the ease of using a print on demand service but if no one purchases your products because the prices are too high then it defeats the purpose and no one makes any money including Pixels. As a last note. I had emailed their customer service several days ago and still have yet to receive a reply. To the extent that Shopify has contacted them as well, requesting that they answer my query. I will be removing this app and trying another company.

Although the quality of the products was good and the ease of adding products to my site was nearly seamless, with a lot of options, I don't recommend Pixels. I had to check pricing for each order as they over-charged me often, they don't charge tax or offer branding, they have limited and inaccurate information about their products and when they had lost or delayed orders-which happened a lot, they responded rudely, if at all. I do not recommend getting tangled up with this app.

The support is good. They answer and address the issues. The MAJOR HOLE in this app is that its SKU numbers are beyond 80 characters, so they cannot be listed on either Amazon or eBay. Thats a HUGE setback for selling online in the 21st Century. THE PROS: you dont have to stick to standard cropping for your artwork. You can do something other than 3:2, which is what every other POD place makes you stick to, and they offer lots of awesome papers and media for your art. THE CONS: you cant really get it anywhere other than your own Shopify store, and watch the artwork languish for lack of exposure.

The number of items is being limited even though the store has unlimited items. I have reached out to customer support 2 times with no response at all. If they can't find time to help me on this, how are they going to resolve product/customer based concerns? The app is very limiting in frame and mat choices as well. The concept is there, but they have a long way to go in execution.

We’ve been using Pixels/Fine Art America for several years now and are very happy! The selection of products, the availability of true print sizes and the superior quality of finished pieces make Pixels the best in the industry. Professional quality print-on-demand all the way around. In the rare times we have had a question or an issue, customer service has been responsive and helpful. If you have questions about the app and how it integrates into your store, the Pixels/FAA discussion boards offer a plethora of information. Highly recommend!

The base prices are insane. There are way too many other print-on-demand companies with MUCH lower prices to go any farther with my test of the app. I only got as far as uploading a photo in order to see base prices for all products. After seeing the same products I pay other printers 50% less for, I quickly uninstalled. $30 base price for a phone case?? $20 for the same tote others sell for $10? $18 tees others sell for $10-13? No.
