Great if all your orders are local delivery, but when you put an order through manually you can't choose local delivery, which means you can't add the order to the delivery route. also needs to rethink using google maps a check as google maps is so wring so much of the time, you have to budget the customers addresses to add them to the route. could do with some work in my opinion.
This app needs to allow ALL orders to be assigned instead of just the online orders. We are a brick and mortar location that does both in person and online sales and we need to be able to include the customers that check out in person to the app. Not really useful if we can't do that.
A lot of room for improvement. Firstly, why can't these orders be modified? What if a customer changes or we are short. Second, you should be able to limit what products are available.
For manually created or imported orders its not possible to set the shipping method to 'Local Delivery' which makes the whole things pretty much useless as it only works with orders created by customer

I love this app. However there is so much that can be improved. 1. Add waypoints in route. ie supplier pickup points 2. Routing uses toll roads and you cannot opt out. in Melbourne it costs $70 a day to use the toll road in a truck so i avoid them. however the algorithm assumes you want to take toll roads wich causes routes to be incorrect 3. Glitch with paypal not allowing to orders to be marked as delivered 4. Support via email only
This does not work with the Shopify pos app (shop in store; get it delivered). I also don't think they are updating this app to improve it.
Limited in the number of zone you can have, in my case causing us to charge customers more due large zones that have to include more distances When using this app, local delivery and pickup orders can not be edited. Good luck if you are out of an item or selling produce/meats and poultry
Not too happy, the app goes on all products which makes it hard for me because some of my products are from a different vendor. I should be able to put which product can be locally delivered.
This app has huge potential because it already intergrates to shopify , but having read all the reviews you can see not much is being done to add more features. There are alot of valid suggestions within the past reviews and to date none of them have been developed even thou they were mentioned more than 6 months ago so not sure how serious shopify is with this app. Some features that urgently need adding POD , Manuel adding of addresses just to name a few.. If you cant add these features maybe you should buy an exsisting platform that has these features because alot of us are looking for these things.. Personally if it didnt intergrate into shopify i wouldnt even use it because their are alot better apps out there. Im not complaining Im just stating how i see the app and its currently very basic overall Id say it 3.5 / 5.. If the developer is to make a reply to this review please give some depth to your answer and not just say we will pass your feedback on because thats not what we want to hear
I use this app weekly for in-person deliveries. I like the interface and the route optimization. I dislike its integration with other apps, such as maps and text messaging.
We tested this app. There is no option to manually add orders to a delivery route makes this app not usable for us. Looks very promising but seems to lack any serious ways to customise. Quite sad given the potential.
We started using this app a couple weeks ago. Initially very excited about it as it seemed very easy to use and integrated nicely with our site. However, as time passed we found a few short comings. We have growing subscription business but any orders that come through the subscription app cannot be loaded into the Local Delivery app so you cannot include these orders in the delivery route. Even if the customer chooses the Local Delivery option. You cannot partially fulfill an order that is set up as Local Delivery and this cannot be changed once it is selected. You cannot change an existing order to Local Delivery after it comes in, so these orders cannot be added even though they are local. Shopify claims they are aware of this but no indication this is going to change anytime soon. It works great as long as you don't need to do any of these particular items.
Great app and user friendly. I wish I could add local delivery to customized draft orders. It would also be nice if I could create my own route instead of the app deciding what delivery is next. Otherwise it works great and deserves 5 stars.
needs to sync with a delivery date and time picker so customers can choose when they want their products delivered. I have a third party booking app that does this but the local delivery app did not display or sync any of that info.
The app works really well with other apps to help make the delivery process easy! I would highly recommend!

Need to the ability to add a stop without having an order. Would be great if we could have a list of drivers and assign delivery plans to a driver, who could then only see their assigned plans.
seems like the app is a bit still under construction but all in all works really well. does the basics very well. excited to see it improve
