FieldsRaven is built to make on-the-fly data collection on Shopify as simple as possible, to help you unlock the full potential of Shopify storefronts/themes.

The idea is simple, FieldsRaven is exposing the Metafields API on the storefront through a Shopify app proxy – to make sure the request is legit and secure – so you may take full advantage of creating (or updating) metafields on the storefront.

Metafields open lots of possibilities, now with the flexibility of creating them on-the-fly from the storefront, the sky's the limit. You're welcome!

What do you do when you need to add customer attributes on-the-fly? Maybe capture a customer's birthdate, favorite color, or few quiz answers that will help you get to know your customers better.

Usually you'd build a middleware, host it, manage it, stay up to date with Shopify's API changes, plus whatever code on the storefront to send data to that middleware's API.

Now imagine doing this for multiple Shopify stores! That's a lot of time and energy.

With a couple of lines of code you'll be able to add custom attributes to customers, pages, articles, blogs, collections and products.

To make things simple for you, I added a couple of examples to get you up and running in no time:

1. Birthday Popup: an example implementation for a customer birthday reward popup.
2. Sitemap/Search engines Hide/Show: an example implementation for sitemap/search engines hide/show on the storefront.

I built FieldsRaven to be able to build advanced features and say "YES" more often when a merchant asks "Is this possible?".
