Site Communicator app allows store owners to communicate with their customers via email or text message in automated fashion. Purpose of the app is to communicate with customer via email and/or text using predefined templates and schedule.

This app allows to define multiple templates for email and text messages. You can multiple templates and associate with their unique schedule. You can specify multiple schedules based on several conditions and when those are true then email or text messages based on pre-defined get delivered to customers.

This app uses Twilio to send our messages and maintain log of all outgoing messages for 30 days.

Following are available functional modules in this app: 1. Template Management – Display list of all templates with option to edit, delete or deactivate next to each record. On this page show button to add new template.

1. User can define multiple templates. Templates can be following types: Email, Text or Email and Text. After selecting template, user can define template content. In content several dynamic placeholder tags are supported that will be replaced with actual content when email / text messages are sent.

2. Schedule Management - Display list of all existing schedules with option to edit, delete or deactivate next to each schedule. Each Schedule consists of Conditions, Timing and Template.

3. User can define multiple schedules. Every schedule consist of conditions and timing. Conditions can be multiple and each condition consist of combination based on order fields: collection name, product name, billing country / state and shipping country / state.

4. Timing is when message will be sent out. User can specify multiple timing. Each timing record consists of options based on order date.

5. In summary app allow users to define template with dynamic placeholders, define logical conditions and delivery schedule for email or text messages. All of information is easily accessible via dashboard.

6. Logging - System maintains log of email and text messages sent for 30 days. If there is error when sending out message then displays error details next to record that user can review further to find cause of issue.
