When you set up a sale, when the time's right we go through each product and adjust the price of every item by setting the new price and then the old price becomes the "Compare At" field in Shopify.

If you have product costs set up known as "cost per item" in Shopify set. We'll use this information to make sure products are not discounted below the margin of profit you want.

Tell us the minimum margin you'd like products to be sold at a discount price for and we'll do the rest. This way, you won't offer 50% off a product that would then cost you money, rather than make you money when a customer buys it.
